    Only by appointment. Oh well.
    Dean M.

It's unfortunate that their main sign on the sidewalk talks about shopping the skin care in store. It lured me in as I am a skin care enthusiast. Upon climbing the stairs to the entrance of the business, I was greeted with a locked door. Mixed message. I can't really give a rating as I was not able to experience anything here. Be aware that they require appointment for service (I guess even popping in to shop the skin care lines). I will look at the lines they carry and maybe order online. As the owner has reached out, I found that a 3 star was fair and when it says by appointment only and I didn't see anyone inside, I would be finding myself leaving a message on an answering machine. As her choice of words didn't win me over as a possible new customer, I will not step foot in here.

Cake Skincare - specifically Stacie - is saving my face! Seriously. Recently moved to Seattle for work and developed severe acne due to dryness (PNW area), stress (the job), and hormonal changes (age, I guess?). After failed treatments from local dermatologists, I sought an aesthetician. Was referred to Stacie by a friend and set up an initial consultation. The moment I arrived, I felt at ease! Stacie is insanely knowledgable, sociable, and answered all of my questions. She took time to understand my current skincare routine and crafted a plan to help address my specific concerns. The treatment: Arrive early. Street parking can be tough to find in Cap Hill. The studio is open, relaxing and has an aromatic scent I'm really into (cyclamen and lavender-ish). I undressed and tucked into an elevated, heated bed for my treatment. So luxurious. Started with some extractions to clear out my blackheads. I worried it would be painful but Stacie was thorough and super gentle. To clear out the bacteria in my pores, got a high-frequency ozone treatment. Then finished off with a blue light LED to even my complexion. That was all foreign language to me, but lemme tell you - I am shining like the sun now! Still some acne but seeing vast improvements in the first week after my session. Stacie sent me home with product samples to use and followed up with me a few days later to check on my progress. I appreciate the thoughtfulness and dedication to her clients! Overall really great experiences. The product + treatment combo seems really impactful and I can't wait to come back next month!

I was referred to Ingrid (they/them) at Cake by a friend who's eyebrows are consistently poppin. I want to start this review by saying that I have always struggled with over plucking my brows. It's a tale as old as time: pluck to shape, get too fast and loose with it and now you have a top heavy string-bean tailed brow (or maybe that's just me?). At any rate, I was ready for a change. I was ready to do things differently. So I went and saw Ingrid. Now I can't lie, I was *very* hesitant when they initially asked me to grow out my brows for three months. There were many days in that three-month period when I'd look in the mirror, feel especially heinous and think deeply about pulling out my tweezers - just a little, you know? But no. I persevered. I pushed through. And it was 100% worth it. I definitely felt like a monster walking into my initial Cake appointment; eyebrow hair was a mess, patchy and bald in some places, long enough to flap in the wind in others. But there WAS new growth, and I was optimistic about what that meant for their potential. And Ingrid was a gem about everything. I didn't feel judged at ALL. In fact, it was immediately apparent that they saw something in these brows that I couldn't see. They worked magic, people. MAGIC. It was an *experience*. I'm not sure what all they had done in the appointment because we'd had such a thrilling convo (I'm a sucker for astrology and reality tv and those topics are definitely their wheelhouse), but after they spent a good amount of time Edward Scissorhanding my brows, they gave me a mirror and I was shocked. My brows were right, tight and shaped for the GODS. I didn't realize how thick my brows could get, but thankfully they did. And this is how I truly know they're an expert at their craft. In sum...this is all to say, I had an excellent experience at this place. Also go see Ingrid. Queer and trans folks especially, go. see. Ingrid.

Cake has been my go-to eyebrow place since I moved to Seattle 2 years ago. I moved away from the Queen Anne location last year and still did the half hour drive to go to Kelly. She is great to talk to during the appointment and listens to any thoughts or questions about my eyebrows. Yes, this is on the expensive side, but I think the service is worth it - I haven't broken out or had a painful experience. This location is closer to me which is great. For this location I would make appointments with rush hour and Capitol Hill busy times in mind for parking. If you're desperate there's a 30 min loading zone that could be open on 11th. It's up the stairs in the courtyard area. This location is bigger with multiple rooms and is so nicely decorated inside! Love the mellow vibe. Also note it seems like they're figuring out their new appointment system online. Be aware of which location you're requesting your appointment for. Last time my appointment request got rejected and it automatically rebooked me for a different time, but I just called to rebook instead. Calling to book might be easier.

Look at my natural lashes!!!! Also, I have zero makeup on, my skin is glowing. Will definitely book with Carolyn again!

I absolutely love this chic spa, and the professionals that work there. Today I had the most relaxing lash lift and 70 min facial with Carolyn Rosquita. She took time to talk to me about my skin, what I was looking for, and what she recommends based on examining. My face and lashes look amazing, and all of the products are not only off the highest quality, but purity as well.

Have had many facials and services from Kelly. She is the best. My skin always looks amazing and the whole experience is relaxing and fun.

I was referred to Ingrid (they/them) by my previous esthetician because she was moving to LA.
