Umm. Not sure about this one. The restaurant is so cool. With the old train cars and that whole vibe. Love the ambiance. We walked in on a Thursday evening. It looked like the restaurant had been slammed earlier, but it was not busy when we arrived. Regardless, we were seated in the bar area after a 15 minute wait and when we asked if we could be seated in a better location, we were told that since we didn't have a reservation, we would need to eat at the bar area. Again. No area was full at this time and several other people were eating in the train cars. We ordered our food and it was delivered rather haphazardly. Since this is a three course meal deal, it seemed like they didn't have the timing down, but should have. It's probably 90% orders like this. Bread, soup/salads, entrees, ice cream. Not too complicated. Still, our bread came after the soup/salads. And oddly, our entrees came almost immediately. Sadly, they were lackluster. It's spaghetti factory, so I wasn't expecting Michelin star quality. But watery sauces, and very bland. I was disappointed all around. Ice cream was fine. Since this was likely the last time I will be in Eugene, I probably won't have the opportunity to return to old Spaghetti Factory. And that's ok. I hope your experience is better. And make a reservation.

We were greeted by a host who asked us if we had a reservation even though the restaurant was empty. He wasn't rude it was just kinda odd. We were seated and the waitress came quickly she was nice and got our drinks fast- the food was quick and tasted good and was a super deal. It was like spaghetti and meatballs with wine and ice cream for 2 for a very affordable price- the inside is really fancy looking and the food was good- I hope we were just in during a slow time and that they get business

I've gone to many Spaghetti factories in multiple states and I have to say, this one was my favorite so far. From the ambiance and decor to the service and food, I left in awe. I love how the dining area were inside actual trains. What a treat! It made my experience here feel so fun. My regular order is the half clam sauce, half mizithra cheese. It came out hot and tasty. I've been to some that didn't taste too good and I've been to some that was good. I think this time, the food was great! Thank you for having me and my daughter visit. We will be back again soon!

We went to have lunch the bread was good my pasta was ok was not real Hot , my husband ordered a sausage with his food he didn't get it I finally had to get up from table and actually stand by kitchen and ask someone by then his food had got cold and he had started eating some of it but the whole point to have the sausage with meal . The service the waitress was friendly but we felt like we were not getting good service as far as asking if we needed anything I had to wave her down to get napkins and another time to get refill on water .for the price I thought waitress would of taken the sausage off the bill since it took so long and I had to get up to find someone to get it I felt disappointed on experience . I miss the electric station . The ambiance still nice.

I came in here last night with my husband, as we were celebrating our anniversary. We walked in and it was a ghost town. The manager asked if we had a reservation. Looking around, this seemed like the dumbest question imaginable, given it was abundantly clear nobody was knocking down the door to get in. I can't say I had high hopes from the start, based on this. Our waitress was Julie, who was fantastic and super helpful. She checked on us often, and made sure we had everything we needed. She was easily the best part of this experience. We ordered drinks and the toasted ravioli for an appetizer. Which were both good. I ordered the chicken Alfredo and my husband ordered the spaghetti Vesuvius, both with minestrone soup. Soup was actually really good, and perfect on a chilly evening. Only complaint there is the noodles sat in the soup, so they had no texture whatsoever. If this were me running a restaurant, I would make the soup minus the noodles, and add the noodles to order, so they weren't mushy. My fettuccini came with chicken, mushrooms, and broccoli. It was all bland and the chicken had a mushy texture to it. Definitely lacked the basic salt and pepper, which always annoys me. There was salt and pepper at the table, but I'm not into paying someone to assemble my food and me season it. I can stay home and do that. My husband's spaghetti was good. I liked his too, so I'm pretty sure I just ordered the wrong meal for myself. Dessert was tiramisu and ice cream, which was good. No complaints there. Decor-wise, they've done nothing to change the building/decorations/ambiance since the Oregon Electric Station closed. They just slapped the Old Spaghetti Factory logo on the door right next to the Electric Station logo. So it doesn't feel like they fit in. It's almost like the Spaghetti Factory is a guest/pop up restaurant borrowing the Electric Station's kitchen and dining room. This was three star food with five star service, which is why I'm calling it a four star rating. There was nothing egregiously wrong with it, I just dislike chain restaurants in general. Would I return? Probably not. It just wasn't my favorite meal I've ever had. Definitely not the worst, but there's nothing to bring me back. I'm not craving it, not wanting to try other things on the menu, nothing. It was a forgettable meal, to be perfectly honest. Julie, our server, was the most memorable and positive part of the experience. But I need more than that to bring me back.

So very pleased that free parking is now available in the large lot next to the restaurant. This is a fun family and friend experience. Free parking so close makes for a very nice evening.

