If you want a great leg and foot massage paired with a gentle and soothing pedicure, go with Windy. She has strong hands for massaging my tired legs and feet but gentle on my toes and cuticles. She chuckles from time to time and asks about your day with a soothing smile. She's so good natured and jolly and doesn't rush through the service. I went with the deluxe pedicure package with milk + honey and I think it's a fair price at $50 especially with a massage and then she uses the hot stone at the end for another round of massages. There's soft Vietnamese music that plays in the background and I dozed off several times which never happens to me at a nail salon. I've had some pretty bad experiences in other salons in Seattle so as long as she's still working this will be my go to for a pedicure. read more

I've been here twice now and have been so happy with the service and my nails! The staff here are friendly and welcoming. They take delicate and meticulous care if you need polish or fake nails removed. I've been to places where they're rough and not careful but that is not the case here. I've been to Nina Nails a few times before, but the service this time was extremely disappointing. I went in for a pedicure, and the technician skipped key steps--no massage, no cuticle oil, and no care given to whether my nail polish was dry. I was left sitting in the chair for 15 minutes with no follow-up. It was only when I walked to the counter to pay that she showed up--just to ask for a tip. First time coming here after the switch in ownership and I'm so impressed! Wonderfully clean, friendly staff and relaxing atmosphere! Each item they use a product it smells so good! Also, I Felt like I wasn't rushed and was at ease. Tested out with a basic pedicure but I will be buying their special ones next time! Only feedback I'd give: 1) their regular polishes seem old and discolored. Only found a few that haven't been filled to extend life. I booked an appointment for 2 pedicures and a manicure, and when they started the pedicure we were told they couldn't do any design one color. I specifically came to this nail salon bc the reviews said they do really good nail design. 30 mins into the pedicure and worker comes over day they can't do any design bc didn't have time time lady was truly rude and respectful. If they don't have time then don't book over the phone for services you can't provide. Super frustrating now I have nails that are not at all what I was paying for. I used to come to this nail salon when it may have been under different owner. Now I remember why I stopped. Rudeness, time management on the salons part. Wonderful foot and leg massages and hugely relaxing message chairs. Nice view out the 2nd story window into a beautiful tree. I don't know Ha and Wendy's secret but my nails have never chipped. Went in for a simple cleanup nail trim mani pedi and they didn't even trim toes until I had to ask. Barely did the minimum that I could have done at home in 10 minutes. Not my first mani pedi, but they try to do as little as possible assuming you don't know anything. Don't go here. read more

Went to Ninas a couple of weeks before xmas because Apollo was full. Booked a gel manicure and regular pedicure. Had to remove existing gen on hands. The did the common cotton doused in nail polish remover but then picked up the little electric sander called a DRAMEL to remove the existing gel. I expressed my concern and asked if technician could just use the remover, she said this was faster. I left the place with good looking nails and hacked up cuticles. I had gel removed mid January and TRAGICALLY saw that my nails were effectively sanded down to nothing. I am writing this review 8 weeks after having my nails done at Ninas and still dealing with nails splitting down the middle (owie), nails folding where nail hits the skin and many many snags on thumbs. Lesson for me- trust my instincts! I should have refused the use of DRAMEL on my regularly very healthy nails! read more

Just experienced 100% racial discrimination. I walked in at 3:35 and asked for a pedicure. Only 2 people are in the salon being serviced. The lady asked me to come back tomorrow. I left but immediately called and changed my voice and asked for pedicure availability. I was told yes, to come at 6. Funny how things work when they don't know you're black. After that happened I went back in and asked who answered the phone. Then I asked why was I told to come back another day but the "person" on the phone was told to come in? An excuse was given but I asked well why wasn't I just told to come back at the time the person on the phone was told to come in. No answer. So yeah, they discriminate against black people so if you're black or against discrimination of any kind, don't give this establishment your business. read more

I went to get acrylics removed and a gel mani, and the man removing my set went to try and pop them off with a nail tip before I stopped him and asked to soak them off properly. So that wasn't great. But then I got handed over to Max, who gently and meticulously gave me a lovely manicure with neat, simple gels. The woman next to me looked like she was getting a nice tidy gel manicure as well. Needed a fill last minute and made the mistake of giving then another chance-worst mistake. Don't expect them to change, they are through and through not worth any of your money. They removed my polish that was done perfectly by my normal nail tech (she was on a long vacation)-and after they started the fill that is when they decided to check of the color they I chose when I walked in-was not actually available. Very uncool. Then I quickly chose another color, they tried so hard to convince me that color was the one I chose. I've done chrome and know every color there and elsewhere-to asked for a lighter blue chrome and they were delusional on telling me their chrome silver was the blue. It wasn't. I them chose a 3rd color-oh no they didn't have that either. All of these colors are displayed in the baskets for people to choose from. Their baskets are extremely outdated, chipped af and they don't at all guarantee most of them are actually available. The second tech cut my finger again with their awful, old, unsanitized tools. She filed them down so raw and tries to gaslight me when I mentioned it to her after letting the first pass. Go anywhere else or just wait for your normal angel tech to be available before you make any mistakes. read more

They kept telling us they don't have time while they entertained walk-ins. Most employees can't communicate in English so it gets difficult to explain them anything. The nails were different than what we chose (from their own catalog). Pedicure was ok. The overall service is not clean and the finishing isn't good. I really used to love coming to this place! The staff is very friendly and I love their appointment system but I am so upset with my nails!! The acrylic powder that they use is BAD!! I've been getting acrylics for the past 10 years and have never experienced so many broken nails, until I started coming here. I just got my nails done last week and three of them already broke! This happened a few months ago as well and wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt but never again. They charge so much for poor quality.
