I would give this place 3 stars and a half. They are nice and did an overall good job but if you're looking for nail design I would look elsewhere. I had an apt across the street but didn't have anyone to do the service i wanted to went across the street to have good nail and they were able to sit me right away. The design didn't look exactly like the picture but they tried. I paid $55 which I thought was a little too much for the type of design they did. Been here twice, the first time they did a great job on my manicure set. Second time I came in for a removal and a new set, and during the removal, my nail stylist was aggressively and messily filing down my nails to the point where she was missing my nails and filing my skin instead. She filed off a chunk of skin next to my pinky's cuticle, and didn't address it or apologize, just cleaned it off and continued working. I let the service continue for about 10 more minutes, but the pain became so unbearable to the point where I had to stop and just pay for the removal, and just get a regular manicure ( no polish even). not sure why my technician was in such a rush to the point where she injured her customer, but would not go here again. read more

I called on a Friday to schedule to schedule a pedicure and manicure for the following Monday. Fantastic experience here! Experience: Spa pedicure was fabulous, complete with calf scrub and massage, warm booties on my feet, and a lot of TLC. Manicure was efficient and done while I was getting the pedicure. If you're not a gel girl (like me), get the quick dry nail polish for the hands; looked good for 10 days with all my normal activities! Service: Great! I got a little overwhelmed when they asked what kind of pedicure I wanted (settled on the upgrade for the green tea spa pedicure, which was fabulous as a birthday treat), and they never asked what type of manicure I wanted (gave me the classic, which was also perfect for my needs). Aside from that, everything was great. They were friendly, funny, and did a great job. They also encouraged me to get the quick dry nail polish for my fingers, which was 100% worth it! Ambiance: Not bad! Light, bright, and pretty quiet. There was only one other station in use, which made for an intimate experience. I was so comfy that I also didn't miss not having a massage chair and jetted tubs. If they cleaned up the aesthetics a little and offered me a beverage, it would have been 6 stars for sure. But honestly, I didn't need it. I'll probably make this my new spot here! UPDATE: Came a 2nd time. Service was very efficient (in and out in an hour). Felt a little rushed but solid for my needs. I wish I could this place zero stars. It is that bad. I made an appointment for a manicure because my nails had finally gotten long enough to have a manicure. When I arrived, I told the woman at the desk that I had a problem with my nails splitting so I wanted a full manicure. Eventually a young woman came over and took me to her station. No "good morning", "how are you"; nothing. I told the same thing to her I told the woman at the desk; I wanted my nails shaped and a full manicure but no polish. Quite literally before I even finish my thought, she had picked up the clippers and cut all my nails down to the quick. I was speechless. She never did anything to my cuticles or any other part of a standard manicure. She asked me if I wanted polish and I suppressed my desire to ask her "what are you going to polish, my fingers? I have no nails left". She was finished in 15 minutes; the longest 15 minutes of my life. I will say this; she was smart enough not to ask me if I liked my manicure. I spent $27 to have my nails cut all the way down to the quick and now they are sore. Lesson learned; I will NEVER go back there and thankfully there is another nail salon 1/2 a block from Have a Good Nail. I will say this for Have a Good Nail, they really know how to rip off a customer. read more

