    Chili Chili Bang Bang omelet

Had the Chili Chili Bang Bang omelet. Fantastic food, service and vibes. Great drip coffee served in a very cool mug. Big Band music playing in the background. Wonderful!

    Chilaquiles

Stopped here for breakfast before heading back to Cali. I have tried chilaquiles from San Diego, CA to northern Humboldt County, CA and this place by far has the BEST chilaquiles I have EVER had! I will 100% make a trip back to Coos Bay just for this! Wonderful wait staff and a lovely atmosphere, I would give this place 10 stars if I could.

This is the best breakfast in Coos Bay and North Bend. If you're a resident or just visiting don't miss this treasure! The restaurant is clean and the decore is beautiful. The bathrooms are clean and modern. They have a small menu but everything is delicious. Breakfast and lunch is served all day. The Eggs Benedict will knock your socks off. My mom had the pancakes this morning and they looked so fluffy and they have Marian Berry Syrup. The meals are huge and fairly priced. This morning we paid $13 for each plate. It goes without saying that you will get home town service here.

D Street Café is the definition of a hidden gem. Tucked away and absolutely worth the drive, this spot feels like one of those rare finds you want to tell everyone about, but also want to keep to yourself. The wife waits the tables with warmth and charm while the husband runs the kitchen, and together they've created something truly special. Grandma was in there waiting tables as well! I had the chilaquiles, layered with salsa verde, tender shredded pork, pinto beans, and house-made tortillas. Topped with two farm fresh eggs, cream, and avocado, it was rich, comforting, and beautifully balanced. Cameron went with the biscuits and gravy, and wow! Those biscuits were clearly made from scratch. Tender, flaky, and paired with hearty gravy, plus farm-raised eggs with yolks so bright they looked almost orange. Add in some crispy bacon on the side, and it was perfection. The coffee deserves its own mention. It was smooth, bold, and served in giant mugs that make lingering over breakfast feel just right. They're closed Tuesday through Thursday, so plan ahead. Open 7-2 on weekdays and until 3 on Saturday and Sunday. This café is the real deal: family-run, full of heart, and delivering incredible food. A true gem and a must visit.

Great service and delicious food thank you so much. And very reasonable price. I had the chilaquiles one day and we came back the next day because the food was so good. I had the pancakes full and they were delicious. I would highly recommend this spot. For anyone visiting the area or any locals. The dining room is inviting and welcoming. Definitely worth the experience. Thank you staff-

Chilaquiles Chili Verde - OMG!!!!! This is what eating out is all about!!!!

Once again, they've hit a HOME RUN: we had Chilaquiles Chili Verde and Wedge Salad. They make their chili verde weekly! Exquisite! They must make their Bleue Cheese dressing! Amazing! THEY MAKE THEIR TORTILLA CHIPS!!! Everything is PERFECT! The cheese, the avocados perfectly sliced and placed on top of two fried eggs! WOW! The edge salad not only looks gorgeous, it tastes SO SCRUMPTIOUS, it's hard to believe such a restaurant exists!!! The staff are incredible - friendly, warm and welcoming. Wonderful ambience and atmosphere! TWENTY STAR EATERY!!!! Seriously - thank you so very, very much!

Great coffee and I love the reminder!

Having grown up near, and making regular trips to, Mexico (as well as having had lots of good…read moreauthentic home-cooked Mexican food), I am very picky about Mexican food and its authenticity. NOT Tex-Mex. NOT Americanized Mexico City-style with every burrito smothered. No queso, no ground beef, no crunchy tacos, etc. I had almost given up on finding good authentic Mexican food in my area on the Oregon coast. Then I tried Angelina's (at the time, under a different name but the quality has stayed the same), and I have never looked back. Every time I have to go to Coos Bay/North Bend, this is where I stop. Their carnitas is hands down the best I've had in years. Service is fast, the person at the counter always friendly and quick, and despite my Celiac disease I have never gotten sick after having eaten there. Prices are good also. Due to my Celiac disease, I can't have the burritos anymore, but I used to get them regularly and they do them right. Not filled with rice, beans, lettuce (although they will make it that way if you want it)- just meat, pico de gallo, guacamole, and deftly wrapped for portability.

Again this is a five star hole in the wall gem! I was referred by another yelper who knows the…read moremeaning of real Mexican food. This is just like you get in LA or below. My wife and I both had the carnitas tacos, the smells the taste brought me back to LA and what you get there. They have all the good stuff including lengua, tripe and menudo on Saturdays. I want to try the fish tacos next. I was amazed at the size of the regular taco, you can barely pick it up and stuffed with meat. As many others have indicated don't forget the red sauce as this compliments the dish. I Will highly recommend this place ( a former gas station) but this is where you find the good stuff! We are loyal customers now.
