Absolutely incredible Dazzle Dry manicure from Leila this morning. I'm in town for the weekend, and my polish was chipping. I found the reviews here on Yelp and immediately knew this was the place. She was so warm, friendly, and communicative - and responded right away to my inquiry. She got me in so fast, and I could not be happier with everything. Her space is *pristine* - I have never seen a nail space so clean. I'm talking hospital-level clean. It is so clear that she is passionate about what she does, and her skill level is next level. She shaped my short, natural nails perfectly, and even identified some high stress areas (I work with my hands) and filed in such a way to reduce future breakage. We did a beautiful semi transparent pink polish that complimented my undertones, and she suggested a subtle French tip which I absolutely love. The end result is a super subtle, super beautiful "my nails but better" look that I adore. My only gripe? - that I live in Philadelphia and she's in Seattle and I can't see her every two weeks. Seriously the best manicurist and esthetician I've ever had the pleasure of visiting. And I can't wait to book with her again the next time we're out this way. read more

Fantastic service! Leila was willing to take a late evening appointment to accommodate my schedule, and her service was amazing. I'd never had a dry pedicure before, but my feet felt so incredibly soft and smooth when she was done. Not to mention looking fantastic! I'm so glad I found Leila! I was looking for a new place for pedicures and a friend suggested trying Dazzle Dry instead of gel so I looked up Dazzle Dry providers on their website and Leila showed up. At the time, she had online booking disabled, so I shot her an email from her website and was AMAZED at how quickly she responded and we moved to texting. She was able to get me in for a pedicure the very next day at a time that fit in my schedule perfectly-- WIN! She texted me instructions on how to get into her secure building that were super easy to follow and I loved the level of security. You would've never known this was my first appointment as Leila greeted me like we were old best friends. We happily chatted away and she changed the playlist to songs that were popular from the year I graduated high school-- so fun! First, I picked a color from her extensive Dazzle Dry color selection. Then she set me up in her chair which was super comfortable and situated with beautiful views and she got to work. If you've never had a dry pedicure, you need one! I LOVE Leila! Honestly, i hate getting my nails done, but it's a must since I work in fashion and if i do my own nails it looks like I hired a kindergarten class to do them. I had the opportunity to see Leila last month when I came out on a last minute trip from the East Coast to see a friend. Because the trip was so last minute, I didn't have a chance to book an appointment with my regular girl, so I went to Leila based on a recommendation from said friend's sister. The first thing that I loved I absolutely loved is that Leila had a vegan option! I was a little hesitant initially because, coming from a Connecticut winter, my feet were absolutely NOT sandal ready, but Leila was absolutely magnificent. She was professional, confident, but also friendly and warm. It was such a relaxing, calming experience. I return because she not only does an outstanding job and is the most detailed aesthetician I've ever had, she also accommodates my schedule and mood and adapts accordingly. She offers a waterless pedicure so don't be surprised there is no soaking. The polish lasts much longer than other "wet" mani/pedis, it's a much more sanitary process and you still get hot towels, paraffin, etc that results in super soft skin. Updating my review because I'm disappointed in my results. I was only given one layer of gel & after a week and a half, it started to peel off heavily. I hated the way it looked so I've now completely removed the gel I had done at the salon. It should not have been that easy to do, it usually has to be removed at the salon. I went to her for a manicure several years ago and was not impressed. No water, no soaking, no massage. This manicure did not feel good - in fact it hurt. She used her dremel in a way that burned my fingernail beds. She was sharp and irritable with me. where do i even begin? i saw leila for the first time in spring 2021. i accompanied a friend for her wedding mani/pedi on orcas island and the experience was nothing short of fantastic. my friend and i credit leila with setting the vibe for the whole weekend--her energy was that positive. leila takes the idea of what it means to get your nails done to an entirely new level. she is not only incredibly educated in her craft, she understands hospitality in a way that i've never experienced before. as she was wrapping up my friend's mani/pedi, i was secretly feeling envious i hadn't thought to book a pedicure. leila must have intuited that because she offered to stay late and squeeze me in for a pedi. the degree of intuitive caretaking on her part is unmatched. fast forward to present day and i sent another friend who is based in seattle to leila. she came back having experienced the same degree of care and thoughtfulness. in fact, she loved it so much we decided to make a weekend of seeing leila together and it was just as i had experienced the first time seeing her. as for the services themselves, she does dry mani/pedis, which i admit at first i was a bit skeptical of. but believe me when i say, my feet have literally never felt softer or more looked after. the elimination of water from the process results in a much more sanitary experience and i've seen leila personally unwrap each tool she used on me from autoclave pouches. as if all of this wasn't enough, leila herself is a product know-it-all. she invests tons of time and energy into researching the best possible products to offer (dazzle dry, angel feet, gehwol) as opposed to what might be trending. in summary, go see her if you are looking for the ultimate in self-care! read more

