Such a cute spot out in Waldport! My partner and I visited around noon on Saturday expecting them to have a limited selection but we were pleasantly surprised to be met with a wide range of pastries and bread options. Ordered an olive sourdough that had a delicious crunchy crust and soft tender interior with the perfect hint of olive throughout. The sourdough is not especially sour but still decisions. Ordered a few pastries that were also delicious! Service and the line move quickly. Lots of street parking with a few lot spaces in front. Our pro tip is to drive down the street toward the marina and grab a picnic table and enjoy your pastries on the bay

We finally made it to this awesome hole in a wall bakery. We were not disappointed. They have limited hours, and we always seemed to come by when closed. There was a line to get in. We got a couple loafs. I did not realize they had more good stuff than the bread. My diet and minimal will power kept me in check. The family loved the bread. I'd definitely recommend.

This women-owned business makes Waldport a must try on the Oregon Coast. Always a line, but moves fast, these ladies have it all. Ever since they started, I've been a fan. Have a family place just south on the 101, and we always stop, and I mean every day they are open. The sourdough, the Swedish bread and the olive are the favs. I don't mean this as a bad thing, but it's so cheap for the best bread you've ever had!!! I mean, if you have 3$, life-changing! Get a clue, and order ahead! Last time they were out of Olive on Saturday, and we almost cried!

This Bakery is one of the best on the Oregon Coast. I've tried pretty much all of them, with exception of any new ones that have come about within the prior year. The bread is my favorite (Toasted Onion is my very favorite of the breads). They have Boules, Bartards, and Baguettes, Focaccia, Sandwhich Breads, Raison Cinnomon, as well as super popular Sourdough Pretzel Rolls...YUM. The sweets are a whole new game. Many, Many to choose from. Choclate Tortines, Carrot Cakes, German Choclate Cake, Cheese Cakes, Basque Cheese Cake, Scones. Lots of Cookies and Pastries to choose from. Savory items - Kanish, Bakers Lunch (cream cheese, spinich, wrapped up with a pastry), Double Onion Scones, Jalapeno Cheese Scone, Quiche (one of the best I've had), French Sandwhiches, Boursin Cheese to go with your Baguette, So so much more!!!!! I can't say enough, it's fantastic! The pictures do not do justice. It's loaded with selections! The staff is the most helpful, kindest you will find. Wonderful Bakery all the way around.

Finally they are open again after the winter. We went there and got another big box! Everything looks good and delicious, you will end up buying a lot of food lol. There is always a big line when they open.

Teeny space but FULL of deliciousness!

The. YUMMIEST!! If you can make it when they're open (only a few days per week & short hours), it is SO worth the trip! Waited in line about half an hour at opening yesterday (Thursday)--met some lovely people & an employee even brought out sample trays of their chocolate chunk cookies! The ladies working so hard inside had smiles, patience and kind words for all. This bakery is absolutely the best!! No way was it possible to decide on just one treat, so walked out of there with pretzel sourdough, ciabatta, bourbon bar, molasses cookie, chocolate chunk cookie, apple streusel cake & Jamaican coffee cake slices, toffee, and brownie swirl! After sampling each one, all are spectacularly delectable! Highly recommend!

Come for breakfast, but take treats for the afternoon!

This is a must visit bakery in the little town of Waldport. They have limited hours, but are well stocked and are a well oiled machine of service. So many favorites to list. The line can be long, so get there early.

Recommend by the lady at the Alsea Bay Bridge Interpretive center. We couldn't resist! Friendly and very patient service (I took a while to decide). Gorgeous baked goods that were a delightful experience. Bakery was clean and welcoming.

Pic of our yummy goodies

Line went quick and a ton of variety of baked goods. Great prices also. Everyone got goodies they loved. Great bakery to check out in town. Will definitely stop there again.

Great cheesecakes, but sourdough bread so hard the crows wouldn't eat it. Not sure what all the high reviews are for.

After coming down the coast to visit Newport, we were looking for a good brunch spot along the way…read more We visited the Hilltop Cafe Bistro, and may I say, what a great experience! If you're from the Portland metro area and visit the coast, this is a nice place to try out. The portions were generous. The pancake order comes with four, and they are BIG. The potatoes were cooked with onion, which gives them a nice taste. The bacon also had a great texture; usually, when you try new diners, the bacon tends to be more squishy. If you're not a fan of that, then this bacon is for you!The biggest surprise was their sourdough toast. It had a crunchy crust, a fluffy inside, and great taste--you can definitely tell it's made from scratch every day! Overall, the staff was great. One thing to keep in mind is that there isn't much room; I'd say it holds about 40 to 50 people. Most dishes are around the $15-$20 mark, but for the generous portions and great taste, Hilltop Cafe Bistro is a 9.1/10!

Service was friendly and we got our food pretty quickly. I liked my spinach salad. It was huge so I grabbed a to go box for the rest. This is right on the main road and it can be a little tricky to leave the parking lot and when it is busy I suspect it is hard to get a parking spot here. They have a lot of tasty sounding menu items so I would definitely consider trying this place again when I'm next in the area.

It's pretty small inside and definitely has an antique shop feel. There's lots of different styles and things around. There are a few small tables scattered throughout. The lady at the front was very kind and happy to walk us through their options. They have one small case that's mostly savory and one small case that's sweets with a tiny truffle case on the counter. I think the move here is the cinnamon roll, but when we arrived they were still baking, which meant it smelled delightful, but were weren't able to try one. We ended up trying the breakfast muffin, which was really unique. It's a muffin with cheese and spinach baked in, along with an entire strip of bacon just under the surface, and an entire egg baked in the middle. It was good, but I'm not sure I would order it again. I'm not usually a scone fan, I prefer a muffin, but their scones looked good. We tried the blueberry lemon and the cranberry orange. They were both really flavorful with a good texture, not super dry. The blueberry edged out the cranberry for me because the blueberries were fresh, whereas the cranberry were dried. This is a cute small shop, clearly making everything from scratch with passion. I'd stop back in for a cinnamon roll for sure!

We were greeted immediately when we walked in. I ordered an Italian soda with peach and strawberry and my friend ordered a cappuccino. My drink was great! It was creamy and fresh tasting. It was made with syrup but it was still so good and refreshing after a long day with lots of walking. They have some housemade treats too, which I've had before and they were good. Since we got there so late in the day they didn't have much available, but last time I got a delicious peanut butter bar that blew me away. The staff were all very friendly and seemed happy. There is a small space with tables inside and a cute little garden outside with a few more tables. The prices were reasonable, about on-par for a tourist town. They have a small parking lot and there is plenty of street parking. The building is a bit hidden so it can be hard to spot if you're on foot but they put signs out when they're open to help people to find. They close at 3pm so you have time on the way home from whatever day's activities you were doing, to pick up some dessert for an after dinner treat. My Petite Sweet is a great stop for quick, sweet or savory ready-to-eat breakfast items. The employees will ask you if you want your items warmed up and are more than happy to do that for you. There are several tables and chairs available if you wish to enjoy your items on-site... ...but THIS is where My Petite Sweet SHINES ABSOLUTELY ABOVE-THE-REST: Upon entering, you will be greeted by a HUMONGOUS refrigerated case that is remeniscent to me of the magic and excitement I felt as a child imagining finding the "Golden Ticket" and touring "Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory!
