I was gifted a pedicure, and it was amazing! My friend and I both came and because it's a…read moreone-person business, we just took turns; whoever wasn't getting the pedicure sat on the couch and we could chat. Liz (I assume, based on the other reviews. I didn't actually catch her name, oops) was *amazing*. She provided magazines and small snacks and drinks to enjoy while we had our pedicures. I've been to many pedicure spots and hers was the gentlest I've ever had. No tickling feelings, so soft with the clipping and cleaning that I barely felt it. Even the callous removal was gentle! I was so impressed with how the nails looked before even adding polish-- they looked like they could've been coated with a clear shiny nail polish already! The nail polish she uses is also impressively fast dry, which means no needing to wait around for 15-30 minutes. Next time, I'd personally skip the polish because the nails look SO pretty even without it (and I don't usually like nail polish myself).

Thomas was so nice but the quality of my shellac manicure/pedicure was not good. I paid $80 for a service I wouldn't recommend to a friend, which is why I wanted to share this review. It was a cold day so I asked the nail tech to turn up the heat in the foot spa. He felt it briefly and said "it's warm" and wouldn't increase the temperature. This also may seem a little odd, but he didn't put nearly enough lotion on his rubber gloves so when rubbing lotion into my feet it just felt like squeaky wet rubber up & down my legs? Very uncomfortable. The manicure was probably the worst part. He didn't ask how I wanted my nails shaped and didn't trim the edges/cuticles of my nails. He didn't file or buff, just cut them. (And cut them down pretty short.) There was *a lot* of extra polish left around the edges of my fingers at the end. Even when I pointed out to him where there were areas he needed to fix, he said "Oh, it's ok" and didn't fix. And again, there was the weird rubber glove issue. I almost didn't want him to lotion my arms at all cause it felt so squeaky and uncomfortable! The polish color selection just wasn't great. And lastly... the manicure just barely lasted any time at all! The gel on one full nail just peeled off within 48 hours. They were all chipped or gone by 10 days. For personality and friendliness, I'd give these lovely folks 5 stars. And after I cleaned up the cuticles myself, they didn't look bad from a distance. But for value I would not recommend.
