cheese slices - A cardboard pizza box contains three slices of cheese pizza with melted cheese and a slightly browned crust. The box is on a beige train seat, with a person sitting next to it, wearing a dark jacket and plaid pants. The setting appears to be inside a train carriage, with the seat's upholstery visible in the background.

really good pizza especially for the price! it's like $4-5 for a huge slice of pizza and the staff are so funny and friendly! cute vibe inside with some seating.

Heaven - A person, wearing a maroon long-sleeve shirt, holds a large slice of cheese pizza on a white paper plate. The pizza has a thin crust with melted cheese and some browned spots. The background shows wood flooring, a red refrigerator, a small glass-fronted refrigerator with bottled drinks, and a black chair. The setting appears to be a casual dining area or pizzeria.

Five stars isn't enough--in fact it would take scientific notation to rate this place. We're talking 7.5 to the thousandth power. Best NY pizza west of New York. Others may disagree but they'd be wrong.

Sausage and crumbled bacon with black olives!

A chef and owner of a fabulous restaurant in Fall Creek mentioned Sy's and I decided to try their pizza yesterday. It was rainy and stopped by for a late lunch/early dinner (Linner). I requested a slice of their sausage with crumbled bacon. The pleasant young man taking my order also told me that was the slice of the day and I could have an extra side placed on top for free! Well, I chose black olives. I was fascinated, watching one of the pizza bakers stretching pizza dough which was extra entertainment for me. He was great to watch! I sat at one of the stools and enjoyed my delicious giant slice of pizza and also did a little people watching. I will absolutely be back for another delicious slice of pizza Heaven. I have been to New York and had real New York pizza. This was absolutely my favorite pizza crust and quality toppings that I have been searching for since I don't get to New York as often as I would like!

cheese pizza - A large slice of cheese pizza featuring a thin crust with melted cheese and some darker, slightly burnt spots, resting on parchment paper on a wooden table. A Coca-Cola cup with a straw is positioned nearby, indicating a casual dining setting.

went in and was immediately greeted with a silly employee. swear to god this employee made our stop at this restaurant. i think his name was toby? he was just so funny, great banter. we got a slice for $5 and a combo for $7 which is a slice and a drink. the pizza was good and the service was even better. i also liked the wood and mirror interior. the mirrors make the restaurant seem bigger than it actually is. will be coming back!

Humongous, tasty slice of thin crust Neapolitan - A large triangular slice of pizza featuring melted cheese, tomato sauce, and various meat toppings is placed on white parchment paper inside a cardboard pizza box. A person's hand is partially visible in the background, resting on a wooden surface.

Friendly service, delicious slices that are humongous, and cozy inside. My kid loved the thin crust Neapolitan. The garlic knots looked fresh and delicious, but we had no stomach space left to try them.

Decided to try out a slice quickly before my movie last night, it did not disappoint. I've been coming to Sy's for years, especially when it was located by North Eugene High School! I've been hearing online about the new recipe and decided to check it out with my boyfriend. We both agreed that this new recipe is definitely good, it's more cheesy, the dough is crispier and the pizza is more firm, not flimsy. Super solid pizza, I just got the classic cheese and he got some toppings on his. Each slice runs you about $4, which really isn't bad considering how HUGE the slices are. Definitely filling. We also got the churro bites to try but I'd skip those if it's later in the day, they're $4 and not very sugary, but probably because it was 9pm; definitely best fresh. Service was quick and friendly. Not a lot of seating since it's a small location obviously but it's always been more of a quick bite to grab and leave kind of vibe for me. Definitely could come with some friends though to grab a bite and eat.

HAWAIIAN PIZZA with onions! It was the pizza of the day! So yummy - A single slice of Hawaiian pizza featuring cheese, ham, pineapple, and onions is held over a person's arm inside a vehicle. The pizza has a thin crust with some charring on the edges. The person is wearing a red wristband and has a tattoo on their forearm. The vehicle's dashboard and interior, including a paper napkin and part of the seat, are visible in the background.

The service was awesome the two different times I went! The pizza always tastes fresh and so do the ingredients! It's a big slice of pizza and will fill you up! Definitely a must every time I go to Eugene!

Old school cool.

