It is so clear that she is passionate about what she does, and her skill level is next level. She shaped my short, natural nails perfectly, and even identified some high stress areas (I work with my hands) and filed in such a way to reduce future breakage. We did a beautiful semi transparent pink polish that complimented my undertones, and she suggested a subtle French tip which I absolutely love. The end result is a super subtle, super beautiful "my nails but better" look that I adore. My only gripe? - that I live in Philadelphia and she's in Seattle and I can't see her every two weeks. Over the summer, I got a classic gel manicure and gel pedicure here for a special occasion. I was excited to give this place a try as I read the good reviews under new management. I came early morning and was the only customer inside. During my pedicure, my toe was cut and it started bleeding and hurting. I understand accidents can happen and was calm about it. However, I was then surprised that the tech tried to hide the mistake by pouring blue liquid over my toe whenever I looked away and moving on with the rest of the pedicure as if my toe was not bleeding or in pain. It was stinging from the liquid. The tech tried to cover up their mistake so I wouldn't notice but I spoke up multiple times to say that my toe is hurting from the cut and there was silence from both techs who were doing my manicure and pedicure. They continued on without pausing and checking to see how I was doing even after I told them it hurts. I was very uncomfortable throughout the rest of the service. I fully paid for my services $100+ at the end including tip but did not leave satisfied. No discounts were offered and I barely got an apology. My toe was in pain as I walked away and was so scared of it getting infected. I don't think this is acceptable service. There was a lack of accountability, professionalism, and care/comfort for the customer.

I've been a loyal client of this nail salon for over a decade, and I can't recommend them enough! My nail care journey started over ten years ago, and this salon has been a constant source of support and expertise throughout. Over the years, I've experimented with everything from classic manicures to intricate nail art, and the technicians here have always been incredibly skilled and accommodating. They truly listen to what I want and offer helpful suggestions when I'm looking for something new. What I appreciate most is their dedication to nail health. They use high-quality products and take the time to ensure my nails are strong and healthy, even with regular manicures. I've tried other salons in the past, but none compare to the level of service and expertise I've found here. If you're looking for a nail salon that prioritizes both beauty and nail health, look no further! Whether you're a nail novice or a seasoned pro like me, you won't be disappointed. I love the vibe here Five stars! read more

Called for an appointment . When I was in there i just had a little hesitate of how small the salon is. But any way picked the colors and got ped by a lady and a gel man from a guy. I notice that a woman and a man came together I guess mom and son asked for 2 pedi , the guy answer nicely that he could take 1 ped right a way and her son would wait about 10, 15 minutes because the other lady is working on a ped, they all said no and walk away with mad, rude and unhappy face and said loud "walkin welcome". The point is that walk ins welcome only if they are not busy and available, if you don't have time to wait then don't come in when you see they are busy or even call first. Perfection live to it name respect appointment is good service. My toe and nail 5 days later still shine. Recommended to call first. I just moved to Seattle, after look all reviews on yelp did called to make appointment for a ped and man. As soon as I showed up, I knew it this salon is a go to if you need to have your nail done. Here are reasons why I said that: 1 the guy I guess is the one in charged of the salon is respect appointment customers, he asked a walk in lady step in ahead of me if she could wait a tittle bit because he had more appointments come in and she did happy ok with it, by doing that he make all customers happy without delay appointment. 2 he's nice, patient to peaky customers, other two lady there very quiet, but he's the one who talk if customers like to talk. After the lady did my ped was quiet, but he did my gel manicure nicely and did talk a lot since I like to talk when have my nails done! Great customer service. Good quality. Will happy to come back read more

Unfriendly and bad service, keep telling peoples to pay cash! Came in on Tuesday July 3rd before flying out, got gel manicure from young skinny girl the quality is normal as others salons, she never have smile. Not sure if she is the owner or not but the way she act like she is. There are two ladies plus her, one is older and one is young like her! The reason I think she is the owner because I saw she yell at the old lady for my understanding I guess the old lady ask her what or who to do next, and she just act like YOU DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO? Bad respectful to old people compare to her age! Con: maybe she wants all cash keep saying 10% discounts on cash! Common guys quality are same as others but attitude, treating and respecting are poor read more

This is a good salon, great customer service! I just had my gel manicure done by a man and it was perfect. He's very patient to customers! I witness that he was respect appointment! I also was there and witness a customer got mad at him and throw a pen on the floor because he charged her extra $5 on her gel manicure, she doesn't like that! But he was right it take the tech extra time to sand off the old gel polish! And also her acrylic was long too. $5 is not that much compare to time that they spend on her! I was walking on Lenora St., following the listed address since it showed the salon should be there, but I ended up in front of a residential, gated building and honestly thought I was in the wrong place. I called the business, and they told me it was actually located in an open plaza behind the building. Since I was already standing right there and happened to get lucky when a man was coming out, I was able to go through the gate. Once I passed through, it was an open plaza, but I still couldn't find anything called Westlake Nails Spa. I saw a nail salon called "Funny Bunny Nails and Spa," but nothing with the name I originally searched for, so I had to call the business again to figure it out.
