One of the best acrylic manicures I have ever gotten. Everyone there knew exactly what they were doing and were able to listen to nail requests and accommodate them (like I wanted shorter acrylics that weren't bulky and looked natural). It's also super cute in there, kind of a hidden gem. The only downside is that it was more expensive than other acrylic manicure services, and fills are more expensive as well. read more

Called around 4:15pm for a walk in nails and pedicure, I was able to go in at 4:30pm, got my pedicure and they were able to do gel x nails for me which came out amazing!!! I have gone to multiple places trying to find a place to be my go to spot and this is definitely the one. I've gone to places where they are so rough that they cut my cuticle so far it hurts for days after or where they don't really do what I asked but I was asked a few times if it hurt (it didn't they are so gentle) and honestly compared to the picture I prefer my nails. It really was that amazing! I'm so happy with the service the nails, the design and quality of them. Anyone visiting Seattle or living here should visit them. read more

had my nail few times at this salon but i would never come back (i loved jenny and may they are the only one) I asked for just ONE nail extension because I accidentally cut that finger and wanted my nails to be the same length. The nail tech had the audacity to question why I would even want that???? SERIOUSLY? Isn't that literally your job? Then she gave me this super curved extension, and when I politely asked her to file underneath to fix her mistake, she goes, "Why do I have to do that for you?" "How does this nail hurt you?" Are you kidding me? And don't even get me started on the shape LOL I asked for coffin nails, and somehow ended up with ALL different shapes across ten fingers. When I pointed it out, she said "Well, that's your natural nail shape. You can't have coffin nails." Girl, I've had coffin nails before, many times, from other techs who knew what they were doing. That excuse makes zero sense. And then the kicker, she told me, "If you want it the way you want, do it at home yourself." I'm sorry, what?? I'm paying you for a service. I have every right to ask for what I want. before you get snarky with your customer, maybe focus on actually doing your job right. Be a decent nail tech first, then we'll see. read more

They told me they dont have enough workers and it was a difficult time where some days they have a lot of customers and then some times they dont. DO NOT COME HERE. Honestly they do a great job technique wise. However, their service is the worst I've ever experienced. Every time I come here they are arguing with another customer about appointment scheduling issues, now I understand why. I had an appointment at 4, I got there 20 mins early (they don't have to take me early I know) but they made me wait till 4:30 before I got up and left. They were also no where near done with the other clients they were helping so I knew when they asked me to "just wait a little bit longer" they were lying. In addition, they never once apologized for making me wait. They have always had me wait 15-20 min even with an appointment and I never complained but they also never apologized for it. One time I saw them tell a client it was their fault because they booked online late. They are very hostile here and not people I want to give my money to. Another reason I am going to stop coming here is because of their pricing. $15 for French tip $15 for chrome?? And on top of that a design is $5 per hand. Ridiculous to think you can charge that much acting like this. Do better. read more

They do an amazing job. Nails turned out to be so cute and they take their time! Good atmosphere!

The only reason I am giving this a one star is because a 0 star is not an option, my friend and I had to leave because the service was so bad. I went with my two friends, My nail tech took an hour and a half to remove just gel polish (first picture is what I had to leave with). My other friend wasn't started on at all within the hour and a half even though we all three had appointments and no one else was in the shop. My third friend got stuck with the nails in the other photos even though she spoke up about what she wanted over and over they wouldn't listen. There was also a hair in her nail and she kept asking them to remove it but the nail tech refused. The workers also got mad/were trying to stop us from taking photos. Don't go here. read more

Probably the worst nail experience I've ever had. I called ahead and made an appt for a mani pedi (both gel). Two different people worked on my feet and hands (all good). The lady who did my manicure was rude and inattentive. She did a very sloppy job on my nails (basically cured the polish to my skin). When I pointed it out, she proceeded to pick at my cuticle until my finger started bleeding. Only then did she realize she messed up. She didn't charge me for my mani considering it was a really shitty job and she made my bleed but I obviously paid for my pedicure. Hindsight 20/20 I shouldn't have. Turns out the gel wasn't cured properly and that same evening I felt the gel oozing out. A picture is attached as to what it looks like now (something I paid $40 for plus tip). I'm in Seattle from out of town and just wanted a gel Manicure while I had down time. It was an uncomfortable, unorganized setting - and it took almost 2 hours for my manicure. I would understand if they were taking the extra time to do a good job, but my nails came out mediocre. The worst was the poor customer next to me! She said she was in the chair for 3 hours (for a gel acrylic full set) and uncomfortably kept begging them to be done - she had an appointment and they wouldn't let her leave!! I used to go to a place all the way out the suburbs, but Welcome Nails is hands down a better sea. Rose is super friendly, genuinely interested in her conversations, and very detail oriented. I've gone here a few times, and they always get me in right away--they even took on my special request for 4th of July nails this past week--the result you can see is fabulous! Also as far as waxing goes, they are very professional and have 2 rooms so it doesn't get backed up. She makes it pretty painless and does a great job to make sure she waxed everything properly. Rose was very sweet from the time she picked up the phone at 6:30pm on a weeknight til my toes were all done and she said goodbye to lock up for the night. They close at 7pm but if you call them and are in need of a pedicure in a pinch, make sure to talk to Rose and she will get you in! There is a parking garage for easy free parking as well. I came here on a Tuesday night with my friend and Rose and her associate were friendly, warm, and provided great service. The oversized massage chairs looked new and were super comfy - talk about total relaxation and you're not sitting on a plastic chair cover! Also, I haven't really ever had the experience before at a pedicure where the person working with you talks to you and is engaged and genuine. Rose IS THAT PERSON! She is wonderful! It's been a week and my toes still look like I just walked out of the salon. I can't say enough good things about this place. This is my new go-to pedicure spot. $20 Spa Pedicure is the best treat yo-self reward for a tough week. They also offer affordable waxing services. Next time I will have that done! Very clean and nice place. It's a little newer, and not located in a high traffic area, so it wasn't crowded at all when me and a friend stopped in on a weekday afternoon. They had a number of comfy massage chairs that they let us sit in for over an hour while we were waiting for them to start, and waiting for our nails to dry. What a way to relax after a long week of classes... The manis and pedis themselves were decent quality, and reasonably priced at $20 for pedicures, $12 for manicures, and $30 for both. While this is comparable to other places nearby, I would definitely recommend Welcome Nails over, say, Sally's Nails on the ave, mostly for size issues. I mean, what's the point of getting nails done with the girls if you can't even all sit together at the same time? read more

So not worth your money. I called to let them know I was coming in and she told me to get there within 10 minutes because she had an appointment coming in. I never saw the person with the appointment come in while I was there. Then, I was getting a gel manicure and I already had gel on my hands and she was so rough with taking the existing manicure off that my nails are sore. And she kept dipping my hands into acetone and then boiling water from the kettle. She never asked what shape I wanted my nails since they're pretty long and she just cut them all the way down and rounded them and didn't even bother to check if they were even. She was doing my manicure very hurried and I didn't feel like she cared about what my nails looked like in the end. I picked a shimmery polish and she didn't even attempt to recreate how it looked on the example nail. And the only thing that made this service a manicure was that she rubbed a little bit of cocoa butter on my hands after my nails were done curing. I am never coming here again. read more
