This is my new favorite spot for a manicure. Jimmy was so gentle on my nails and they've never looked cleaner. The attention for detail they've got going on here is awesome! Highly recommend and good pricing :) read more

Update: My Gel X is already coming apart after 2.5 weeks on 4 finger nails. I was hoping all nails would hold on for another week or so. I also got a reaction the first week but didn't think anything of it. There was gel attached to my skin underneath the gel x nail, on 2 nails. My thumb and index finger. I didn't think it would be a big deal since it's my first time getting nails like this done. I resulted with contact dermatitis (a rash) on my arms and wrist. I have reactive/sensitive skin. As much as I love the design and how nice the people were. I will not be coming back. I may be allergic to the Gel X Cat nails use & the retention does not last long. Thank you read more

I had my nails done 3 days prior by a place I refuse to name... so I came here to have them redone. It was my first time at this salon and I will definitely be back! It's small so keep in mind that it gets busy fast. I really appreciated Jimmy's attention to detail. And I love that they offer online booking! I went with gelx. read more

Update: I came back to The Cat Nails & Spa after two years, and I'm so glad I did! The salon is still as welcoming and clean as I remember, and the service is top tier. Chloe absolutely killed it with my nail design. She's so creative, detail-oriented, and really listens to what you want. My nails turned out even better than I what I asked for! If you're looking for beautiful designs, great customer service, and a relaxing experience, this is definitely the place to go. I'll definitely be coming back again (and not waiting another two years this time LOL)! read more

Great service! Loved my nails! We made appointments and were running ahead of schedule, so we popped in to see if they had time earlier. They were able to fit us in, and did an amazing job. Probably the best gel manicure I've ever gotten! read more

I came across The Cat Nails & Spa on Yelp. Booking an appointment on their website was easy and received confirmation within 13 minutes. Didn't have anything in mind for the manicure so I let my nail tech decide the color and design. Shoutout to Emma ! You've created the best almond shape nails. Simple and cute design that will match with all my wardrobe and accessories. Acrylic Pink and White + Gems =$75 Would like to see the spa embody its name with more cat decor and design. Drawback: The cleanliness and safety of equipment, and electrical instruments need reinforcement. The e-files were dusty, and the buffer was previously used. read more

overall, my experiences was awkward. I didn't know what to do. I didn't know how to explain myself nor would I even know if they even knew what they were doing wrong. I told them multiple times what I wanted and what I needed. Nothing came out how I wanted it and now two days all of my nails are falling off, including the acrylic and the gel the last set I had on was on for almost 3 1/2 weeks so I definitely know that it's them and not me read more

Service requested was given, but was quite aggressive when it came to filing my nails and using the machine to remove the old, I asked if she could be more gentle on the finger that was hurting because she filed so quickly it got hot with no response, acrylic flies into my face and into her hair and she continues to file, it also smelled of urine when sitting on the side where the air conditioning is maybe it's the filter or bathroom all the way at the front. And lastly, I noticed how everyone else was asked if they wanted a massage and I was not they were also very considerate a gentle with everyone else accept me. So yeah pretty interesting place. Thanks though Annie read more

My girlfriend got her nails done here and I have never seen a worse put together nail salon. Their customer service following up with the issues was awful in addition to a poor quality when putting the nails on. These nails lasted at most a day and they looked terrible right as they were put on. Did not fit to the size of nail and the quality was similar to a brittle. read more

I had high hopes for the cat spa especially after seeing the reviews. Made an appointment and went in for a gel manicure. I was immediately seated, which I appreciated. The nail tech who did my nails was fairly new but I didn't think much of it. You can tell from the pic, my middle nail is a coat darker than the rest. I wanted them all to be that dark, but that's my fault, I should've spoken up. You can also see a chip on my index finger and this was the day after my appointment... Overall, the paint application is not consistent. They do give you an arm and neck massage after the manicure which I enjoyed. Lots of colors to choose from and the salon itself was well-kept. read more

Annie is amazing at her job. I've visited the salon to get gel x nails and recommended this spot for my family as well. She's one of the best nail techs in belltown. However, her employees have a little bit more training to do. I would recommend calling in advance and booking an appointment with Annie! Thank you The Cat Nails & Spa, I will return again next month read more

The nail art was pretty, but my gel nails chipped and began to peel within a few days. Considering most gel places I go can last a few weeks, it feels like poor quality. I will go elsewhere for gel and nail art in the future. read more

I've been having a hard time finding a good nail salon in seattle! Everyone sucks! A patient recommended this place, and I was pleasantly surprised! A little rough on inside and outside, but they know what they're doing! Shout out to Annie! She did me well! They do dip here too! I was there for an appointment and added stuff I didn't sign up for, they accommodated me and were very sweet. Highly recommend read more

I try not to leave bad reviews, but will make an exception here. I have pretty healthy, natural nails and seldom ever have a break after 5+ years of dips. I tried Cat and was surprised they filed my old dip off instead of using acetone. This weakens the natural nail. They also do not use a base coat. The next morning, one of my nails snapped in half. Two days later, another snapped in half. They actually charged me to glue my natural nail back together. read more

I went to get my nails done at The Cat Nails & Spa and they did not disappoint! Annie took care of my manicure and I chose Gel-X for my extensions. She was very kind and gave me the "jelly nails" that I was looking for! Chloe was helpful and showed me the nail polish samples to make sure that I could pick the nail polish color that I wanted. The shape, color, and length of my nails are perfect! The staff at this nail salon are experts and know what they are doing. Thank you for my manicure Annie! read more

The Cat Nails & Spa - Nail Salons Near Me - Seattle, Washington

I have never left a yep review and I have to for this place because it is the worst nail salon I've ever been to. I have been getting gel x for year and never had worse quality. When getting them done I noticed they were using cheap nails, did not match each nail to every finger and did not let them cure enough under the light. After the first day my nails were cracking down the middle, I came back to get it fixed. And then over the next week more kept cracking and falling off. I came back to get them removed finally after 2 weeks from initially getting them done because my nails just looked so horrible and it was the first time I had off work to be able to come back to the salon. I told them what happened and they still made me pay to get them removed. I've never experience such poor service and poor quality nails. DO NOT COME HERE FOR GEL X read more

I absolutely love coming to The Cat Nails & Spa because of the amazing work that they do. I've been to the salon a total of 3 times so far within these last few months & every time, I've left satisfied with the work that has been done. The staff is very professional, friendly, & they've treated me well every time. When I'm really stressed out or depressed, I like to go get my nails done & these ladies are awesome with what they do. I'm a forever customer of their establishment as long as they are in business out here in the area. read more

my full set acrylic popped off completely after a week! all the nails started to lift days after my service.. acrylic is supposed to last a minimum of two weeks but this barely made it to a week.. i'm giving a three because I also got a gel pedicure and the person doing my toes went to WORK!! he did great with the shaping, filing, and painting and also the massage. If anything, I will come back here to get my toes done, just never my nails again read more

The nail technicians were all very nice. My single color gel acrylic manicure + regular polish pedicure cost $100 pre-tip. I did also receive quite a few cuts from the e-file. I'm curious if this is a one time thing or just the norm here as I have only visited once. read more
