Severely underwhelming, but service was fine. $6 for a slice of bacon and pineapple pizza, couldn't even finish it because it just was not good. $5 for a slice of pepperoni, barely any toppings on it. They are big slices but for the price honestly the value and quality just is not there. Both slices were also super burnt on the bottom (black) not just crispy, especially the pepperoni one. Karaoke was going on which can be fun and this is definitely a spot for a bar hangout vibe but the quality just doesn't hit for me. Also the ranches are 50 cents for a tiny cup, keep in mind!

There are a lot of unique places in downtown Eugene, OR and for lunch, I stopped in "Slice Downtown" was greeted by Travis H, requested their lunch special [a slice of pizza, salad and drink]. Travis H recommended the Cesar Salad as they make the dressing in-house, so I said, "Why not? Let's give it a try. We'll let me tell you, the dressing is on point, best Cesar dressing salad, I've had so far and I traveled the work where they make it table side. The setup is a bar with arcade games in the back and self-service bust your own table. Very good idea to keep everyone accountable. Love this place, and I'll be back.

I'm really happy to have a new Slice location downtown, but the owners - if you're reading this - HIRE MORE EMPLOYEES! We came here on a weekday night and there was only one cashier/server doing everything for 6/7 groups of customers. They definitely needed more help. The pizza itself though, is great! Our favorites are the brussel sprout and margarita. I love how thinly sliced the tomatoes are on the margarita. The pepperoni is a staple, but nothing special. Definitely try something a little different. The crust of the pizza here is sooo tasty - almost reminds me of an everything bagel. We will be coming back, especially when the bar opens up!

When I heard that Slice was expanding by moving into the corner formerly housed by Sizzle Pie, I thought it was a perfect fit. Both Slice and Sizzle offered whole or single sliced pizzas with vegetarian and vegan options, but I always felt Slice's pizza was always better. Better tasting and felt fresher. I finally had the chance to get some slices from their new downtown location. I'm surprised by the low reviews! My experience was fine. I notice the bar has not opened yet, hopefully the reviews will be more positive once that happens. I got a margherita and cheese slice to go and both were so very tasty. The cheese slice was ooey gooey with optimal pull, which is how I like it. My only note would be, I wish they had a better system for packaging up the slices to go. Having the pizza wrapped up in foil and served on a paper plate creates a very clumsy situation when walking to the car. But other than that, I am very happy to have Slice at this popular downtown area.

The place is open-come and get pizza!

Wait time for one slice is about 30 minutes, pizza was pretty good and so is the ranch! Staff are nice.

Midnight Margherita Pizza was very good. Heavy on the garlic so would avoid if that's not up your alley.

Wow! This food is insanely delicious! As we knew that we would be passing through Eugene yesterday,…read moreI started looking up restaurants. I was enticed by the pictures of fresh salads and wood fired pizzas. We ended up getting a few pizzas, a couple different pastas. They were all so flavorful (not salty) the texture of the gnocchi was so soft and absorbed the flavorful sauce. We were all blown away. We used QR to order, and were advised to order in waves. Drinks first. Everything came out promptly, even though the restaurant was pretty full. The last few days we ate at some incredible restaurants. Cold Springs Tavern in Santa Barbara, Nepenthe in Big Sur, then we come to Osteria DOP and all agreed the food here was unmatched. The best. For driving many hours, I liked that the atmosphere was casual, but it still looked modern and nice.

Their food really does live up to the hype. The pizza has a perfect airy, charred crust with just…read morethe right amount of crispy and chewy. The pasta was a nice al dente and had a good coat of sauce. Despite the restaurant being fairly busy, the food came relatively quickly! The restaurant has limited tables, so expect a wait! There are also bar seats and seats that face a wall. There are QR codes at tables to scan and place your order, and the waiters that bring/bus food were super friendly. All and all, Osteria DOP was a great experience! I will be back to try out more items from their menu.

And Track Town Pizza... well, that place doesn't just serve slices it serves time itself. Let me set the scene. I'm posted up at the Hayward Inn, a stone's throw from the sacred ground of Hayward Field. Every visit, no matter how many years pass, there's a ritual: lace up the memories, walk the same streets, and end up right where the legends linger under the warm lights of Track Town Pizza. You walk in, and there he is... Steve Prefontaine... staring down like he never left. Not just a photo more like a reminder. Now here's a little flavor for the soul: Track Town Pizza opened back in the late 1970s, built right in the heartbeat of what folks call "TrackTown USA." It became a hangout for runners, students, dreamers anybody chasing something. And yeah, over the years, plenty of local characters passed through bartenders, staff, regulars who became part of the story. Guys like Steve Fontaine? They weren't just pouring drinks they were part of the era, part of that gritty, analog Eugene vibe. We're talking decades back now roughly 30 to 40 years ago when this place felt like a clubhouse for the track-and-field faithful. But for me, this isn't just history it's personal. When I was younger, I didn't have much... but I could run. And like a lot of kids trying to find their lane in life, I found mine looking up to Prefontaine. The way he pushed, the way he talked "To give anything less than your best is to sacrifice the gift." That stuck. Still does. So every time I walk into Track Town Pizza, it's not just about grabbing a slice it's like shaking hands with that younger version of myself. The kid who believed grit could take you somewhere. And let me tell you the pizza? Still hits like a victory lap. Old-school, no nonsense, loaded the way it should be. No gimmicks. Just honest, legendary pies that have fed generations of runners and late-night thinkers. So yeah... five stars doesn't even cut it. Because this place isn't just my favorite spot near campus it's a time machine. It's a shrine. It's a reminder that dreams don't die, they just wait for you to come back and visit. And every time I'm in Eugene, I do just that.

Like if the pizza gods held the Olympics and awarded gold medals for cheese, crust, and pure happiness, this place would sweep the podium. The crust? Perfect. The cheese? Glorious. The toppings? A majestic avalanche of deliciousness. One bite and I briefly considered moving to Eugene and building my entire life around being within a 3-minute radius of this pizza. Honestly, if aliens landed tomorrow and demanded to know the pinnacle of human achievement, I'd skip the pyramids and just hand them a slice from Track Town Pizza.