Let's start with the pizza decent New York style and good crust. The $4.00 coupon was a total failure! It's not a deal breaker just seems like when the owner ( I guess?) makes it a point to say " unless yelp is paying I've never seen that unless it's from the old owner " I had told them I had it when ordering. Do, I guess you're not going to honor it? NO! Just offer something other then a crappy attitude bro. Advertising isn't in his wheel house but the advertising he just did isn't helping his business sadly. Times are tough in the restaurant business I get it. I would have been stoked to just get a hey sorry about the old coupon here's a $2.00 for next time. Going to wheel Apizza.......

Big slice w/ big appetites

Osteria DOP - Calabrian pizza

Wow! This food is insanely delicious! As we knew that we would be passing through Eugene yesterday,…read moreI started looking up restaurants. I was enticed by the pictures of fresh salads and wood fired pizzas. We ended up getting a few pizzas, a couple different pastas. They were all so flavorful (not salty) the texture of the gnocchi was so soft and absorbed the flavorful sauce. We were all blown away. We used QR to order, and were advised to order in waves. Drinks first. Everything came out promptly, even though the restaurant was pretty full. The last few days we ate at some incredible restaurants. Cold Springs Tavern in Santa Barbara, Nepenthe in Big Sur, then we come to Osteria DOP and all agreed the food here was unmatched. The best. For driving many hours, I liked that the atmosphere was casual, but it still looked modern and nice.

Their food really does live up to the hype. The pizza has a perfect airy, charred crust with just…read morethe right amount of crispy and chewy. The pasta was a nice al dente and had a good coat of sauce. Despite the restaurant being fairly busy, the food came relatively quickly! The restaurant has limited tables, so expect a wait! There are also bar seats and seats that face a wall. There are QR codes at tables to scan and place your order, and the waiters that bring/bus food were super friendly. All and all, Osteria DOP was a great experience! I will be back to try out more items from their menu.

If you've ever wandered the streets of Eugene, Oregon with a little nostalgia in your chest and a…read morehunger in your gut, you already know there are some places that aren't just restaurants they're landmarks of memory. And Track Town Pizza... well, that place doesn't just serve slices it serves time itself. Let me set the scene. I'm posted up at the Hayward Inn, a stone's throw from the sacred ground of Hayward Field. Every visit, no matter how many years pass, there's a ritual: lace up the memories, walk the same streets, and end up right where the legends linger under the warm lights of Track Town Pizza. You walk in, and there he is... Steve Prefontaine... staring down like he never left. Not just a photo more like a reminder. Now here's a little flavor for the soul: Track Town Pizza opened back in the late 1970s, built right in the heartbeat of what folks call "TrackTown USA." It became a hangout for runners, students, dreamers anybody chasing something. And yeah, over the years, plenty of local characters passed through bartenders, staff, regulars who became part of the story. Guys like Steve Fontaine? They weren't just pouring drinks they were part of the era, part of that gritty, analog Eugene vibe. We're talking decades back now roughly 30 to 40 years ago when this place felt like a clubhouse for the track-and-field faithful. But for me, this isn't just history it's personal. When I was younger, I didn't have much... but I could run. And like a lot of kids trying to find their lane in life, I found mine looking up to Prefontaine. The way he pushed, the way he talked "To give anything less than your best is to sacrifice the gift." That stuck. Still does. So every time I walk into Track Town Pizza, it's not just about grabbing a slice it's like shaking hands with that younger version of myself. The kid who believed grit could take you somewhere. And let me tell you the pizza? Still hits like a victory lap. Old-school, no nonsense, loaded the way it should be. No gimmicks. Just honest, legendary pies that have fed generations of runners and late-night thinkers. So yeah... five stars doesn't even cut it. Because this place isn't just my favorite spot near campus it's a time machine. It's a shrine. It's a reminder that dreams don't die, they just wait for you to come back and visit. And every time I'm in Eugene, I do just that.

Like if the pizza gods held the Olympics and awarded gold medals for cheese, crust, and pure happiness, this place would sweep the podium. The crust? Perfect. The cheese? Glorious. The toppings? A majestic avalanche of deliciousness. One bite and I briefly considered moving to Eugene and building my entire life around being within a 3-minute radius of this pizza. Honestly, if aliens landed tomorrow and demanded to know the pinnacle of human achievement, I'd skip the pyramids and just hand them a slice from Track Town Pizza.
