My friend I went back for a second visit. It took ONE hour before food was in front of us to eat. That's BULLSHIT. Strike 2 came when I asked for the boysenberry jam. The waitress said "We don't have that" and I asked "What happened?". She had no answer and acted like they had never served it before. She said "We have marionberry jam" but when I was served, all I got was two kinds of syrup. WTF? These people don't even know the difference between syrup and jam! There will NEVER BE A THIRD VISIT. Go to the Pancake Mill for outstanding breakfast foods and much better overall service. They get swamped every single day because they know how to run a restaurant and make great food. read more

This place gets very busy so expect a long wait for food or to be seated. The food is worth the wait ! They have really cleaned up this place and it is very nice inside. The staff treat you like family here and remember you time and time again when you go back. It reminds me of eating at Grandmas house. Stopped here for breakfast before heading back to Cali. I have tried chilaquiles from San Diego, CA to northern Humboldt County, CA and this place by far has the BEST chilaquiles I have EVER had! This is the best breakfast in Coos Bay and North Bend. If you're a resident or just visiting don't miss this treasure! The restaurant is clean and the decore is beautiful. The bathrooms are clean and modern. They have a small menu but everything is delicious. Breakfast and lunch is served all day. The Eggs Benedict will knock your socks off. My mom had the pancakes this morning and they looked so fluffy and they have Marian Berry Syrup. The meals are huge and fairly priced. This morning we paid $13 for each plate. Tucked away and absolutely worth the drive, this spot feels like one of those rare finds you want to tell everyone about, but also want to keep to yourself. The wife waits the tables with warmth and charm while the husband runs the kitchen, and together they've created something truly special. Grandma was in there waiting tables as well! I had the chilaquiles, layered with salsa verde, tender shredded pork, pinto beans, and house-made tortillas. Topped with two farm fresh eggs, cream, and avocado, it was rich, comforting, and beautifully balanced. Cameron went with the biscuits and gravy, and wow! Those biscuits were clearly made from scratch. Tender, flaky, and paired with hearty gravy, plus farm-raised eggs with yolks so bright they looked almost orange. Add in some crispy bacon on the side, and it was perfection. The coffee deserves its own mention. It was smooth, bold, and served in giant mugs that make lingering over breakfast feel just right. They're closed Tuesday through Thursday, so plan ahead. Open 7-2 on weekdays and until 3 on Saturday and Sunday. This café is the real deal: family-run, full of heart, and delivering incredible food. Small venue and small menu actually make this place my favorite for breakfast, and I've been to a lot of them. The restaurant is the size of a small studio apartment with about 10 tables, That means not only can the staff be attentive, but the cooks can also concentrate on making the best breakfasts ever. My "huntsman" omelette was the fluffiest, best cooked omelette ever. Not a single brown spot on the fluffy eggs, cheese perfectly melted, and just the right amount of meat for the perfect flavor. They threw in a little bit of fun by serving the toast in a criss cross pattern. Loved the boysenberry jam as well. I wish I lived in the area so I could visit more often. read more

Once again, they've hit a HOME RUN: we had Chilaquiles Chili Verde and Wedge Salad. They make their chili verde weekly! Exquisite! They must make their Bleue Cheese dressing! Amazing! THEY MAKE THEIR TORTILLA CHIPS!!! Everything is PERFECT! The cheese, the avocados perfectly sliced and placed on top of two fried eggs! WOW! We have been here twice so far. Hubby ordered bacon and egg breakfast the first time and chilaquiles the next time. I ordered chilaquiles the first time and chilli omelet with potatoes next time. Found this place on google while we were camping in Coos Bay. It was clear on the other side of town so it was about a 18 minute drive for us, but I have to say it was well worth it. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We had our three kids and it's very family friendly. The food was top notch. The biscuits and gravy is amazing. So was the French toast. It's also very clean and nicely decorated inside. I highly recommend this place even if you have to drive a bit. read more

So we have wanted to come and check this restaurant out so we waited for a table today, Sept,21, 2025. We did have to wait for a table, then one came open so they gave it to us. All the ladies were busy, so we finally got to order. So it was probably 30-45 minutes, we were saying wow, this place is small, and full so we have to be patient. All three ladies were soooo nice, made sure we had water and coffee, very good taste!! So our food came and we both thought, wow this looks yummy!! From the first bite to the last, it was awesome!! Place is small , which makes it hard for them to seat people quickly, cooks were like busy beavers back there. So I say ya gotta go. Closed Tues, Wed, and Thursday. So we know where we be eating for breakfast. Very clean and the place is just cozy!!
