Clean store. Friendly staff that offers free samples. Expensive, of course. But its good candy. So definitely a once in a while kind of treat for a great gift or birthday. read more

I came in here with my husband last week because I love chocolate, and we always stop by when we're at Oakway. We walked in and the employee just kind of watched us. She was wearing a mask, so I presume she wasn't feeling good. She was friendly when we checked out, but the mask made it difficult to hear and understand her, so we had to ask for clarification a couple of times. Because of the mask, we elected to only buy pre-packaged chocolate and nothing fresh, just because we weren't certain how sick the employee was, and I have been sick myself more often lately, and I didn't want to have it happen again. The store is small but always clean and easy to navigate. Would I return? Yes. We've been coming to this location for a number of years, and will continue to do so. It's a nice location that isn't out of the way. Review 15 of 2025 read more

So what do you want to know about each piece of candy here at See's in Eugene, Oregon. You can ask me, I know about every piece. Why? LOL Because I am a regular. I probably shouldn't be, but I go here every single week without fail! I have to do extra Fitbit steps just to recover from over eating certain flavors that are too delicious to put down. They always give you a sample. If there's one you have never tried before...they're so nice here you can actually ask for one specific piece and try it before you buy it. But I can guarantee you that you'll buy more than expected if you do. I have blown my budget here because the girls and guys that work behind the counter take such exceptional delight and being kind and gives great customer service! The manager, is one of the absolute best! I still remember his very first day! That's how long I've been a customer. I love going to See's. It's nostalgic for me. But it's also a treat and it makes me want to work hard and eat right so that I can enjoy good chocolate, not a Sn*cker bar covered in dust that's been sitting in boxes in warehouses before it actually gets to the store where you can purchase it. So if you're going to treat yourself to chocolate, go to See's candy on Coburg Road and you will have a great experience and taste absolute deliciousness! Life's too short...eat See's! read more

See's Candies - Just a tiny amount of my See's lollipop stash! - Candy Stores Near Me - Eugene, Oregon

Going to See's is like visiting an old friend, just about the same as it was when I visited with my mother growing up. The sparkling black and white decor, the beautiful boxes of candy lined up, the clerks in spiffy outfits have made them very memorable. They have a large variety of products, some that rotate seasonally, their Advent Calendars being a special treat. They have a terrific selection of greeting cards and, of course, gift cards. A visit to See's is predictable and not many flashy ads or lights but the candy, its quality and the service are consistently good. Of course, they have me with the free sample when I buy a box for a gift! read more

I love sees candies! They are such a classic nostalgic treat. I sent this assorted box to my parents for their anniversary last minute and it only got there 3 days after which I thought was really impressive. It was 30$ (not including shipping) which isn't terrible for high quality chocolates and considering how much they give you. You can't really go wrong with anything at sees but my families favorite are the scotch mallows. Definitely recommend coming here if you are in need for some gifts especially during the holiday season! read more

See's Candies - Half pound assorted box - Candy Stores Near Me - Eugene, Oregon

I made up a half pound box, the person who filled my order cautioned me about leaving the mint patties in the box so as soon as I got home I took the seal off and removed them. Since they didn't mention the other candy that was primarily chocolate with a small amount of mint I figured those must not be a problem. I'm so sad I trusted them because it spoiled an entire half pound of chocolate. Still edible but not enjoyable. read more

Always a favorite for my mom she loves them and was very happy to receive a box for Christmas

The best chocolate in town, and further if you ask me. Nothing compares. See's quality is unmatched and always consistent year after year. They have tons of options for picking a box or bag yourself. Or if you prefer the prepackaged options they have those ready to go! Chews, nuts, truffles, smaller sizes, larger sizes, lollipops, seasonal packaging, solid chocolates, filled chocolates, jelly candies, and much more! I love picking my own pieces since I know what I like and I'm particular. I love their rich dark chocolate truffles & pieces. They are so yummy! It's a great spot to treat yourself or gift to someone else. They have the old charm with the style and uniforms that makes it feel like you're going back in time visiting a candy shoppe. You can't beat how good it smells in there either! Always friendly staff with a smile on their face and never feel rushed while looking through the counter at all their options. read more

On our way to someplace else, my granddaughter in the back seat asked me to take a right turn and lo and behold, this is where we ended up. Apparently, she's been here before and knew just what she wanted and just how to guide me here. I'm not a candy kinda person so I listened as she described her favorites to the lady behind the counter. While the store was was empty, just having opened, the lady behind the counter took her time, listened and kindly helped my granddaughter make her selections. I'll give it 5 stars, for the helpfulness of the employee, the cleanliness of the store and the many available choices. Free parking right out front. read more

