The marionberry chocolate had good flavor, very berry like. But I didn't like the chocolate outside too much, just the inside, because it didn't taste terribly cocoa-y. I didn't much care for the coffee flavored (truffle?) chocolate- they were labeled chocolates but filled like truffles. They were also enormous. Since I wasn't in love, I didn't try the other two, but that should give you a decent idea of my opinion of the taste. Still points for options, friendliness, and variety!

Because of not having wax it is kept in the refrigerator for up to 6 months. It only takes about a minute for it to be ready to eat if you can wait that long. My favorite flavors are espresso sea salt and espresso orange liqueur. I do warn you that after eating this chocolate you will be addicted and spoiled for any other. Brutto ma Buono Cioccolato is ugly but good chocolate in Italian, but there is nothing ugly about it and good is an understatement!

Then, for years it was one of two places I both wanted to go to and take people to experience each time I visited. Now that I live here again, I strangely only get delivery. However, even saying the name brings on a childish grin (and possibly happy tears) to my eyes! It doesn't hurt that their key lime tart is my favorite dessert not called sorbet of all time. Oh, yes, they also have sorbet, and while it isn't on Wanderlust's level, I don't care. She was wearing a mask, so I presume she wasn't feeling good. She was friendly when we checked out, but the mask made it difficult to hear and understand her, so we had to ask for clarification a couple of times. Because of the mask, we elected to only buy pre-packaged chocolate and nothing fresh, just because we weren't certain how sick the employee was, and I have been sick myself more often lately, and I didn't want to have it happen again. The store is small but always clean and easy to navigate. Would I return? Yes. We've been coming to this location for a number of years, and will continue to do so. But I can guarantee you that you'll buy more than expected if you do. We came in this weekend and I remembered there was a candy store in the mall! We walked in and there they were right front and center! And they were a free sample that day too. It was meant to be. Dark chocolate, assorted chocolate, and milk chocolate covered gummy bears. There were SO many options in the store. Fun to scoop and pick what you want. Caramels, gummy, chocolate, sour, etc. you name it, they have it. The lady working in there was so kind and cheerful. She was very sweet! (Get it, haha) happy to find a local place with my favorite candy!

I had the intentions just to browse until I saw their cheese cake brownie. I had no idea what Gianni's had on their dessert menu and I didn't care to wait and find out. I chose that before we went to eat, and we had dinner I dug in and it was love at first bite. Since I'm not a coffee drinker I never step into small cafes on my own or look around to check out pastries, but I'm glad I made the exception here.

Sweet Life Petite is the mini-version of the original Sweet Life. This one's located on Campus…read more(well, not technically on campus but like right by campus). It is indeed pretty small; there's an "in" door and an "out" door so and since the line can form pretty quickly. They're pretty fast though, so even if the line is close to the door (which it was once when I visited) you'll still be out within about 10 minutes or fewer. One of my favorite things from Sweet Life are their morning pastries--specifically, their cinnamon roll and the lemon cream bun. Both are amazing, and whilst the cinnamon roll is my personal favorite, if you have to choose get the lemon cream bun. It's different from something you've tried before; you can't get one of these everywhere and it's amazing. Their tiramisu is good too, and the some of their other cakes. Check out their specials--there's always something good to choose from. This location has no dedicated parking, just a few spots on the street (shared with Prince Puckler's, the pizza place, and other businesses around). There's a lot of outdoor seating, nice for warm summer evenings.
