I got a lash lift and tint with Amanda and I am very happy with the results. I got a lash lift at another place and wasn't super happy, but with Amanda she was very quick and efficient. Results are amazing I am so happy, I will be back. read more

Loved my PRX Peel experience with Amanda! She was friendly and super knowledgable. Would book here again :)

Such a great spot! Really love coming here, Grace has been amazing, she's incredibly friendly and very fast at sugaring.

Great apt for bikini wax and brows with Nyah. Excellent, efficient service. Highly recommend!!

The best facial I've ever had! Beautiful space, high quality products, and neck massage was a bonus.

This place was fabulous. Amanda was amazing and took super extra care and time on my eyebrows and making sure we got the tint right and all of the waxing was thorough. It's a cute little place on beacon hill. Would recommend! read more

I came to the Skin Firm to get a lash lift for the first time and had a fantastic experience! Grace was a sweetheart and made me so comfortable. I will definitely be coming back for other treatments in the future! read more

I had a massage by Samantha that saved my life!!! Is that an exaggeration? Maybe NOT! I was dealing with horrible hip and back pain and a massage was my last effort before going to the doctor and signing up for PT. I was able to get a last min appt, told Sam everything that was going on and we decided it wasnt going to be a relaxing massage and instead we were getting to work. It hurt! We were working through some serious pain. It's been 4 days since the appt and I feel sooo much better and was even able to get back in the gym and resume my regular workouts. I'm so thankful and eager to book another session. What else do I need healed?? read more

Andrea is the BEST esthetician ever! Andrea has worked my eyebrows into a shape that I could never have imagined. My face has never looked better, and I get compliments all the time. Andrea is kind, thoughtful and a great listener; I enjoy seeing her every two weeks. I could not fathom anyone else working on my face. Thank you, Andrea! read more

I came in on Valentines day for a last min brazillian and Andrea was AMMMAAAAZING. Considering the holiday I know they were busy but I felt absolutely no rush. I've been getting sugared for years but I've never had someone be so meticulous. I was so satisfied with her work. I can only see myself getting waxed by her from now on. Andrea if you see this I totally lost your venmo on my way out when I was trying to tip you, but I promise to get it next time I come in! (Service was so good this has been heavy on my mind for the past 2 weeks haha) To anyone considering trying this place out-- DO IT! read more

I moved from out of state and was looking for a place to get my eyebrows done. I came across the skin firm on Yelp and loved the work done so I booked an eyebrow shaping with Amy and oh my gosh, I am beyond happy with my results. Amy was incredibly professional and kind and took into consideration the shape I typically like on myself. I also didn't feel a thing when she was waxing so it's safe to say she has the magic touch. I'm so glad I found this location and got to work with Amy! I look forward to returning. Thank you Amy! read more

Andrea did my eyebrow shaping and first time lamination. They turned out great. She got me in right away, no wait time, and my eyebrows look great! Will be going back soon! read more

The Skin firm provides the best facials in town. I almost don't want to write this review and keep them all to myself. Everyone at the Skin Firm is talented and provides a results driven facial that is as relaxing as a massage. I also love the back treatments. It's a facial for your back that clears breakouts right up. You won't regret coming in here! But be warned, everyone knows how great this place is so they often boon up a month in advance. read more

I've been seeing Amy for over 5 years. She's the BEST! She's a perfectionist so I'm always leaving super happy. She makes me feel super comfortable and gives me great advice about my skin. read more

Love the apothecary vibes and aesthetics. That plus the music was the recipe for relaxation. I had my first facial with Emerald and it was amazing how much she did in an hour. That plus a little hand arm shoulder massage! Every detail from the little movements around the eye area to the hot towels was divine. I'll probably come back for a lash lift soon. read more

My experience was absolutely amazing!! Sydney was my aesthetician and my service was nothing but perfect. Ive gotten sugared for a while now but this was the best experience I've had. She made me feel comfortable, relaxed and respected! This is definitely the place to go let me not mention the prices were reasonable and service was excellent! 10/10 recommend! read more

