One of the best places for sandwiches and salads in the area. Lindsay's Italian sandwich is one of my favorites.

When I travel, I plan ahead. I'm a sandwich guy and I don't want to be stuck eating Subway or something worse when driving through- on a recent trip down the coast, we stopped here. The deli meats were great. This was my first time and you should know what kind of bread, how big the roll is before ordering. That would be my only complaint, because the French sandwich roll was so big and crunchy on the outside, that it made it hard to eat. I really enjoyed the flavor and the quality of meat. So glad I stopped here today for lunch. I have been looking for a spot like this since I moved to the Oregon Coast 10 years ago. Best Sammy I've had in a very long time. I sat in my car and inhaled the hot Roast Beef. I can't explain it, it was delicious and you will have to experience it for yourself. Stopped by on a Tuesday, place was crowded and parking is limited. Inside there is a lot of options for drinks and snacks to go with your sandwiches. Ordered the turkey on wheat with pepper jack and mayo/mustard, oil and vinegar, salt and pepper. Great flavor. Regret not getting the avocado. Service was quick considering the crowd. If you're looking for a tasty sandwich in Coos Bay that is made fresh as you wait go here. It's a little market/convenience store that has a deli sandwich option from 10 o'clock until 3 o'clock in the afternoon. When you go in the middle of the market there are a couple of barrels with menus on (and pens) you check want and then put it in the metal tray upside down on the nearby counter They call you when your sandwich is ready. The sandwiches I think are reasonably priced and rather tasty. Attached is a picture of one of the menus. It should be noted. There are three separate menus one for the sandwiches that are posted up on the wall, one for salads, and one for a build your own sandwich. I had a couple of sandwiches and a salad when I was there, and I was very satisfied with both. For Coos Bay, this is really a good place. read more

What a bustling place! Had a unique visit and tried the chicken quesadilla. It arrived promptly, smelled delicious, and came with salsa and sour cream. I've been in Oregon for 3 years. FIRST of all.... the tri-tip sandwich here with either BBQ sauce or Horseradish Aioli with the French roll kicks Subway's steak & cheese in the a**!! I could eat it everyday, forever. Some days, they don't have tri-tip. Their other sandwiches are just as satisfying, like the Pastrami Tsunami, so much flavor. Here, the menu of stock sammies is plenty & you can customize your own creation. Listen, do your whole life a favor, pick your game up, & get away from that cookie cutter McDonald's weak menu and step into DELICIOUSNESS. I promise you you'll be happy. SECOND, Subways label their disgruntled employees as Sandwich Artists. One, the art is only as good what you're working with & two, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Bungalow always has drinks/chips that other places don't. The sandwiches are always amazing but don't expect the ladies working to be kind to you. When they're busy, their attitudes are nasty. It's usually real busy during lunch time so be prepared to hang out for a bit! read more

I've lived in Coos Bay for 15 months and every sandwich shop we've tried wasn't as good as our old favorite, Jersey Mike's. Then my friend Jayce told me about Bungalow Market so we gave it a try and were very impressed. I had pastrami on a French roll and the meat was delicious and piled high. The vegetables were fresh and crispy and the roll was soft. The sandwich was so good, I went outside, gobbled it up, then ordered a second sandwich to take home. I also got a large fountain drink for $0.99, which is a great price. I didn't get the guys name but he was moving. He made the sandwiches and cashiered for anyone buying from the market. He was fast, accurate and super patient. We are so happy to find this place and it will be our go to sandwich shop from now on. Next trip, I'm gonna try the Lindsey Italian. read more

Beat sandwich in memory! They have homemade bread and load it with whatever you want. Absolutely delicious :-) This place is nestled in a neighborhood at the top of a hill. This market is home to the best "build your own sandwiches" on the Coast of Oregon. They have many different options for bread, all the veggies and sauce and any kind of meat you could ask for. This small market makes some tasty sandwiches. On Wed they have Reubens and on Fri they have Tri~Tip on ciabiatta bread with a great tomato relish. The breads are locally made and the ingredients are great. read more

This place has had a bad rap in the past years. On one of my last visits down I noticed they really fixed this place up. They completely repainted and remodeled, and it looks good. It's a smaller market that's off the beaten path, yet convenient to all those who live in that Sherman Ave area. They have an OK selection of beverages and snacks, perhaps a bit more variety would bump them up to 4 stars, but we need that day to come first. I still pass them up to stop at Ashworth's, but all in all, it's not a terrible mom and pop stop. read more
