The cheap affordable salons have really damaged my nails without providing any recommendations in how to maintain my nail health after gel manicures. Because of how thin and scratched up they are from the harsh filing/buffing/chemicals used at the cheaper salons, Lori brought back hydration to my nails and used a different technique to gentle file/buff my nails back to perfection. We avoided the gels/extensions and used special polish and treatments to help revive the nails to grow back healthier and stronger. She also recommended supplements to expedite the progress, so I'm thrilled to see the results in a few weeks. The spa is great, on the top floor in a quiet corner with tall windows. The decors and sound of water was so relaxing. Check-in staff was very friendly and offered tea/water. They're running a promotion right now: buy 3 manicures, get 1 free (def worth it IMO), so am looking forward to my next visit/check-up to get my nail health back to 100%.

The best nail salon in Magnolia, and better than any of the ones I've tried in Ballard or Lower QA! The manis and pedis are luxurious -- lots of soaking, exfoliating, moisturizing, etc., plus meticulous polish application. The pedis here actually grow out rather than flake off. The site is tucked away in the corner of a little complex with a neighboring hair salon, pho restaurant, and little cafe -- seems like a hole in the wall until you go inside and see how spacious and serene it is. Have brought friends here from other parts of Seattle for mani/pedis and each of them have raved about it also, saying they'll travel back across town to come here again. Sara is superb ! She's been doing Silk Nails for me since early December and they are The Best I've ever had anywhere. Sara is sweet, and meticulous about her work. Her silk nails are strong and long-lasting, and they look completely natural. I've had all sorts of fake nails for over 20 years and these are the very best. I've been told I have oily nailbeds, and with acrylic, shellac and gel nails I have always had problems with nails "lifting". Not so with Sara's silk nails. They stay on extremely well and last over 2 weeks at times. Pedicures as well -- everything is reasonably priced. read more

I just love Sara and the Lullaby Salon. She is sweet and personable and the salon is immaculate! I've been in for pedicures and for waxing. Her pedicure takes about an hour so it's a bit longer and a bit pricier than some of the busy assembly line nail salons nearby but it's worth seeking out her shop on Thorndyke. For $26 you get a great pedicure that rivals what you'd get at a spa or upscale salon for twice the price. She does a great foot and leg massage and her pedicures last a long time! read more

This is one of several nail salons within 10 minutes of my home. I tried it because of the positive Yelp reviews, and it lived up to the praise everyone else gave it. Sarah was absolutely delightful, cheerfully squeezed me in at the last minute, and did great work (including the foot massage, which as a massage therapist I am picky about). The shaping and the thickness of the gel is ideal and there is a wide variety of options for color and design. The prices are good, the service is great, and it is very clean.
