I was given a gift card a a gift that listed "My Nail Bar/Rosevelt Nail Bar" as two places it could be used. I made an appointment with note that I wanted to use gift card. When I arrived and they looked up gift card- which showed up in their system- they told me I had to use at other location because they weren't associated with them anymore. Well I called other location and they said the same thing. The gift card doesn't expire until April 2026 and was about 2 months ago. The salon and staff are nice but I can't help be frustrated as feel like we have been scammed and now have to deal with figuring out how to get refunded.
I had extensions done 8/22, they started lifting less than 12 hours later. I reached out on 8/24 and again a couple of days later. I've received zero response. I can't keep the area that isn't supposed to exist between my nails and my extensions clean and dry. This is so unsanitary and disgusting. They are extremely hard to get a hold of, even so far as calling them to say I was running a couple of minutes late. Their phone number isn't on their booking app, in my confirmation email, in my confirmation text, or in any of the reminder texts (all sent from different "no reply" numbers).
This is the kind of nail salon that gets the job done but you feel like you're in a factory. They're ALWAYS busy and rushing you out. They do a decent job and the prices are reasonable considering it's the more luxurious end of all the nail spas in Roosevelt. But I would not say it's the place to go if you want to relax or treat yourself.
Gel Manicure I went as a walk-in and they were able to accommodate me immediately. I chose a color and the whole process was done in half an hour. They made sure I was happy with the shape of my nails before applying the gel. I'm very happy with the quality of the manicure and I will definitely be back!

We walked-in without a wait but I would recommend calling ahead. You can get a slight discount if you pay in cash, just ask. I opted for the gel manicure and was glad they took off my previous shellac nail polish and repaired a crack in one of my nails with dipping powder without extra cost! The service also includes a complimentary drink, back massage, and a hot paraffin wax treatment! I know many other nail salons that barely have any of these perks. Happy with how my polish came out. My technician really took their time and it still looks good about a week later without any cracks! Support local small businesses like this!

Unfortunately, I've now had my dip done here twice, and despite the really good reviews, my experience was not what I was hoping. The dip nails have not lasted the "warrantied" 2 weeks both times, and the second round I had 2 nails start lifting, which was incredibly painful and left my nail demolished. I removed the dip myself at home safely and will be resting my nails until I search for a different place again. My nails were not "warrantied" either time, I paid for them to be redone early. The staff are nice, but I definitely felt like there was less attention during the second session and it was rushed, which is probably why my nails don't look buffed enough to have held the dip. They also dip your nails in the powder cup instead of making a separate dipping space, so your fingers will be dipped in dip that anyone and everyone else has been dipped in. The price is right, $50 for a set of dip nails isn't terrible. I don't know if I just have bad luck with dip nails, because everyone else appear to be having amazing experience. I hope I find a place where I can have similar experiences.
For the price, I expected perfect nails. It costs $33 not including tip for shellac nails. As you can see in the picture, my left hand's nails are all kinds of messed up. You can see the layers of nail polish on my second, third, and fourth nail. If you look closely you can see some bumps on my middle nail. I mentioned it to my nail technician but she told me it was normal... She was really nice so I didn't want to annoy her about it if she really thought it was okay. I'm just upset that the price is so steep for that kind of result. I definitely don't think I'll be coming back.

I've been coming to this place for well over a year now and they are always so nice. I always book online and have consistently gotten dip powder on my natural nails. I know that nothing will ever last as long as the first time I got dip bc of how strong my nails were back then but they hold up pretty well every time I've gotten it and the price for service is great. My first time going to Roosevelt Nails Bar + getting dip powder done. I paid a little extra because I got 10 different colors, but I love how they turned out. They have a ton of colors to choose from and my technician was great! You also get a shoulder/upper back massage which was awesome. Definitely will be coming back. read more

I haven't gotten my nails done in forever so I really wanted to make sure I went to someone good. Once again, thank you Yelp for helping me find this place! I wanted to get my nails done for my wedding week and I got exactly what I wanted. Me, being the procrastinator that I am, started really looking for a place to get my nails done the day before I needed them done. Luckily I found this place was still open and decided to give them a call to see if they could squeeze me in for a mani/pedi. Thankfully they agreed they would be able to take me in for the pedi but I would have to come back in the morning the next day if I wanted to so the pedi. I happily accepted and throughout the whole scheduling process, they were very helpful and accommodating. My pedi was great and they gave you complimentary water while they did their work. I opted for the real basic pedi with regular nail polish. The next morning, I arrived for my mani and I was really nervous because like I said, I hadn't gotten my nails done in a really long time. I also didn't have long enough nails for what I wanted so I decided to get nail extensions. The whole process took about an hour and I came out with beautiful nails! My technician did a great job and stopped at times during the whole process to make sure I liked the way she was doing my nails. My pedi and mani lasted 3 weeks without chipping and I couldn't have been happier with the results. Plus, their prices aren't too bad at all. My mani with nail extensions and gel polish was only $45! I'm a nurse and unfortunately can't get my nails done all the time but if I could, I would definitely get them done here! read more