I might just become a regular after my first visit. First, everybody there was so pleasant, and that's not always a given at nail salons. The people working there were so kind and social and friendly. Second, they had room for a walk in. Third, the whole atmosphere was calming and lovely and clean. Fourth, their prices were reasonable and affordable, even for someone who doesn't work for big tech. I had a routine manicure, and when it was completed the results didn't meet my expectation. They did a great job of trimming my cuticles, but the nails were trimmed unevenly and a bit ragged. When I have had manicures at other providers, the underside of my nails were cleaned of any debris. That wasn't the case in this instance. Also there was just a slight buffing of my nails so that there were still slight ridges. I was underwhelmed with the results. Received excellent pedicure with callous removal. The entire process was wonderful. We began with a hot soak in a bowl with fragrant salts.... For $57 we recieved a sugar scrub exfoliation all over feet, calves and shins, special attention to calloused with a metal scraper first and then a smoothing stone. We had a deep moisturizing with a cellophane wrap which was then covered by a heated "slipper". Reflexology massage and hot smooth stone massage... toes clipped, filed and cuticles trimmed and pressed back. Finished with 4 coats of paint...base coat, 2 color, 1 topcoat and then allowed to sit in same chairs for 5 mins before being led to toe dryers. I got a pedicure and gel manicure here almost 2 weeks ago and I can honestly say it is the best mani/pedi I have ever received. I just moved from LA a few weeks ago and this place was conveniently located on my block. Wow, did I get lucky! My gel manicure was by Shur and it is perfection. I've never had a manicurist put so much detail and time into my gel mani before. Even after they were finished she looked over every single nail and noticed a spot she didn't like on one and took the time to fix it and repaint (I never would have even noticed). My pedicure was just as fantastIc! I wish I would have gotten the persons name who did my pedi but she did such a great job that when I went to get a massage later that week the massage therapist said "wow, your pedicure is amazing". Not to mention, they were so incredibly friendly, I felt so welcomed! The spot is also beautiful. I will definitely not be going to any other place in Seattle! Ps. Eyebrow wax genius. I went in on a whim because I needed my eyebrows cleaned up desperately and my normal threading spot is far far away. I brought my friend from out of town and she also got her brows done. Knowing it would be slightly risky without any wax reviews, we just went for it. We each took about 10-15 minutes. Joyce, (assuming the owner), was very detailed and particular and did an excellent job. She shaped them nicely and didn't over pluck. She also had an eye for what I needed when I didn't have a clue what could be an improvement. I felt like my Asian Aunt was just going for it and felt very trusting. Sterilized and clean, so cutesy and relaxing, this spot was a gem and I'm excited to try their organic pedicure. I had a really wonderful time at this salon today, and I am so happy it's in my neighborhood. This salon is special for several reasons: 1) there are only 4 pedi chairs (which are not those raucous massage chairs but Eames-like comfy chairs with pillows!) and maybe 4 mani stations 2) no jet flow tubs -- each tub is individually lined and hand-poured, sanitized & super clean feeling 3) no formaldehyde used & no chemical smell -- like in EVERY SALON I have ever visited 4) lots of wood in the design, creating an earthy vibe 5) mellow music and very little chit-chat, no TV blaring = RELAXING 6) kind, fast, funny & expert techs wearing masks 7) organic products such as lotions 8) lots of free parking in upper QA 9) hot stone foot massage? Really?! Amazing! 10) friendly phone customer service, too -- able to get an appointment same day within 2 hours of calling. Not sure if that's usual on a Friday, but much appreciated! Hand a very relaxing pedi here! They took a last minute reservation, and I was the only one in the salon for a little while, which was awesome. Unfortunately, two other ladies came in and sat next to me for pedicures having a normal volume conversation, but sounded like volume 10 because the three of us were the only ones in there. I know this isn't the salon's fault, but just worth noting since at a larger salon there's so much happening that it becomes white background noise, as opposed to intense not-trying-to eavesdropping. Overall I had a really nice experience here! I got a classic manicure and the Green Tea pedi, which included a 10-15 min foot/leg massage. I would have liked a bit longer of a massage for how much it costs ($60). Joyce and Le were friendly and accommodating when I asked about doing a design for my manicure. A couple of days later, it's still looking great. They weren't super upfront about charging me extra for the design, which I would have appreciated, but I did expect to pay something for it, so it's not that big of a deal. This place is definitely more expensive than some of the other QA salons, but I do think the specialty pedicure options (there are a few other choices aside from the Green Tea) and the more intimate environment make it worth it. They do take walk-ins, but it's a small salon so I think it's best to make an appointment. read more

True spa pedicures here. There are no massage chairs, but you won't miss it with the over the top quality of their services. I went for the Honey Pack pedi and was immediately impressed from the beginning with the individual lined basins making me feel completely at ease with their sanitary practices. The nail trimming got all hang nails and cuticles cleaner than I've ever seen them. The staff is kind and friendly, no side conversations between them. This is by no means close to my home, but I'll be making a point to make it back for future pedicures because I'm spoiled now. read more

I have been coming here for a while and loved it. Unfortunately I won't be back. Today I went in for a gel manicure. It was my first time getting gel so I did not know what to expect. Everything seemed normal, I picked a color, she put multiple clear coats on, and then she put a powder on. I thought this was gel because I picked the color from the gel color list and I made an appointment for gel. When she rang me up she said "$35 for gel + $12 for chrome powder". I was shocked and confused because I was never made aware that this color was $12 extra. When she noticed my surprised expression, she said "I told you and you said ok". I told her I never heard her say that, but she still charged me $47. This is a fantastic nail salon, it has been hard for me to find a good one. Came in feeling very confident with this salon. The atmosphere is very relaxing. I felt like I was tucked away in remote country. The salon design is not very smart because like other salons who use tubs, this salon has bowls they bring to you at your feet, where they fill with hot water using a pitcher. I've never seen that anywhere before , very different in a good way! Though the water doesn't stay warm. Prices are okay. I Paid $60 for a shellac pedicure. The worst part of my experience was deciding to wax my eyebrows. The lady who waxed my eyebrows literally said "omo" which translates to "oh my god" in Korean. She knew she messed up. She took so much hair off my eyebrows, they haven't been this thin since high school. My eyebrows are two totally different shapes. I look as if I'm raising a brow at someone. Sadly I have to update this review to remove two stars. For the good, the actual manicure turned out nice and I felt listened to when I requested some adjustments to the shape of my nails and cuticles. Now for the not so great...I made an appointment last week for 2 pedicures and changed it about an hour beforehand to 1 regular manicure and 1 pedicure. At the time of the change, they said it was ok. When we arrived, the pedicure appointment started on time, but the manicure appointment started 20-30 minutes late. I also only scheduled a regular manicure and did not realize that did not include any sort of hand massage, where in the past there would've been a short massage. When I asked about it, I was told that it depends on the technician and if you want a hand massage, to request the upgraded manicure service. Finally, I didn't notice the nail tools get any cleaning as they moved from one client to the next, which wasn't my favorite thing to see. Also, once they used the one paper towel they put down on the manicure table, they never replaced it, so my hands were just on the table at the end of the manicure which wasn't a huge deal, it just didn't feel as clean as it could be. read more
