I was a few minutes late for my appointment and apologized, but I didn't get any greeting, when I walked in the door. I got a pedicure, and asked for my nails to be cut shorter. Catherine told me that she couldn't make them short. What? Why not? I told her that I also had some ingrown nails that needed to be addressed, but she never responded and just continued on. In addition, I was told by a gentleman that my personal polish was not good, not easy for her to paint and that I needed to throw it away. I had purchased this 6 months ago - I call BS...just because I didn't want to use their brands. I think it came out nice. What do they know? I didn't want anything done except for my cuticles, when it came time for the manicure. Either their tools are ridiculously dull or the guy was blind, because I left there with just as much skin hanging off my fingers, as I did when I walked in. What a waste of $10!! Save your money and go elsewhere! read more

Best pedicure I've gotten in awhile. And I recommend you go on a weekday, it's not as busy- there were only two other people getting manicures in the entire time I was there. I liked that they had a color wheel to pick colors from instead of trying to figure out the color from the racks of nail polish. And the stone massage was a nice touch. read more

My friend and I made appointments for pedicures here. The salon is clean and nice but they kept switching to doing other client's nails in the middle of our service which I found super annoying. It took them twice as long as it should to do a pedicure. They also made my friend move out of the massage chair when I wasnt done so another woman could take her place. They also forgot the salt scrub and did a very short massage. Not sure why this place is rated so high. Not impressed. read more

MC nails is the BEST nail salon I have ever been to, and I have been to so many so that says a lot. I like to get stiletto acrylics and I have never been happy with the shape until I came here. I'm writing this review without actually receiving any sort of service. My friend and I just had a late lunch and decided to get a quick pedicure. We found MC nails and it was close to our lunch spot with decent reviews and prices. As soon as we walked in, we noticed it was pretty much empty. There were only two girls getting their feet done. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted with hesitation and an older gentlemen approached us and asked what we would like; we responded with "two pedicures please"....and immediately he and another woman (who was giving a pedicure to one of the two girls) both hesitated and said "hmmmm Uhhhh we are kind of busy right now, please come back in 2 hours". Excuse me!?!? You have two customers in a shop with over 15 (I'm guessing) chairs and you say you're really busy and to come back two hours later???? How are you in business???? So needless to say, we left disappointed and baffled at how they could be "really busy". Bad experience, we will not be giving them another chance. Instead, went to Polished and had a great experience there---there were three customers and two employees and one desk greeter. They didn't say that they were "really busy". New to town and tried this place, the salon itself is very small and rundown. This salon only has two employees I had Michael do my fullset with gel polish, the price was higher than the rest in the area and the polish was chipping badly only a day or two after getting it done. He did do ok on shaping the nails. I would not recommend this to anyone and will not be back. read more

I was really impressed by the shellac manicure I got here about a month ago. The woman was meticulous and I actually think it was the best shellac manicure I have ever gotten! Just okay. They're very nice and have nice quality polishes. My main issues were that I couldn't see where/if they were sterilizing their tools and that the manicure itself was fairly underwhelming. They carry an array of nice quality polishes. I thought it was weird he filed my nails AFTER polishing them completely. The end result is fine, but it left sharper than usual edges, which I don't love. It isn't the best manicure I've had- but I would come back here if I was in a rush because I know they have nice quality products. The price point is also very competitive. read more

I had a great experience today at MC Nails. Decided to try them because they are located near my home. Other reviews indicated that it is owned by a husband/wife, and that they are the only employees, so an appointment was necessary. I called around noon and they were able to accommodate me at that time. I walked, but there is free street parking in the neighborhood if necessary. They were both so friendly, and the pedicure included a massage chair, a calf massage, and a hot stone massage. My feet are sensitive and I'm usually in some pain during a pedicure- no pain today. They charged me $25 (no shellac). I overheard them tell other customers that a mani-pedi is $35. I thought the experience was lovely, and I will definitely be back. read more

I usually go to Infiniti Nails but this place is closer to me and I like it better so I think I may switch loyalties! It's so lovely and quiet and you get a hot stone massage with your pedicure that is VERY relaxing. I also like the massage chairs better than Infiniti's. I usually fall asleep at some point. I only wish they had a wider selection of colors but as I am very pleased with the quality of the pedicure I will return. read more

The previous owners were amazing. I tried to go back recently. Salon was empty minus one lady who was on the phone. I asked for a fill with shellac polish. She grabbed foil and acetone to soak off my nails. I explained that it was shellac and needed to be filed off. She didn't listen and proceeded to dry out my hands. Then she grabbed products for a pedicure and at that moment I realized this lady didn't do nails but I was stuck. Less then 10 minutes later another lady comes flying through the door, says nothing to me and just starts yelling at the first lady. She proceeds to snatch the foil off my nail. Now my hands are dry. This lady was being extremely rude but that's to be expected at nail salons. My nails were done poorly. Another lady painted them. She was nice but wouldn't let me rinse my hands off so my nails had a bunch of nail file residue under the paint. Making it a poor paint job. Over charged me. I just wanted to get out of there so there was no point in saying anything to them. Next day two nails popped right off. Over all overpriced, rude customer service and rushed job. read more

I have never written a yelp review before, but felt it necessary after my experience. I was excited to get a shellac manicure and polish change on my toes here, because it received such good reviews. I was wrong. I actually left in the middle of my service and got my nails done somewhere else. Long story short, I waited there, and they took on clients before and during helping me. (I have been in many salons when this has happened, but not to the extent of this one) If you do not mind waiting, you might be fine, but they lied to a customer who was inquiring about a wait, and told her I wasn't getting my nails done, they were just trimming them and would be with her in 5min. Also, there color selection was not good for shellac, however that is not a reason I would have left in the middle of my service. read more

If your in a hurry and want to be in and out with in half hour or less for mani pedi this is not your place. The couple that work here are very detailed about their work and there results are amazing. My gel mani was done extremely well the man took such good care of every nail it was amazing how much patience he has. Overall my first experience was top notch. Clean place , nice chairs, not small or crowded and the color selection is many and they have a great way set out to help you see all the colors instead of picking out bottles from the wall. Prices are fair and sometimes less than places around them. My option is the price is cheap for the Great work you get. read more

Went in for the first time to get my eyebrows waxed and the wax was too hot and brunt my skin. I tried telling the gal and she ignored me. I then tried calling the next day to tell them how it hurt and that it was blistered and red. It continued to burn for a long time. I then went to the store around 615pm but they were closed even though it says open till 7pm. I finally got into the salon and tried explaining to the guy what had happened and showed him, and he apologized and said that my skin was too sensitive and it wasn't there fault. He also answered the phone while I was mid sentence to talk to some else clearly more important than myself. Will never go back and won't ever recommend. The lack of professionalism was unreal. So disappointed and my eye burn most likely will scare. Not to mention it's not cheap 12 bucks to get a permanent burn. read more

MC nails did a fabulous job on my gel manicure today. They had a huge selection of colors, the husband/wife team was friendly, careful, and patient, and the atmosphere is relaxing. Make sure you're not in a rush if you go - they really take their time making sure their work is well-done. The only issue is that they used the UV light on my nails every time they did a nail, rather than a whole hand at a time. It concerned me a bit about the radiation. read more