My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our experience here the other day! They generously offer a birthday special if you sign up for rewards, free classic pasta entree. I tried a duo combination pasta and my boyfriend had the chicken parmigiana. Honestly the pastas were super tasty, super good value too. Comes with sourdough bread, minestrone soup or salad with a pesto ranch, then dessert at the end. All that for about $20 each entree, very good deal. We will be back again to try some other flavors. Service was super friendly! Be sure to make a reservation online because it gets busy. This can be a romantic night out or family gathering for sure.

To our satisfaction, we found there is plenty of three hour parking in the lot next to OSF. We walk in and are immediately greeted. We found the Hosting Station service friendly and elegant. We were offered a choice of seating and decided on an open booth table with chairs and bench. The seating was spacious and very comfortable. The dining area itself is very roomy and the lighting with decor makes for a pleasant intimate atmosphere. We ordered our drinks and appetizers. I opted for the Blackberry Italian Cream Soda in a souvenir glass to go with the one I got from the Corvallis OSF. I found the Blackberry Italian cream soda to be a very clean and refreshing drink. Perfect for cleansing the palate. The Calamari appetizer has a crisp batter and is very flavorful and meaty. The marinara dipping sauce it came with was a nice tomato base chunky marinara with a sprinkling of parsley. The Minestrone soup is spot on with very fresh flavors and packed with pasta, veggies and spices. This is a classic Minestrone that is spicy enough to warm you up on a cold day. The Cheesy garlic bread is composed of sliced baguette that has been buttered and toasted with melted cheeses and a dash of parsley with a marinara dipping sauce. The Garlic shrimp fettuccine has a nice mild spice. The shrimp is cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor with an almost crisp like freshness to it. The garlic sauce is creamy and smooth with no graininess. The fettuccine is cooked to a nice al dente. The Sourdough loaf was very hot and crisp. The loaf was fresh and steaming hot, a perfect complement to the creamy sauces in abundance on our plates. The New York Cheesecake is smooth and comes with a strawberry purée that is very flavorful. All in all we found the service friendly and welcoming, the seating was updated and very comfortable. Just an all around comfortable atmosphere that has become our new local 'Special Occasion' place.

Service was great. Food was good. The only complaint I have is that the meatballs were pink in the middle.

Ask the Community - The Old Spaghetti Factory

For $25 Is the pasta made fresh or is it dried box pasta?

They do not make their own pasta. I would recommend Beppe and Gianni's if you want fresh, handmade pasta.

Did anyone find any GF options?

Gluten free options are available, as well as a gluten free menu if requested.

Both my self and my wife have spent extensive time in Italy and know Italian quarantine very well. So we were quite interested in trying this location based on many of the reviews a the menu. This is my verdict. I ordered the LASAGNA DELLA CASA, and the Tiramisu for the desert. First the lasagna, I read the Yelp reviews on this establishment prior to ordering. For the most part the reviews were good. I read two reviews that claimed that the sauce is canned. After tasting the sauce I can guarantee that those who are claiming that the sauce is canned clearly have a pallet that is fit for judging can dog or cat food. When it comes to real cuisine they have no clue of what they are talking about. I can guarantee the sauce is hand made. Even with it being take out I can tell you that. The lasagna was very good. The sauce was outstanding, the pasta was perfectly cooked and the Italian sausage is amazing. It has a perfectly balanced flavor with a wonderful flavor of fennel, not over powering yet its presences was very enjoyable. Overall for take out I was impressed. I will definitely be returning to this location to try this dish again in a dine in experience. Now for the Tiramisu. I have eaten this dessert in Italy at some very high end restaurants. As far as the Tiramisu at Beppe & Gianni's, it is on par with the best that I have eaten in some of the best Italian restaurants in and throughout Italy. And absolute symphony of wonderfulness. Let me remind you this was a take out order, that being said I am looking forward to returning to this location for the sit down experience. When I do that, I will take photographs of the cuisine and post them. It is not fair to an establishment to take pictures of takeout. When I went into the Restaurant to pick it up, I saw the plating and it was outstanding. The takeout box just doesn't do it justice. I highly recommend this location.

I was enticed by the pictures of fresh salads and wood fired pizzas. We ended up getting a few pizzas, a couple different pastas. The pasta was a nice al dente and had a good coat of sauce. Despite the restaurant being fairly busy, the food came relatively quickly! The restaurant has limited tables, so expect a wait! All and all, Osteria DOP was a great experience! I will be back to try out more items from their menu.

Not outdated it's dialed. No gimmicks, no nonsense just consistency that hits every single time. Now let me get this straight the calzones here? Hands down, some of the best I've ever had. Packed right, cooked right, everything balanced the way it should be. This isn't some rushed, thrown-together side item this is the kind of dish that makes you stop mid-bite and go, "Yeah... this is why this place is still around." I'll be honest, I read a few reviews beforehand and thought, "Did something change?" Nope. Walked in and it was exactly what I hoped for. Same classic feel, same solid food, same dependable experience. That's the beauty of Mozzi's it doesn't chase trends, it outlasts them. Value? Strong. Ambiance?