I scheduled mani pedis for my daughter and Me. When I arrived I was immediately disappointed because it is only Leila in the shop so it had to be done one at a time, and - there was no foot soak. In spite of that, I was willing to give it a chance. But when all was said and done, I did not get a massage nor did my daughter, as described in services I paid for. And the cuticle care was done with an electric tool that spun. It actually hurt. And by the next day, my cuticles were ragged like they are when clipped instead of properly cared for. Plus my daughter is a smoker and Leila made some rude remarks regarding the smell on my daughter and Leila's sensitivity. Nothing on her website says anything about that. And in a business full of smells, some of which can be intense, it was very surprising. Leila is a gem in Seattle for nails. I've been going to her for over two years. I am a busy professional working in SLU and hated getting my nails done prior to discovering Leila because I always found it stressful and very time consuming. Now, I realized it doesn't have to be stressful. I trust no one else to the point that for my destination wedding, my shellac nails were 1.5 weeks old on my wedding day because I couldn't risk trying a new place vs. peace of mind going to Leila (and the nails still looked great after that long, just pick a nude color!) Going to Leila is a very different experience from typical nail salons. Things that turned me away from getting nails done in the past were that my cuticles are thin and easily cut and I'd leave with bleeding cuticles, the language barrier and not being sure of the result, and generally feeling uncomfortable about working conditions. In contrast, Leila does not soak / cut cuticles (she does dry mani with a tool that brings cuticles down) and she is a lovely person to chat with. Because it's just her and the client, the appointment also feels more personal. My favorite discovery with Leila is the pedi without polish. In the past I felt like getting a pedi without polish was a waste, but my feet looked so luxurious after she cleaned them up that it's my new go to even in summer. It was a last minute appointment for a much needed pedicure during a flight layover in Seattle. It was worth getting a car and making the drive to downtown Seattle. She's very clear on how to enter her building form 4th st where you enter via a security guard. Her studio is on the 9th floor with a direct view between buildings of the Seattle Space Needle. Never had a dry pedicure before, but was very pleased with the care and attention to the health of my toes and feet. Plus Leila is just a treat to spend that hour with, full of stories and experiences that made the time go too fast. I would plan another visit if my travels take me to Seattle again. read more

This salon offers non traditional "dry" nail services. The shop owner was knowledgeable about the advantage of these dry services and it was interesting to learn about. Pros: Pretty little salon space, very clean and simple. Unlike other reviews listed, we had no trouble finding the shop. But again from other reviews it sounds like she moved. The pedicure was great and my feet have never felt smoother or better. Cons: For the price, I expect a tip top shape mani/pedi. However, the skin around the nails was not cared for in the way you get from a traditional mani pedi. Lots of hang nail/hanging skin remaining. Furthermore, the owner told me that she could guarantee the specialty dry polish to last for two weeks, yet I had chips on nearly every nail by the following day. Well let me start that it is a dry mani pedi experience! And I do know how it should be done, because in countries like Russia and etc its really popular and everybody does a great job. Here, not so good. I have one lady she is doing great, but she leaves in Bellevue, kinda far. Not very convenient. Long story short: I needed mani pedi ASAP, last minute close to work. Found her, she was nice and everything. Mani pedi was good looking at the beginning. But I needed it for a trip, hoping it would last at least 2 weeks (shelac). First days it was okay. Then it just looked like I didnt do any mani pedi, I just painted my nails. My skin was all dry and sticking from all over. Which when I do mani with same russian ladies it doesn't happen. I specifically told her to take care of the skin around. She said yes, but nothing was really done. Painted well, so many layers but not a great job with skin care. By the time I needed mani for (wedding a week after) there was nothing left. I was disappointed, since you dont pay just 30-40-50. You pay around 100 plus tips. So my point is that for that price its not worth it. I'm gonna be going back to my russian ladies. P.S. one more thing that was a little wierd that she was keep asking why I need shellac polish for fall. :( well I was going on vacay first, and wedding was in a week so I needed to make sure that polish stays that way till the occasion! But she keep insisting on doing more natural way, no shellac. That was a little off, I mean I know what I want! Leila was recommended to me by a close friend of mine. Objectively, Leila's Dazzle Dry manicure was the longest any manicure has ever lasted for me (including shellac and gel). I am a cuticle picker and nail biter but the dry manicure, polish, and Leila's maintenance recommendations have changed the way that I care for and stop biting my nails. Oh, and my manicure and pedicure were beautiful! On top of the excellent quality of work, Leila's customer service is outstanding. She is polite, friendly, and very focused on your comfort. She happened to have pink champagne for me while I was there. I've never felt more relaxed and pampered getting my nails done. I cannot imagine going anywhere else ever. I've been going to Leila since July 2021 and she's been amazing. I get a pedicure every 3-4 weeks and my feet are totally cured of dry skin and cracks. She's been a wizard! Been getting my nails done the last 8 years with all types of higher end, lower end salon around the world. I have to say this is one of the worse experiences. Not only Leila hurt my nails multiple times during my basic manicure, she also charged me extra $10 for removal without telling me up front. My simple manicure came out to be $75 without tips. So I just moved to Seattle and was looking for a place to get a mani and pedi. I went to several places (all of which said they were open on yelp but were not) and found Leila. Boy, was that a mistake. After a belittling conversation where she yelled and basically called me an idiot for having a non-Anglo name while convincing herself that it was ok to call me "Carmen." She also had the most horrible attitude and said she was "booked till 10!" After that, I felt pressured into making an appointment for the next day. My Fiancé had a very urgent medical emergency the day of my appointment. I didn't make the appointment seeing as my future husband is more important. She then proceeded to call me and in an extremely rude manner basically told me that I'm a horrible person for not calling and cancelling. She had "waived away customers all day" just for my one appointment? I thought she was the best...she obviously doesn't need my business. So I decided to let her know "thank you for understanding my situation and for being extremely rude and insensitive." NEVER EVER GOING TO HER. If you need a great mani and pedi try Jolie on 12th!
