Little golf course delight! After having arrived at our destination at the Bandon golf resort after a long and grueling drive, we needed a food place near our hotel. We were staying at the Inn which is within the larger Bandon golf complex. All we were looking for was a place to eat decent food, but we got much more! The curry was very delicious with its assortment of vegetables and protein. The teriyaki had a flavor to it that called for more bites. The Salmon avocado roll also was incredibly refreshing with its generous portions of the salmon and avocados. The servers were exceptionally friendly, and they helped us get oriented at the golf course. They told us about the Old Macdonald golf course, and how there are shuttles that can get us there and everything. Such a lovely restaurant staff! The vibe is nothing remarkable, but the outdoor patio facing the beautiful golf course is something out of a picture book. Highly recommend when you are at the resort! Definitely worth the shuttle ride and checking out the food here. read more

We stopped here after a round of golf on Bandon Trails. With views of the course and ocean, we enjoyed the outdoor seating. An Asian inspired menu allowed us to choose Mars roll for our snack with edamame. Both were healthy, tasty, and a perfect amount to share. Service was excellent. We even asked our server to help us change our dinner reservation (phone coverage is not very good on the courses) and she was quite helpful in the process. So nice. Great stop. read more

I ate here twice today (12/27/25) so obviously I like Trails End!! For lunch I had miso soup, green salad and a bowl of rice. Miso soup was piping hot, salty and delicious! Exactly what I wanted. Rice was nothing special (could have been hotter and stickier IMO). The salad was pretty basic (I ordered mine without the mushrooms) but it was also exactly what I was in the mood for. They have three choices of dressing: carrot wafu, creamy sesame and miso ginger. I tried the first two and only ended up using the carrot wafu (I wish I would have tried the miso ginger). The creamy sesame I expected to be sweeter, like other sesame dressings I've had. So, I didn't enjoy that one very much. When I went back for dinner with my BF he started with the spicy tuna roll, which he didn't really enjoy (said it tasted like it wasn't made to order). So, that item was a disappointment. Everything else was good! Tempura order was huge and the dipping sauce was excellent. The flavor/glaze on the short ribs was outstanding (I wish it came with more). The ribs were a little fatty, but that's to be expected with that cut of meat. Cucumber salad was okay... cucumbers we good, serving size was generous but they were spicier than I expected and lacked vinegar and salt. 5 stars for Trails End because service was so good! I had Johanna at lunch and Brian at dinner. They were both super friendly and on top of it! All of the staff seemed to help each other out (clearing plates, running food, etc.). Great sit-down à la carte breakfast spot. The yogurt parfait was a staple for us as a light option but the chicken and waffles were incredible as a heavier option (so good I unfortunately forgot to snap a picture). Service was quick as with every restaurant on property. read more

For those prospective diners who are not golfers, like me, you might miss the not-subtle reference that this small restaurant overlooks the 18th hole of a golf course, meaning that it is basically a clubhouse full of men coming in after their game and shouting loudly about their performances, and I do mean LOUDLY. That said, the staff are wonderfully courteous and friendly, and the food is pretty good. I came here while visiting the area, having found it a challenge to get a vegetarian meal in Bandon. I had the shoyu ramen, and the noodles were freshly made and chewy. Pretty satisfying; I saw many bowls of different ramen dishes being served. The wine prices were quite high. It appeared most were in the $80-120 range, which is nothing to resort guests paying $900-1,000 per night for lodging. But we found a nice rose of pinot noir for $44. I would go back again, but for lunch instead of dinner, and especially on a warm day when the outdoor seating is available. read more

Funny thing about eating lunch here was that it had the best food but the worst service. After waiting 5+ minutes in an empty restaurant, I went to the counter and ordered my sandwich. The waitress later apoligized and said she did not see me. I'm not sure how in an empty restaurant and sitting by a window in the middle. The sandwich and generous helping of fries really hit the spot. read more
