Everywhere you look, classics....

We were exploring the area south of Lincoln City, and thankfully this Baykery showed up in our search results. It's not really visible from the road, but is conveniently located in the Salishan shopping center. The display cases are full of things designed to make your decisions difficult - lots of classics - cake donuts, fritters, large cookies, even larger cookies, you name it. One thing I did not notice was prices being posted, but my wife and I were both pleasantly surprised with how reasonable the total came to for our haul. They had a pleasant looking seating area near the entry door, but I'm happy to suggest the parking lot of the Alder Island Trailhead just a mile or so north. Munching on baked goods while watching birds coming and going is a great way to spend time.

This places offers donuts, pastries, cookies.. you name it. I don't know if I just showed up too late, but I wish there was more of a selection on bread. They only had sourdough garlic but I just wanted regular sourdough. I was intrigued by the sweet offerings and got their Marionberry cream puff just because it looked and sounded so unique. Oh my gosh, this thing was soo good. There was a little bit of chocolate inside, which made it next level. I would come back just for that cream puff. It was such an experience. It was a little pricier than I would like, but it is worth it. I feel like there is something here for everyone.

Stopped in here to check it out and left with a fritter and a cookie. Both were delicious (though I regret not microwaving the cookie for 10 seconds). I stopped in only about 10 minutes before they closed so there was only one person working, but she was very nice and made sure I knew what ingredients were in what I was buying. Happy to say that I will be dropping in again during my next visit here--though my waistline may not be as happy about that.

I used Depoe bakery for a coastal wedding. They were helpful. They made mixed up my date, but were really helpful and flexible. I ordered two quiche from them and they were very tasty! The pastries are fluffy and oversized. They tasted good. Definitely not a rustic artisan bakery, but they were pretty and tasted good.

Yum! Depoe Baykery is a great stop to grab some donuts! We loved the maple Persian and the cinnamon sugar twist. We did wish there was a little more frosting as the donuts were bready and a little more frosting would have balanced that out. I would also recommend coming early as they were sold out of several Flavors at 10:30am. We will definitely be back and look forward to trying other offerings.

Always in point!! Glad to have a bakery down the street from home, we typically have a old fashion donut & jalapeño sour bread always fresh! Service is great theirs always a nice greeting, it's low key! Theirs couches & tables outside were you Can enjoy coffee and donut or just go for a cruise a your donut on a view! My favorite are the old fashion donuts & their cheese cake pie tray that is extra creamy must try!

We grabbed 2 of the huge, filled pastries this weekend to share - blueberry/cream cheese and cherry/cream cheese. They were fluffy and soft with nice fruit flavor, yet not sickening sweet. We really couldn't decide which flavor we liked more. To me the taste was like a cross between a danish and a donut. The place is cute, tucked back into the little mall...the only business there open early that morning. They have some inside seating, and a decent selection of goodies on display. The employee working the counter that morning wasn't the absolute best at answering my questions and describing the treats, but she was friendly. I would definitely stop by again sometime to try another treat.

Fresh donuts including: Marionberry Bear Claw, Apple pie turnover, donuts.

Service was fast and friendly, loved the music and atmosphere, rustic beach vibe with very clean store. The glaze is perfect not too sweet, but enough to make you crave more, the marrionberry filling it's perfectly tart and sweet, the donuts soft and delicious!

Yum!! We had been excited to try the bakery, they are closed Mondays and Tuesday, so we made sure to go on Wednesday. We ordered the monthly muffin, which was Strawberry and chocolate chip, and a Buttermilk Cruller. Both were delicious!

First time here for me. For all the hype, it was pretty good. Staff was very kind, welcoming and helpful. We didn't get there too late on a Sunday morning (10:30) and nearly everything was sold out. I really wanted their Marionberry Fritter but it was gone so had the Apple fritter which was pretty tasty. Also picked up a croissant so I can make a breakfast sandwich the next day with it.

Let me just start by saying how inviting the staff and owner were. Amazing greeting. Now for fun part... If you are on the Pacific Coast Highway, make this a priority. Fantabulous artistry on these baked goods. Fresh and soft yet gently crispy. Such airy donuts. I just might go back tomorrow. Don't judge me.

We stayed at the Salishan Resort and did not expect to find many places with good food, cocktails, or awesome bakery items. But then again, my boyfriend is very good at finding local eateries. He found the Depoe Baykery randomly, so we decided to stop in on the morning we checked out. My first impression was that the bakery was very simple and didn't have much in the way of decoration. However, they did have a variety of good looking bakery goods. The woman before us ordered 12 maple bars among other items so I was also inspired to try one. We weren't trying to order too much, but I couldn't resist trying a 1/2 chocolate and 1/2 maple bar because the maple frosting was white (not brown). My boyfriend ordered a Marion berry bear claw. After buying our donuts, we sat outside and ate them with some coffee. I was impressed with the maple bar because it tasted like real maple and was not overly sweet. The dough had a nice chewy texture as well. The bear claw was good because the Marion berry filling was not sugary and must have been house-made. Overall, I really liked the Depoe Baykery and I will definitely be ordering more maple bars next time.

Meh. Nothing special that's for sure. Fritters are way too much like cake and not a single piece of fruit in either the strawberry or apple.

Does this place have a bathroom?

We don't have one in our building but now that were in our new location there is a public restroom in the Salishan marketplace where were located.

The earthquake cake was fabulous; it was not a soft cake, it was very dense and full of rich chocolate, cream cheese and chocolate chips . It was extremely filling. The two women who helped us were very polite and very patient as we took forever to choose from their delicious options. They had a massive selection of treats. A true sweet-treat paradise. The ambiance reminds me of the old candy shops I would go to on the Oregon coast, which brought back fond memories. It would be helpful if, instead of a large sign that said 'bakery,' it had the business name. Nonetheless, this place was great, and we will definitely be back.

I had made my mind up as soon as I saw the selections in the case: one of everything. Problem with that is... there's a lot to choose from. And worse than that? I went there in pumpkin season. How am I supposed to decide when there is a selection, and then next to it was the pumpkin version of it. (Except pig in a blanket, but maybe next year? Maybe they were sold out??) So yeah, everything in there looks fantastic but I can't have one of everything (I could, but like I said before, that would check the box next to deceased for me). I got a "slice" of coffee cake. And a cupcake. I had to eat the cupcake on my walk back to the lovely hotel up the road so that my wife would think I was reasonable and only got coffee cake. My wife doesn't like pumpkin stuff the way I do, and buddy, she loved this pumpkin coffee cake. Great place, heat a room near the beach and walk over here, amazing little shop with a feel like a deli you'd see in a movie but it's a bakery. As I left I heard a voice from further back in the kitchen thank me for coming in and I knew that voice came from the grim reaper... Maybe next time, pal