I got a facial and an eyelash lift from their newest esthetician and apprentice: Emerald. I don't know what it was , but Emerald made me feel so safe and snuggly - not to mention the amazing smells and feeling of the products on my face. Thank you so much Emerald- excited to see your progress in a little while because I'm definitely come back:) read more

The skin firm is so Amazing! I had such a good experience here with my sugaring services. As an LGBTQ+ individual, I feel very safe getting my services done here. Malari was my Aesthetician and she was wonderful. She was very detail oriented and went over everything several times to make sure the hair was removed and I appreciated that attention to detail. The scheduling was super easy, and I was able to do it online. They are using LOTS of PPE and other sanitary procedures to minimize risk for clients and themselves during these COVID-19 times. I highly recommend The Skin Firm and Malari! read more

I had a really fantastic experience with my lash tent and lift at the skin firm. Georgia was patient and walked me through every single step. For context, I'm not the kind of individual that likes anything artificial or intrusive when it comes to my body, hair, and skin. I don't wear a lot of make up and I've only worn lash extensions for my wedding or moments like that. I was really nervous about the whole thing because I know I have thin eyelashes and not that many to begin with. I decided to take the plunge because my eyelashes have become really long lately and were not curling with mascara as they usually did. This experience was really well worth it. Again, Georgia was pretty incredible. The whole appointment took about an hour and 15 minutes but I didn't experience any pain and just got to sit back and relax. The results are so flattering. It's only been two days so I'm looking forward to seeing how long it lasts. read more

The Skin Firm is truly amazing. The decor, music and snacks are amazing, and the online booking system could not be easier. Also, the maintenance pricing is a real game-changer. Last fall, I started seeing Debra for regular facials to combat some texture/redness issues, and the results have been fantastic. Debra is a skincare genius- she is always happy to answer questions, explain her process and adjust based on your feedback. Overall, Debra is delightful and easy to talk to- I now see her for my brow wax/tint and lash lift/tint, in addition to facials. She's the best! read more

Love all the services I've received here. Most notably, getting my lashes done. I get my regular lash lifts by Emerald and she's truly the best. I tried my hand at a couple of other places before finding The Skin Firm and haven't gone elsewhere since then. I'm always stunned by how my lashes look every time and how friendly and and comfortable the experience is. There's never a hair out of place and my experience here is consistent. Absolutely recommend. read more

I loved the skin firm! I had an eyebrow/lip service with Amy and she was fantastic. I normally am fairly self conscious about my eyebrows/getting services but I felt super comfortable and Amy did a great job. I loved how everything turned out and I'll be coming back! read more

My first visit was fine. But I knew I should try out the other aestheticians. Second time I had Georgia for a maintenance 60 min hibiscus facial. She is amazing. Pressure was perfect for all massage aspects, extractions were efficient, feet covered in hot towels, cold stones for the face, which was refreshing. I really felt like I was getting everything in 1 hr. The space is really cute and relaxing. I love the tea selection and snacks. Price is quite fair esp if you come every 5 weeks for maintenance. I already booked my next appt. Excellent spa! read more

Sam is the MOST AMAZING massage therapist, and she's what keeps me coming back to The Skin Firm! I suffer from anxiety and am a CrossFit newbie, which led me to try and find a more regular massage situation as an investment in my overall health. I'm lucky that The Skin Firm is right up the street from me, and was so glad to see they added massage as an option. I had my first massage with Sam and was absolutely hooked from there. She is so incredibly skilled at what she does, and really listens and does everything she can to make your experience amazing. Massages with her are so relaxing and healing. I would love to keep her a secret but that would be greedy! Go see her now! read more

Easy to book an appointment online based on who you want your esthetician to be. Lots of street parking all around. Shop is small but cozy and personable. The staff here is friendly. I've been to the Skin Firm twice where Georgia performed my facials. She does a good job on my oily and acne prone skin. I'll continue to book my facials with her. read more

Go nowhere else but here. Nicki is the best Aesthetician in McKinney. Super friendly and knowledgeable.