I recently requested an appointment via yelp for the first time here and I was not disappointed! The reviews seem pretty accurate. Of course, every nail salon has its pros and cons. My original nail salon increased its prices because of Covid19 (which is reasonable) but I decided to try a new salon anyways for fun. My old salon was definitely more friendlier and talkative than this one but I honestly don't mind at all. I'm paying for a good service on my nails, not for someone to chat with me! And they did an amazing job on my nails. I got a shellac manicure and chose a color that I don't usually get. A grey-blue color when I usually choose pink or white. It was so encouraging when everyone around me said it was a great color choice! :-) The application was extremely even and smooth. This was probably the best cuticle and skin removal I have ever gotten as well. Plus, I have really dry skin and eczema around my fingers and I'm glad that no one here made me feel self-conscious about it (usually someone would make a comment no matter where I go). The lady who cut my cuticles did a great job. I really don't have any complaints! I would definitely come back here. The only thing is they don't have any plexiglass dividers between you and the nail artist or between you and other customers except at the cash register, which a lot of other salons have now because of covid. I didn't really mind but just a heads up for those who are sensitive! read more

This was my first time coming to this nail salon, and I'll definitely be back again! I got a gel pedicure, gel mani removal, and SNS dip with extension for a great deal. I felt that my nail tech cared about the quality and the small details of my manicure and offered follow up services if I needed it anytime. She also made recommendations for my mani for both the additional dip and shapes to make sure that my manicure will look the best for my wedding day. I definitely felt pampered and taken care of well during my visit. read more
I went for the first time today for a full set dip nail service. I did have to wait a little bit but it was worth the wait. I was treated very well even though it was the end of the day. Everyone had a great open and welcoming attitude. Tram ( I believe that's her name) the owner was very detailed and gentle with her work on my nails. She was also very neat as well.I can't wait to explore more of there services. Glad I found my new go to nail salon. read more

Tram does FABULOUS SNS Nails!! The pictures below are my own Nails with the SNS dipping powder. I am very hard on my nails and they were beyond awful when she first worked on them. This dipping powder has saved them & is helping them grow! Everyone here is extremely friendly and they do awesome pedicures with hot stones and massage if you get the mid priced pedicure. This is a smaller relaxing salon. I love how they are so attentive to the clients needs! read more

Decided to treat myself to a mani and pedi. They had plenty of colors to choose from. They offered me red wine --I gladly accepted. I gave it 3 stars because I felt that the manicurist was a tad bit lazy on taking off all the previous gel I had on. As a result a few of my nails have some bumps from my last mani. For the price and tools that they use I wouldn't go back. She did a great job on the shape tho! read more

Really cute place, definitely the most cute nail salon I have been to so far in Seattle. 100% going back! Everything is cute- from the pink mini nail drying fans to the wall decor! This place has excellent Client service because they actually care about your well being, and take their time to serve tea, massages and does not give you death stares when you walk in. In addition, I want to mention that the massage chairs are really nice and comfortable, unlike other places. This place is very clean as well. The only downside is that this place is small, feel free to bring a family/friend and expect to not sit with them (which is fine for me) read more

The place was clean and the staff were friendly. Just be aware this place only does dip powder and shellac, no acrylic. My nails came out pretty good given it was my first experience with dip powder though! I enjoyed my time. read more

Stopped by as a last minute customer. I had no scheduled appointment. They were extremely accommodating. The customer service was superior to other nail places I have been to. In addition one of the fastest. I had a simple pedicure with a gel nail colour change. They were like the speedy Gonzalez characters. I got a massage, red nails paired and removal plus new nail polish done in less than an approximately less than an hour. They have held up pretty well... well it's been 48 hours read more

I got my wedding nails here ! They did my trial three weeks before and my final right before I flew to New York for my wedding. They were beautiful and wonderful! They did such a brilliant job! It last 3 weeks no cracks or chips. I am only coming here now! read more

Diligent, meticulous, perfectionists (in a really good way). Everything from customer service to attention to detail with every nail was perfect. I went in for a shellac manicure. I'm not familiar with the waxing process at the end, Idk if it's to seal everything in or for moisturizing the hands afterwards, but it was lovely and smelled amazing. Of all the nail places I've been to, this is probably one of the best. I'm happy I found this place, and it's walking distance from my house! Would recommend to everyone in the area. read more

What type of manicure would you recommend for nail biters trying to kick the bad habit? Do you have any experience working with nail biters?
You should get dipping powder. We have several customers who had the same habit like you. After few times getting dipping powder, they stopped the habit and their nails grew out nicely.
Are your fake nail extensions gel-based? I would like to grow my real nails but I know acrylic is too harsh. I am looking for gel extensions.
We do fake nails with dipping powder, which is much better than gel base and acrylic.

We don’t do dipping powder on toe nails. It will be $100 for deluxe package with dipping powder on finger nails.

You meant shellac top coat? Yes, we do have shellac top coat. But for dipping powder, we use dipping powder top coat.
