Advertisement falsely claiming that nothing is shipped, but "made in Oregon" locally

For a store called "Made In Oregon" with advertising announcing that everything is made locally, there are a lot of products that say "MADE IN CHINA" (eg Silipint, Hydroflask, and several others) on the bottom... I asked the employee and got a less-than-friendly "well, if you don't like it don't buy it!" ‍ That is false advertising

If you are in Eugene and wanting to buy any souvenirs made in Oregon, this is your place. It's in a shopping plaza near downtown. There is a huge street level lot with free 3 hour parking west of the plaza so it is easy access. The store has food, snacks, clothing, home decor, bath and body, books, and even garden decor. Anything and everything that may catch your eye. The items are of high quality and made in places all over the state which warms my heart. I bought about 200$ worth of treats, clothing, and trinkets that will keep the memory of my trip alive until my next trip. The store does have a website in case you didn't find exactly what you were looking for in the store. There were two female employees working who were a little less than helpful during my shopping trip. The store was neatly organized- not too much product to make it crowded, but enough items to be able to find something that was on your list.

So stopping at Bree's Way, which is a new-to-me store (I'm not sure it was here even four years ago when I came home to visit) was a must stop. The woman there was really friendly, but they didn't have anything that called to me. Their jewelry selection was ok but limited; mostly rings and some pendants. They sell some chains for the pendants. They also have a lot of the standard Tarot decks, some esoteric and occult-related merchandise, posters, crystals, and so on. Parking was not bad for me when I visited, but there's not a lot of parking on Alder here. And if you don't know how to parallel park, probably best to avoid parking on the street. There's a parking lot about a block and a half down the street.

The selection of rings was large, very beautiful pieces, and cool descriptions of the many different crystals displayed. Cool selection of posters, candles, teas, and tapestries. It was very cool they had a tarot deck out that you could use..we had fun with this. The woman working was very friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back when we're in the area

Hiron's uses the same principle as dense urban areas: when real estate is limited, build vertically! The place it quite literally floor-to-ceiling with gifts, merch, sundries, goodies, and sooooo much more. The only minor knock is the 'organization' can be a touch shaky, but hey, throw in friendly service and that lack of sales tax in Oregon (I'm not local and love that) and WHAM! winner of a place. One of my wife's fave takeaways from a visit to see our Duck is a T-shirt from Hiron's; she always gets complements on it! You're on your own with parking since Safeway shares the lot and it can be like playing Frogger getting to the door (with you as the frog). Prices are fair and match the value, but if you need UO with a swoosh....then you can overspend elsewhere. I have never left Hiron's with less than five items, including my very first visit when I dropped my Duck off three years ago. They have the things I want, the things I didn't know I wanted, and tons of things to browse through and call my own.
