Well then we drove by one last time and I grabbed a few more! I'm back home now and I've been searching for another cookie like yours, and I'm disappointed every time. Your frosting is perfect, not too sweet or gritty. Your cookie is always so soft, and they smell like they were just cooked and wrapped. (listen to me, I could be your spokes person) Next time I'm down in Oregon I'm going to make an effort to get your cookies. I don't know if they ship them or not. I should find out, lol.

They give a 10% Discount for seniors so my mother's truffle was on sale. They also had strawberry cheesecake on sale for 50% off as the truffle of the week. I essentially got a BOGO for free with the discounts. I think it was a little amount - about $4.25 for two truffles. The strawberry cheesecake one was large and served cold, much more delicious than I thought it would be. They have a variety of chocolate gifts and a great place to shop for a gift basket pick me up for a student or anyone worthy of a celebration. I really enjoyed stopping in. This is definitely a stop I would recommend to others.

They're clearly focused on the demographic, tourists of Eugene, parents and students of UO - we were both. Service on the other hand is lacking. There was no friendly greeting we've grown accustomed to from the locals even far from closing time. Going along with other reviews, we felt we were a hindrance rather than welcome guests to the store. We spent all of about 10 minutes looking and purchasing. If the atmosphere were less sterile, we perhaps would have tried some other items. The ice cream looked decadent but we didn't feel the need to linger. Ah well. We'll try another small business for Eugene gifts to take back to the office.

Customer service is not her strong suit, so do not go in there with your "Let me speak to your manager" haircut and make sure you set the bar very low. Consider yourself warned. Any negative reviews about her from here on out is your own fault. I am looking at you, Yelp review connoisseurs. As far as the food, I have only had the molasses cookies with frosting and they are why I set this at 5 Stars. After taking one bite, Grandma-ma can eye roll me all she wants as long as she delivers the goods. Everything else could be crap and it would not make a difference to me because those are so good. We got a couple sugar cookies and those were actually really good, I only had a sliver of one, but it was good and the other people I was with liked them. Why I am rating them A two star is because there were bugs in their display case, see my photos, one on each side. The ice cream looked freezer burn and I wasn't sure if it was even something you could order. Behind the ice cream it looked dark and crowded which just random stuff. Decorations were random and just kinda awkward all around. The lady who helped us was friendly. After seeing the bugs and all of the crumbs inside the case that made it look so dirty I won't be coming back.

There is a mango habanero fudge, which is actually pretty good. Right now I am obsessed with the watermelon fudge. That is my favorite, and a close second is the raspberry cheesecake. The owner also sells the fudge at Bright Oak Meats in Springfield. Which is nice if I'm craving some and don't want to drive far.
