Service is super fast, and the staff is nice. The downside: Their QR ordering platform really wants you to make an account. Without that, it times out quickly (erasing your order-in-work). Also, beer descriptions on the online ordering platform don't include any details on the beers - it won't even tell you the style of beer or ABV. I went inside to take a picture of the tap list so that I could complete my online order. My point of reference is Mammoth Brewing. Their online ordering platform doesn't require an account sign up, but keeps your session open for your entire meal, making it trivial to add stuff as you go, without re-entering your card info. It's low-friction and encourages me to buy more food/drink.

I can't get their beer where I live anymore, so I picked up my brother in law and we took a long trip, the Springfield tap room was our first stop. I called ahead & talked with Randi, the general manager. When we arrived, they had my favorite Hopvalley IPA on tap as she promised. We were greeted with smiles and a handshake on our arrival. Just like the beer, the food was top quality. Made of fresh ingredients and came out quick and hot. The onion rings for our appetizer were some of the best I have ever had. The Alphadelic IPA on draft was excellent, well worth the long drive for our first round. Our dinners were well cooked and presented, me a cob salad and my brother a BLTA. He switched up to a gin & tonic (made perfectly), and I had a Cryostash for my second round, can't be beat. The service is the punch line, this is the how you do it part. Excellent all night. This was a Saturday evening, the tap room was packed. All the staff were working hard and moving fast. But the key was, they all had smiles on their faces. The took time to talk and listen to every customer, including us. This does not happen by accident, it happens by prioritizing creating a great customer experience, but ultimately comes from people truly caring about what they are doing and how they are doing their job. We had a great time the entire evening, could not have been better, but it was. They gave me a very gracious present for coming from a long distance. I mention this only to illustrate the caring that I am pointing to. We already had the best evening of our trip, and that last gesture comes from the heart. They did not need to do anything like that, and they did. It came from the general manager and all the staff with a hand signed card. This restores one's belief in simple kindness.
