I just shopped here for the first time. Im new in town and am trying out different stores for groceries, housewares, linens, produce etc. I was impressed by this liquor store ....good selection, nicely layed out and friendly staff who asked if I was finding what I needed. It was very busy....a hot Saturday after the 4th of July. Prices seem to be the same everywhere due to the laws here in OR, but I did find some good deals on small sampler bottles. This is close to home, so I will shop here often. read more

Extremely dismissive condescending and rude older gentleman with a really bad attitude. He told me I was wrong in that there was no difference between tanqueray imported and tanqueray extra dry gin. I've been drinking this stuff for years and told him I tried extra dry and threw it away. Told me the gin I was looking for was on the shelf even after I told him an employee and I had looked for it on the shelf. I showed him the smaller $12 bottle behind counter which is not the same as dry gin. He insisted it was on the shelf. He tried to palm me off back to original employee. Looks like I went in on a bad day. Got a real unfriendly vibe from not one but two employees. They also short filled the stainless steel growler, so didn't know until I got home. Not sure what it was about, but I have to caution people to stay away. Probably the same ownership for many of these places, but I'm going to have to find another store for my high end scotch fix. I really hate liquor stores in Oregon. If the Safeway just 50 yards away sold hard booze, this place would be out of business. It's time Oregon looked at it's liquor laws. Terrible customer service and bigot vibes from the people that work here. Sorry to show up in my work clothes. How dare I make money and spend it. Don't believe the other reviews and avoid this place at all costs. If you want to be looked down on then this is your place. When I was finally helped the man who sold me a pint of vodka knocked it over in my direction on the counter. Who does that? It could have broke.This was my second time in here and the customer service was even worse than before. The older gentleman walked away from me as soon as i asked and brushed me off as if i didn't matter. Just horrible way to be. Didn't even try to interest me in something else. I had no idea how hard it would be to find liquor in the state of Oregon. Liquor is only sold at liquor stores... I learned this hard lesson after attempting to get all my ingredients for Kentucky Bourbon balls at the grocery store. After being laughed at, I was identified as a non native and directed here: A proper liquor store. Three people were working and three people interacted with me. All were friendly and helpful. Selection was good and prices seemed to be about what I was expecting. Throw in a free gift as a checkin incentive and you got yourself a fine establishment. They also seem to have earlier opening hours than other stores. read more

Another re-review on this spot. It gets the 5th star.....They earned it. This is the one location that NEVER runs out of the whisky or vodka that I'm looking for. The selection is huge, the store is clean, they have ice and mixers for a 1 pop stop, they support our ducks, and overall I'm starting to refuse to go anywhere else. The other day I was closer to the liquor store on division and decided to hit it up. Low and behold, they had the vodka, but not my whisky.....Ended up having to drive all the way back anyhow. I originally said if they were open later i would give them the 5th star. Fact is, they deserve it no matter what time they close. It just pays off to stop here. read more

Best opening hours, large selection including a lot of Oregon products, and friendly service. Favorite thing I've gotten here thus far is the premade Lemon Drop mix (comes in a plastic shaker for extra classiness), made with GINGER VODKA, which is made in Oregon. Sooo delicious. read more

They may have been a good place to go prepandemic, but at least one employee is actively flouting any precautions. I went in on June third with mask at a time when I could see there was only one other customer. That customer was talking to an employee stocking shelves without a mask. Since they were blocking the narrow aisle in front of the shelf I needed, I waited 6 feet away. The employee could see me, the customer couldn't. I waved my hand. The employee ignored me. I said, "Excuse me," loudly. The customer turned around and then left. The employee continued to ignore me. I said excuse me again and he wouldn't even look my direction. I had to get right up to an unmasked employee to get my item. This had to be intentional. Keep your political statements that risk the health of customers OUT of the store. read more

Terrible customer service. The Oregon Liquor Commission webpage said there was a bottle available of a liquor I was looking for. After going out of my way to stop and purchase it the clerk was very rude and not helpful claiming that the bottle was spoken for, if it was even there, and did not go look. If this is the case the bottle needs to be rung out of the system so it does not show in inventory. We will not be giving this store our business EVER. It's bad enough they "saved" this bottle but the clerks RUDE attitude was uncalled for. read more

The staff at Northside our knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. I came in to buy Scotch for a friend - I'm not a Scotch drinker so I had a lot of questions. The person who helped me out was a wealth of information and helped my make a great section. The carry a good variety of alcohol including some more obscure offerings - like my favorite tequila, Chamucos, which is a little difficult to find. read more

Moved here from the coast - yup people do that! - and I stumbled onto this store. Personable staff, even when they're busy! They have a well thought out store lay out and things are easy to find. "Tasting" stations are often located in the store and all questions are answered by knowledgeable folks. Great access makes this store a breeze to breeze into and --- well, the staff Will and his crew make it a pleasant time. THX you all!! Unfriendly customer service. Man working there had no idea about any of the alcohols and was pretty rude. Every time I go here I am dissapointed yet again. Probably won't try it again.