See's Candies - Life is full of choices - Candy Stores Near Me - Eugene, Oregon

Only one time did receive anything less than stellar service at sees candies. To be fair it was a couple weeks before Xmas and they didn't have the size of peanut brittle I wanted and the guy made some comment like what do you expect this close to xmas? I expect you to anticipate an uptick in sales and order accordingly. Still giving five stars cause he wasn't wrong. I was just salty they didn't have exactly what I wanted. Still the best candy I have ever had. read more

I'm one of those girlies who absolutely loooooooooooooooooooooooooooves chocolate! I guess you could say I'm a chocoholic! I love the fact that being sight challenged means I could see the world with my other senses, but especially the power of my nose! You open the door, and the smell of chocolate seems to say, "You are certainly very welcome to our, humble home!". I'm not one to like nuts or coconut, but I do love chocolates, especially those chocolates with soft centers. A few of the ones I like are the peanut butter patties, the Chocolate Buttercreams, the Vanilla Buttercreams, and the Cafe Au Lait Truffles. I'd like to give this company a solid 5 stars! Or better yet, how about 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 stars! You guys make amazing chocolates! Sure they're a bit spendy, but it's the quality I've always come to love! I've even subscribed to the Youtube channel, and I'm fascinated by what I hear in the videos! Keep up the good work! read more

See's Candies - Sooo good - Candy Stores Near Me - Eugene, Oregon

I have never had See's candies before being that I lived on the east coast almost my whole life. My roommate introduced me to it one Sunday and lets just say that was a bad idea. We now go here every Sunday and each of us gets a 1/2 pound box each of chocolates. We call it our "Fat Sundays" There is an older lady and a young man that work there on Sundays. Both of them are extra friendly. Don't tell them but I like the guy better. He lets me try as many chocolates as I want. I never go over trying 3 because then I would feel bad. (also just for walking into the store you get a sample) My favorite chocolates that they have are the maple walnut, blueberry truffle, and cafe au lait truffle. They are all rich, creamy, and delicious. They also have seasonal chocolates. They had an apple pie truffle and it tasted like I was eating a slice of apple pie. Yum. I wish that they had more dark chocolate and white chocolate options. There are only about 5 white chocolate options. It is reasonably priced. A half pound box usually costs about 9 bucks and you get 11-13 pieces of chocolate. read more

The team at the Eugene See's Candies is always amazing. The management team of Jordan and Kendra are great. Whenever I go in they greet me right away and always have a smile. I found a gift certificate that was more than 4 years old and stopped by on my way through town to see if they might give me some credit for it. I was shocked that they honored it at full value and helped me pick out a great tray of chocolates. This place is very clean, the service was excellent and the chocolate was fantastic. We will definitely be back. read more

"I can't believe this place is still doing so well!" I always think to myself when I see people inside a See's Candies store. It makes me happy that a chocolate store that's been around since 1921 is still in business and still making people smile with sweet chocolate treats. You can always count on getting a free sample from the sweet ladies and gents dressed in while behind the counter. I remember going to See's in my hometown as a kid and buying chocolate to send to my grandmother. I loved their lollipops and peppermint patties. The chocolates are rich and decadent so you only need 1-2 per serving. The employees at this location were nice but a little scattered since it's close the Valentine's Day and people were getting their gifts ready in little red heart boxes. Maybe I'll get myself a box and be my own Valentine... read more

There is no other candy. If it's not See's, I'm not interested. If I'm at a loss for a gift idea, no one is EVER disappointed with a box of their chocolates. I know I'm certainly not! Not only do I love the candy, but I think their old-fashioned stores are delightful. There's something very nostalgic and comforting about See's! For a treat, it's great fun to go and choose a few from their candy case. read more

I always stop by when I am in Eugene, so I can hand pick my favorites. It is the usual clean-as-a-whistle See's store, and the service is good. My only suggestion would be for the clerks to be more pleasant and personable. You walk in, they toss a sample on the counter top, without saying a word. Smiles are limited. They do their job, but do they find joy in it? I would have given it a 4-star for this, but heck it's See's Candies. They have been delighting me since 1963 in Los Angeles. And their fudge is absolutely addicting. read more

Can't say enough good things about sees candies. Great quality everything, absolutely worth the price. Always really nice staff at this location and I love the free samples. I do wish they were open later because I am in this area later at night usually to eat at MOD pizza and would love some chocolate after, but they seem to close on the early side. This is my go to place and I hope they stick around for a while. read more

Super nice staff...and big and bright store (unlike Salem's location). Located just off Coburg Rd., in a small shopping complex.

It's See's, best candy ever. However be advised, their website and here on Yelp SAY they are open at 9am. They are not, they do not open until 10am. The staff is pleasant and friendly, just Be advised As to their opening hours. 10am open. read more

I went to sees candies on Coburg Rd. I was waited on by Christie. I asked for my box of candy to be wrapped, as it was my present to my husband for our 28th anniversary.