The Skin Firm is the real deal. It's at a great location with lots of street parking and the aesthetic is great. Cute but not too futzy and without the tacky generic world music that you typically hear in spas. The treatments are top notch, the staff is all excellently trained and they really have a deep understanding of skin care, hair removal and what it's all about. Plus, you can go get a hand made tamale at the market next door for a $2. It doesn't get much better than that! If you are a regular, you can get maintenance pricing for your services. If you haven't tried them out, get thee to The Skin Firm now - don't wait! I promise you won't regret it. read more

I feel so lucky to found this place! All of the staff that I have had service from (Sam, Amy, Georgia, Andrea, Malari, and Emerald) are kind, knowledgeable, and have their own energy/personality about them. This review I will focus on Emerald because omg have I found a sugar magician! For history I have had sugaring done for the last 7 years and while most are technically the same, there have only been two rockstars. The first was a former employee at the Fairmont but she sadly moved away to NYC and since then all of my sugaring experience the same BUT I now found Emerald! She makes my sugaring experience pain-free! It's VERY hard to find a sugar specialist who can do this because it's a specific flicking technique that they do and I don't really know how hard it is to learn but like I said she is the second person in my history of sugar to have done it. If you want a pain-free sugaring experience (especially around your lady part), go to Emerald. read more

The Skin Firm is the best I've found in Seattle. The maintenance facials really do get clients coming back and at a really reasonable price! My pores have been reduce tremendously and I can't thank them enough. Also Georgia is fantastic. I told her I forgot to add brows to my appointment and she was able to fit it in on top of everything. I highly recommend this place!! read more

Just saw Malari for a facial, and it was AMAZING. The vibe here is great. Not the stereotypical spa vibe with bamboo and stones everywhere. Very modern but casual, with chill indie type rock playing on a low volume. The table/bed is pre-warmed, so it was downright delightful to get comfy on before we started. Everything Malari used smelled and felt great, and a couple hours later my skin feels amazing. read more

I have been to at least 4 lash ladies hoping someone would finally get it right, but gave up each time. Most lash artists I've been to did not consider my lash integrity, lash type and eye shape. I'd always come out with dramatic, thick and heavy lashes that would weigh down my natural eye lashes and they just never looked right. I saw Lindsey's work and loved that she went for the natural look so I decided to give it another go. I am so happy with Lindsey's work and she keeps me coming back. She takes the time to consult, style, and she always uses the good stuff. She is so fun to chat with and she just gets lashes...and me:) read more

This spa is an absolute gem! Amy gave me the best facial I've had in a very long time. I left with my face feeling amazing and refreshed. On top of that, she gave some amazing hand, foot, and scalp massage that I honestly didn't even expect to get with my facial. They also offer a lot of really great products for sale. I will definitely come back here many many more times! read more

Winter came. I Flew to the east coast. I ate a bunch of garbage Christmas food. I flew back from the east coast. I'm not 25 anymore. Events aligned in just the right way that I found myself seeking out my second facial ever (the first I had when I was like 23 on vacation in Europe, and when I think back on my 23-year-old face getting a facial I want to tell it to put my money away and go spend it on a slightly nicer dinner, or something cool from the gift shop at the modern art museum, or to buy some lecherous Frenchman a drink, because it needs those things more than it needs a facial). Anyway! I did some internet sleuthing, and scheduled an appointment at The Skin Firm with Malari. The waiting area is small, but well appointed, and I don't get the feeling its the kind of place where very many bodies are occupying it at once. They've got water, and tea, and dishes of candies, which I love very much, but skipped this time cause Christmas. The rooms where the face magic happens are good sized. The lighting is soothing. The table, and various tinctures, leave it feelings like an old-timey doctors office, but like a magic kind where people definitely don't die of diseases that we can now prevent and cure with vaccines and modern medicine. Malari was a treasure. I explained it was my first facial (I couldn't bring myself to tell her about the one I had when I was a baby-woman), and she took the time to instruct me on the prep on my end (there's a gown, and a hair net, and you get to decide how naked you want to be while you're getting your face done. I left my pants on), and explain what it might feel like for me as she was performing the facial (there are hot towels, and cold goos, and wet steams that blow right into your face, so it was nice to be prepared for all those varying sensations). As for the facial itself, she was wonderful; slow, and gentle, she has such an easy touch, and seemed to know just what my skin needed. I don't know if you know, but right after a facial your face is kind of goopy the rest of the day, but the next day you look really awesome. I'll definitely be back from my second (third) facial with Malari. I appreciate that that's all the more doable with their maintenance pricing. Hooray for The Skin Firm! read more

