My friends and I stopped in here tonight to get a birthday cookie for one of my friends. The employee was immediately there to help us and got us our warm cookies quickly. They were super nice and helpful explaining how the free birthday cookie reward worked. The store was clean and easy to find. Parking is a bit tough since it's downtown and pretty much on campus, so we ended up parking on a residential street and walking a block and a half in the rain. I am always a fan of a store that exclusively sells cookie. And now I am a fan of Insomnia Cookies. I stopped in here on a whim while out for a Downtown Eugene stroll. As soon as you walk through the entrance you are greeted with the most amazingly warm and sweet scent. It can just be from the cookies alone, they have to pumping that through the vents. I contained myself to only walking away with three cookies: classic chocolate chip, strawberry shortcake, and vegan birthday cake. All had the great soft texture of a good bake and each had their flavors spot on. I highly recommend this place. read more

I came here to fulfill a 10pm cookie craving and I had very high expectations for this place. I know a great cookie when I taste it, and these were not them. The quality is on par with fast food cookies. They are served warm, which definitely helps the case, but for $1.75 a cookie I expect a bit better. Our favorite was the oatmeal raisin but even then it wasn't a delicious oatmeal raisin cookie, just the best of what we tried. There was just nothing amazing about these cookies. The website said the address was invalid since it was a dorm and I didn't know what the name of the hall was. When I called, I was sent to hold without speaking to anybody for 10 minutes each time. I tried again an hour later and someone finally picked up and told me how to punch the address in, so I hung up and did exactly that, except it still said it didn't exist. My ONE complaint, is that if you pay with card they don't give you an option to tip, management needs to figure this out because I always plan to tip but don't always have cash, it's unfair for the employees that have to work till probably 330 or 4 am, and can't make tips because their employers don't allow them to unless they're cash tips.
