You can browse and do your own thing. my favorite part is, you can bring your dog in, so long as they're behaved, etc. the market has a homey feel, and I would much rather go here than give my money to a chain convenience store filled with throw up and pee outside that I would be too afraid to even leave my dog in the car at while i go inside. This place has everything, a fresh deli area, and ice cream dispenser thing, Kratom, vape, pens, dairy, beer, and things that are nostalgic that you don't really just see everywhere else The prices are the same as any other convenience, store or big chain convenience store, they might be a little cheaper here actually. If you are a cigarette smoker, definitely come here because you will get at least $1.50 off two packs of cigarettes if you enter your phone number each time you come in. read more

The options are prices are good. I like the location and it is easy to access. The energy and cleanliness is good. The biggest issue I have had here is the man behind the counter. He is consistently rude to me, follows myself and people with me around the store, and argues about payment requests (separate transactions). It always sours my experience when he just stares at me and doesn't say anything. read more

Convenient to my mom's house since it's only about three blocks away. It's got just about anything you're going to a mini mart for. The guy behind the counter was friendly, and offered me scratchers for the scratch-offs that I bought--I didn't even know that was a thing and he let me take a couple, woo hoo! No more searching for coins that I never use to scratch tickets if I buy them. The only complaint I'd have is that since I did go here for lotto tickets, it would have been nice to be able to see them. They had a sample of the top half of the ticket on the counter so you could tell them the number of the ticket you wanted, but the full tickets were below the counter so I couldn't see what they looked like and only ended up buying the ones I am familiar with as a result (I don't like the ones where you just scratch and match a symbol). But that's not a huge deal, and they let me use my card to purchase which some places won't, so that was appreciated. But next time, sell me the billion dollar Powerball ticket, folks!! read more

Their service is absolutely horrible. I went in to get my son a cotton candy milkshake since there icee machine was down. I put the cup in the machine and it wasn't blending right I could tell. So the man at the cash register says the machine doesn't like cotton candy. He didn't come over to help at all and said that I could try again but I will be paying for all of them. Why would I keep trying and keep paying if it isn't working? It wasn't blended at all and it was all stuck to the bottom. So of course I just paid for it. I was obviously upset that he just didn't care to fix the problem it's his store. Anyone would be upset if they had to buy something that wasn't the way they wanted it which I told him. He said he isn't losing out on his money either. Wow is all I can say. read more

Well... I used to go here every week to get my beer and quick necessities. I've spent hundreds, maybe over $1,000 here. About a month ago, I went to pick up a six pack. I was in a rush and never got a receipt. Later on, I was looking over my bank records and realized that I was charged $1 extra for my beer from the store ($11.29 total). The six pack was clearly labeled $9.69 on the shelf, and with .60 deposit, that's $10.29. No problem, I think to myself. Probably an honest mistake. I'll let it go and donate my dollar to my favorite local market. And I forgot about it. The next time I went in, it was a different guy working the counter, and he charged me the correct amount. $10.29. The next time, the same. After that, however, I returned to get some beer and the guy from the first incident was working. I even got a different kind of beer to see if he would do it. Sure enough, he charged me a dollar extra. He wasn't going to give me a receipt, and when I asked for one he grumbled and printed it out for me. I have tried to reach out to the owner tonight to no avail. I will continue my efforts to expose this guy. I don't appreciate you giving yourself a dollar raise every time I come in dude. I gave this place 5 stars because of the costumer service! it was outstanding! The guy that was working was so nice! He went out of his way to help everyone find what they need. He was also cooking food in the little deli and instead of ignoring us he was telling us all the fresh stuff he could make. This seems like a family owned place and have a very home feel to it! Like the maverick Sarah Palin version of Friendly Street Market, Little Y is around for Friendly residents to score a few quick ingredients. We both know what "joe six-pack" is picking up on his way home from elk hunting and it's not a brick of tofu. While the elitists enjoy their kiwi berries and wheat germ at Friendly Street the rest of us can score some Fun-Yuns and a case of Bud Light at Little Y. No health care reform for us thanks! This place is kind like a 7-11, except they have Sportscenter and Blazers games on Comcast. The staff is friendly and Little Y has a little bit of everything: gardening gloves, firelogs, produce and meat. Did it really cost me $5 for a bottle of Corona and a lime though? I'll be here watching B-Roy and the (wobbly) Blazers fight for a playoff spot. read more

I use to come here due to its close proximity. It is pretty similar to most convenience stores I have been to with a wide selection of basic items. Like many convenience stores, the prices can be significantly more than larger grocery stores. Do check the dates on items as I have found several that are very near the expiration date. Also, read the signs before using your credit card. If you need something fast and don't mind paying a little more this is a great little store. read more

For a little neighborhood market, this place gets the job done. They have a deli with different sandwich option but I have not tried it since I don't work in this neighborhood much anymore. They have your normal soda, chip and snack selections and the prices seem pretty standard of a market like this. It's not fancy or organic but it'll do when you are within walking distance or just need to grab something simple. The employees aren't overly friendly but they say hello and I'm usually out of there pretty fast. They have a parking lot with plenty of space. read more

I quite like this little market. They are only a couple blocks from my house so it's very convenient to be able to go there is I just need a couple of things rather than having to drive to a supermarket. They have really good customer service and a surprisingly large selection of products. My only caution is to make sure you check the expiration date on shelf items because they are not very good about rotating stock and I frequently find expired items. read more

I have to give props to the guys working behind the counter here, they're friendly folks, which is more than can be said for some 7/11's and Plaid Pantry's I've been to in the past. For the most part Little Y is a pleasant, well-lit local market with a little bit of everything. Was wary when I found some items that were close to expiration, and even a few that already were. Eeugh... There's also a deli in the corner, run by the owner. This is somewhat more questionable than the store. Of the assorted sandwiches on display in the cooler, I've only delved in a couple times, with mixed results. On the first occasion, I played it pretty safe with a ham & cheddar. It was alright, maybe a bit dry, like it wasn't prepared the same day. The second time, I went with a turkey sandwich. The first thing I noticed off was that the mayo had an odd aftertaste, but the turkey tasted fresh. Later that night, though, I got some serious stomach cramps. Followed that fun up with a visit to the latrine. Could've been something else, but a guy has to wonder about funky mayonnaise. Market: 3/5 - Service is the main highlight. One extra star for that. Deli: 1/5 - Gambling is for casinos, not food. read more

The little y is the convince store that is on my way to and from work. I stop in there 3 to 5 times a week. 2 of the 3 men that I have experienced have been great, they can look through there glazed eyeballs and recognize who I am and we can have a nice interaction. The grey haired man that is never at the counter and always has a piss poor attitude makes me take my money else ware. I have bought cigarettes from him for 5 years. Yet he still asks for my id. When I'm on my way home after a 10 hour day I will not go to my car for my ID. I'm 27 and do not look under 18. Little y is great, but if you see a grey haired man with a vest that is obviously under the influence try back another time. It is a great market except for that guy. read more