I had THE BEST experience here, I came in for a Brazilian with Amy and it had been awhile tbh. She did an amazing job and made me feel really comfortable the whole time. I will be coming back! read more

As a gal with super-sensitive skin, I came to realize a couple years ago that I needed to up my skincare game. Shaving my underarms my entire life, the process left me with pain, discoloration, and a 5 o'clock shadow by noon (awesome picture I just painted, I know). Shaving was just not my thing, and you'd think a couple decades of negative reinforcement would have taught me that sooner. After getting a grown-up-lady-job and moving on up to Beacon Hill, I thought I finally had my opportune moment to delve deep into the world of waxing. With a quick search on Yelp, I decided to try out a wonderful, local little spot just two minutes from my place, and boy, was I in for a treat. Where do I start? For one, the owner, Amy, is FABULOUS! Truly, she is. I explained to her my skin issues and sensitivity, and right away she knew what to try. Over the course of a few visits, Amy had thoughtfully picked out new waxes to use, along with different potions and lotions to apply and soothe my skin. Now, over a year later and after going pretty regularly, I can say that my underarms have become beautiful, painless creatures that love to be out and about on sunny spring and summer days. Amy opened up a whole new world to me where waxing did not just equal a slight pinch of pain, but rather an entire solution to a problem I thought I would have to live with forever. Hair grows back slower, has become thinner over time, the discoloration had faded, and the actual time spent during the visit is actually pretty relaxing. Overall I would highly recommend this place to others with sensitive skin types or those who are conscientious about the types of waxes and ingredients put on their skin. Even though I have now moved far away from Beacon Hill, I still make the trek over to see Amy and The Skin Firm. read more

My first time ever getting a Brazilian and I'm so glad I chose this place to do it. The location was easy to find the lady who did it was tubular. I have a high pain tolerance so it didn't hurt much. Georgia was warm, fast, and efficient. She made it easy. She was really chill almost like a bro. It was a lil pricey but the clean the area before and after with natural ingredients so it's totally worth it. Definitely coming back! read more

I truly have never been to a skin care/waxing place as incredible as this one. I've been going here to get my eyebrows done for about 9 months now and it was one of the best decisions I have ever made for myself. I decided to go to The Skin Firm for the first time after searching on Yelp for the best eyebrow waxing places. Immediately after meeting Amy for the first time I felt welcome and at ease. I have terrible anxiety issues and have been really embarrassed about the state of my brows for a long time, but Amy was incredibly nice and I felt very comfortable a few minutes into my session. The actual studio itself is very cute and clean, extremely organized and you can tell that a lot of thought and time was put into the layout and decoration. There is a comfy couch in the waiting area and you can help yourself to gum or whatever goodies are laying out on the table at the time. It is obvious that Amy goes the extra mile for her clients and it is very much appreciated. I honestly thought that my eyebrows were too far gone (very sparse and uneven, short), but Amy has transformed them into something I had never thought possible. She is extremely knowledgeable and knows exactly what she's doing. In 9 months time they have grown into brows I have only dreamed of. Amy has definitely given me my confidence back and I appreciate it so much. If you are thinking about going here, do yourself a favor and just do it. I promise you, you WILL NOT regret it. Amy is so kind and genuine and is the best in the business. I have only gotten my eyebrows done here but I cannot wait to start doing facials and start skin care services. I am 100000% sure you will be happy with your results, whatever service you get done!! Thank you Amy from the bottom of my heart!!!!! read more
