A coffee shop treasure hidden in the lobby of a downtown Eugene office building. This attractive and very comfortable hideaway offers a nice variety of excellent coffee beverages and pastries. A great quiet place to relax and meet. Well worth looking for.

So cute, so good! I just got a small drip but it was great, not burnt or acidic like so many places I've had coffee from lately. The folks working there were really nice too. The breakfast sandwich was really good, made fresh & hot. I don't really like croissants but I enjoyed this anyway, which is saying something.

Cute new coffee spot in Eugene! My esthetician is in this space and found it to be handy to grab my go to Americano. This space has cute indoor seating. Also with the lovely Summer weather, they do have outdoor seating. I enjoyed the style and art on display. Friendly service and when I am in the area, I'll stop in to grab a coffee.

Love to work from this place. Good music, comfy seating, and great staff. Not a lot of people know about this place so its always mellow.

Some of the best coffee in Eugene! Friendly staff and great decor! My only wish is that they would be open on weekends.

Went to the goth night (ghost something?) tonight and it was a blast. The bar is gothic style too…read moreso it's marvelous. I heard it's usually an alternative / low key queer bar, more like mixed to me, which is nice. I know they recently made a change about free events turning into free with a drink purchase, which is reasonable! I've been low to no income, to where $10 is a splurge for me. I never got to go to a free event, but if I can't afford it I just don't go! Gotta keep the lights on, and $5 for a goth night was perfect for me. I had so much fun, the music was sweet and the outdoor area was nice too. The dance floor is small- kinda as big as their bathroom- but very accommodating, everyone seemed to have space to do their own thing. The one thing that did puzzle me is that they had a sign on the bathroom that said woman and then said it was all genders. I feel like maybe just taking the woman sign off would be simple enough. The message seems to just be "no urinal". The bathrooms are clean and plenty of stalls though!! I can't say anything about the drinks or food this time around, just the vibes which are great :) Lots of variety of events here, I'm sure I'll be back!

Some of the other reviews were negative on their food...but our food was fantastic. The burgers were moist and not greasy. The waffle cut fries were hot and crispy. The bartenders work non stop to get your drinks and food out quickly. My daughter loved the churro style donuts (but they are messy). The decor is a D&D dive bar scene....so many things to look at as you wait for bingo to start. They just changed the rules and you do have to pay $1.00 per person to play bingo...but where else can you get that type of entertainment for a dollar. We can't wait to return.

We had spent nearly…read moreeverything we had to make the move, and my husband immediately had to start traveling for his new job. On our first morning in our new town, we went to The Original Pancake House for breakfast. It was a simple meal, but one we were grateful we could afford. When we asked for the check, our server smiled and told us someone had already paid for it. That small act of kindness made me feel like I truly belonged in our new home. It reminded me that even in an unfamiliar place, there were good people who cared about others. Since that day, every time we visit The Original Pancake House, we make it a point to pay it forward whenever we can. It's our way of honoring the kindness that meant so much to us and has stuck with me. Beyond the beautiful memory, the food is incredible. It's hands down the best breakfast I've ever had. Comfort food that tastes like it's made with love. You must try the Dutch baby! The ladies who work there are always so warm and welcoming, making every visit feel like coming home. Some restaurants serve great food. This one gave my family hope when we needed it most, and I'll never forget that.

Pancakes so golden, yet sitting too long-- They lost all…read moretheir heat and didn't quite belong! The Original Pancake House in Eugene is a charming, family-friendly spot with genuine warmth and stellar coffee. The casual, lively vibe makes it feel like the proper brunch destination you'd hope for from a legendary breakfast joint. We ordered their hero dish--a side of buttermilk pancakes--and the Irish Omelette. The pancakes delivered real flavor: fluffy, tender, with classic buttermilk tang. My only critique? They arrived cool, likely from sitting in the warmth window a bit too long. Off the griddle, these would shine. The Irish Omelette was more disappointing. Designed to be airy and light with corned beef and potatoes inside, ours was overcooked and rubbery--far from the delightful, pillowy texture it should be. For a restaurant with this history, execution should be consistent. The coffee and service were warm and attentive, which goes a long way. 3/5 stars. Worth visiting for atmosphere, especially if your pancakes arrive hot. Try during slower service to avoid the window-sit fate. The Portland location executes at a higher level.
