When I first arrived I noticed how packed it was. They were extremely busy, but still efficient. I was greeted right away and service was top notch from taking my order to delivering my food and drinks. As I waited I walked around and checked out the place. It's a cute and cozy coffee shop. Of corse coffee is great all the usuals, pumpkin spice latte etc. You've got to try the lunch food! Even the breakfast sandwiches! Soup and salads - all great for a light lunch. Chicken salad was my favorite. Not too much mayonnaise! Rhee is a homey feel about the place. Old JC photos and books.. you'll love the amount of tables and seating. Great little café right in the heart of downtown Junction City. Has a nice decor and free WiFi. If they have it, they'll make it for you with a smile on their faces. I always order the same thing and the food is always fresh and doesn't appear to be more than a day old. They're open Monday through Saturday. Closed on Sunday's. It's not very accessible for handicapped people unless you get out from wherever you parked(free street parking) and walk to the nearest intersection and walk up the sidewalk, otherwise you have to step up over the curb to get on the sidewalk. There is a free parking lot on 5th and Greenwood, so if you're in a wheelchair you can park there and walk up to 6th and Greenwood and cross there. read more

There are a few tables out front,but I would love if they put up umbrellas because man that sun can get hot! I've been here twice with pups so I couldn't sit inside or leave the dogs in the car. I always get iced americano and my hubby got a London fog which he said was good. We've only eaten bagels here but they do have other breakfast and lunch options that we might try the next time we're in Junction City. Overall it's a nice coffee shop. They were pretty slow on service with no sense of urgency from staff, but the coffee and food are great. The espresso is amazing. They have a cute interior, and a good amount of seating. The staff were nice. The breakfast burrito was good, but it is 12 dollars and smaller than I was expecting. I'd definitely come back for the coffee. read more

What a cute place! Everyone was really nice. It was my first time in on our way to Brigadoon Winery and we stopped in to grab lunch to go. The server explained some things on the menu and I decided on the goat cheese and cranberry salad and the Turkey and cranberry sandwich. Both were tasty and felt healthy. Maybe a bigger container for salad dressing and although the Turkey was good, having roasted Turkey instead of deli would really elevate it. I'm coming back to try out the other options. What an awesome and amazing coffee bar! A friend took me here for lunch. I ha e seen it but have never been in. It's a quaint little coffee bar that I can picture slam poetry being held at on Friday nights. The menu is pretty good, quite a few options as far as lunch goes. I ordered tge jalapeños popper sandwich. And an eggnog cappuccino. The seating is interesting. There are a few traditional tables like you'd expect, then couches with tables. This is where we sat. The couch wasn't soft by any means, but I wasn't expecting soft enough to fall asleep. Just a little softer would have been nice. But, it isn't a deal breaker for me. I just know that they are hard. The decor is like what I would expect from a coffee bar; plenty of art, from what I am assuming, is a local artist as somewhere for sale. The food arrived pretty quickly. The sandwich looked delicious. The cappuccino was also delivered, and one taste I was in heaven. Now, my sandwich was interesting, to say the least. It had bacon, cream cheese, and peppers on it. I took my first bite and and though it tasted delicious, the bacon seemed to have been barely cooked. What a disappointment. I get people eat their bacon like this, just not my thing. I would like to make clear, the sandwich was extremely delicious, just not how I like my bacon cooked. Overall, I had a great time, the service was above par and the food was great! Nice little gem in Junction City. Lots of space to gather with friends or do some work. Had a drip coffee that was flavorful and had depth.

The service was good, the baristas were kind, the ambiance was clean and on point; cute, cozy, rustic coffee shop. I ordered a vanilla latte and I was disappointed in the espresso and didn't taste much like vanilla. The breakfast menu is about what you'd expect from a coffee shop, but the croissant sandwich didn't taste very fresh and the yogurt parfait was a bit too plain. I had a crantastic turkey sandwich, a cup of tomato gorgonzola soup, and a gorgolzola walnut side salad with an iced creme brulee latte. What an absolute treat! A charming shop in downtown Junction City. Very pleasant staff and a comfortable atmosphere. The lunch I had was amazing. I had the Hillbilly Panini with a cup of the soup of the day. The panini was mesa with sourdough bread and tasted amazing. The pumpkin curry soup was so lively with flavor. I'm one of those creative types who needs a very special and particular environment to get any sort of writing done. Max Porter's meets these needs inside and out. It's a quaint local coffee shop on the cute little main drag through a cute little town in the Willamette Valley. They have brick walls, bookcases, and comfy sofas inside as well as a sheltered seating area outside. Plus their staff is full of amicable and jovial baristas who are always eager and pleasant to work with. They also provide great coffee and tea as well as scrumptious sandwiches and soup. There's a reason I spend hours at Max Porter's. Make sure you pay attention to their hours, though! They're closed on Sundays and shut down at 3 on Saturdays. read more

There was nothing I didn't like about this place. There is a coffee shop I used to frequent in Michigan before it closed in 2012. It feels like I have found it's doppelgänger here in Junction City. The food is excellent, the Chai was spicy and creamy, and the ambiance is relaxed and chill. The staff is super friendly and helpful, and this will be a must stop when I come back to visit my folks. Max Porter's is a treasure! It's unexpected and incredibly charming! The interior is friendly and welcoming and provides the perfect environment for writing groups to meet, friends to catch up over lunch, and chill over WiFi while sipping some coffee and pastries. I live in West Eugene and was looking for a place to chill on a Friday afternoon so I could write for a while. Junction City didn't seem far and I figured I'd give it a shot and I am so glad I did!
