I've been coming here for awhile and usually love my experience so I'm pretty bummed about this- unfortunately, a product that's not pregnancy safe was used on me (Strawberry Rhubarb Masque) - even though I made it clear I was pregnant and asked if it was a pregnancy safe product in advance and mentioned that some products from that line aren't considered pregnancy safe. I wish this would have been double checked prior to being used on me because even if it's probably fine only happening once and (hopefully) it wasn't in a high dosage.. but was unable to confirm this - it still caused me immense anxiety that I really wish was avoided. I washed it off and emailed my doctor. But I still feel awful and wish more precaution was taken. This was my first facial since becoming pregnant (almost 27 weeks now) and I was really looking forward to it and thought I'd be safe here. Unfortunately I didn't feel safe and I wish I never came now. They don't have pregnancy pillows to accommodate pregnant individuals either. I've been seeing her for two years and I wouldn't be able to maintain the glow on my skin without the tailored formulas (all natural, no chemicals) that she use on my face and back. Yes, back facials are a thing and she does a fantastic job! For facials, I highly recommend the advance glow and lift. It cleanses/smoothens out your skin, reduces inflammation, removes pimples/dead skin, and slims down your face (lymphatic drainage). My only visit to this spa was ok. I had a facial. The chair and position I was put in was not totally uncomfortable but I definitely wouldn't call it comfortable. The facial itself was a contrast of warm and cold items. She didn't explain anything she was doing. At one point, she put something ice cold on my face - turns out it was a refrigerated metal roller. I asked her what she was doing, as my eyes were covered by a mask. She told me, and laughed saying "One of the things I really like about facials is the surprises." Maybe that's your thing, but I'm not a fan of having my eyes covered and getting surprised by what is touching my face and how it feels. read more

I got a custom facial from Audra about two weeks ago and I swear my skin is still glowing (even during the window I usually get hormonal acne flare ups!!). I have combo skin with big pores and she knew exactly what to do .. also quicker and less painful extractions than I've had at other places. Lastly the moisturizer I got from there that she recommended has been sooooo good and I'm actually glad I purchased - little pricey but great quality and will last a while. I went for eyebrow lamination. The service was okay. My only suggestion is that they could use another tool to brush the eyebrows, or maybe a softer chemical for the lamination. I have had my eyebrows laminated about three times before in another place and it was the first time my skin on one of my eyebrows got very irritated. It hurt for a couple of days. read more

Studio was clean and my technician was kind, but unfortunately my lashes were over processed/ruined and when I contacted the business they never responded. I really wanted to like this place due to the reviews and when I got my lash lift it looked fine right after. I followed the instructions the tech gave me which was to keep them dry for 24hrs and brush them out. As the day went by, they slowly started going in different directions - downwards, sideways. I did not touch them at all and was panicking bc I had a NYE party to go to, and so I emailed the studio explaining the situation with photos, and they never responded. Called, no answer. My lashes are now ruined and are in worse condition than they were before I had gotten them done. Unfortunately I'll have to wait for them to grow out so I can wear makeup again. Disappointed the business never responded to try to make it right - posting so others are aware and hopefully do not go through the same experience! read more

I've been coming here for lash and brow tints and they never disappoint. What I love the most is how easy and flexible it is to book my appointments. Most places have aesthetic places have extremely limited hours and booked/blocked for weeks on end. The shop is cute and located in the equally quaint Phinney ridge. Parking is easy, never had to circle the block. I'm terrible with names but the gal who does the all facial aesthetics is very pleasant and flexible to all my specifics and quirks. I visited Babyface last week while on vacation in Seattle. The spa was just a few doors down from our friends home, so I walked in and made an appointment for a facial. I was surprised they offered Sunday appointments, which was super convenient. Audra did my facial and it was truly one of the best facials I have ever had. Audra was very knowledgeable and helped me pick the facial best for my skin. It was incredibly relaxing and my skin felt and looked refreshed when I left. Audra recommend a skin care product which I ordered online and just received - it was great having a professional guide what I needed. I had a facial recently with Eva in anticipation of my upcoming wedding. It was FANTASTIC. Not only was her space a beautiful and calming environment. I could also see her conscientiously disinfecting all tools and high-contact surfaces and also removing possible risk factors such as blankets (use has been temporarily discontinued because of COVID). Regarding the actual skincare, that was excellent too. I had some light extraction done (surprisingly painless) and a moisturizing treatment. Eva made sure to answer all my skincare questions and explained what she was doing along the way (she could tell I was curious). A week later, my skin feels just as bright and radiant. I seriously did NOT know that my skin could glow like this. It looks like I'm wearing flawless foundation and highlighter all day when I'm not wearing makeup at all. The overall effect is that my skin tone looks more even and my face even looks slimmer because of the brightening effect of the treatment. 100% recommend Babyface Spa and Eva's services. I don't really have anything to compare to as this was my first set of lashes, but my impression is that Eva is a true artist. She created a very natural, but slightly dramatic, look for me. Exactly what I asked for. The process is a bit intense, so not something I'd personally do for an every day look. But, perfect for a special occasion! I am ride or die for Brenda's sugaring services! I will start off my saying my standards are HIGH. I want my Brazilian sugaring experience to be fast, clean and long lasting. I started seeing Brenda 4 years ago when she was at Sugar Plum. She left earlier this year and recently started back up in the area at Babyface Spa and I could not be happier to have her back. The sugaring takes about 10 minutes and I am in and out in 15 and it lasts much longer than after anyone else I've tried.
