I had a facial with Layla Dalton, and from the beginning she did not feel warm or welcoming. I found myself making small talk to fill the awkward silence, which shouldn't be my job, but Layla made very low effort to do so herself. The facial I received was so-so, definitely not the best I've ever had, and she didn't know much about the products Deity carries, which was offputting. She also failed to mention any extra costs and silently overcharged me $15 at checkout despite me tipping 25%. Shady, misleading, and uncomfortable experience. Jessica (yes, also my name) is THE BEST. I leave every facial appointment glowing. I usually do the dermaplane facial with LED light treatment and collagen mask, but Jessica personalizes the facial a bit based on how my skin is doing at each appointment. The setup in each treatment room is very comfortable, and everything promotes relaxation - soft music, heated bed, dim lights. I like that it's not a high volume spa and there are only a few rooms in the space. Jessica and the rest of the staff are super knowledgeable about skincare, and have recommended products that I count as being the most effective for my skin. Meghan is some sort of miracle worker. She took my sad, dry, pandemic face and worked some serious magic. I got the eye treatment and a regular facial. I came out glowing with rejuvenated skin that looked hydrated and youthful again. The experience was also awesome since Meghan took special care to make sure my sensitive skin tolerated all the ingredients while also making me feel extremely comfortable the entire time. I felt like a brand new woman coming out of there! And a week later I'm still getting compliments from people on how my skin is glowing. Also the space is so warm and welcoming. My appointment with Sara at Deity was a welcome mini vacation from life. I got a brow wax and tried an oxygen facial for the first time. First of all, Sara gave the best facial massage I've ever had. This is a long overdue review of Deity Skincare. I will preface by saying prior to meeting the Deity team, I did not get facials at all. I am a regular but, do not get facials more than once every 2 to 3 months at best. If you're a facial junky, this review might not be for you. I you're a normal "working stiff" that likes great service and glowing skin, this is for you. Stephanie is the very best. She is knowledgeable, kind and thorough. She does an amazing job with every type of facial I've had at Deity (and I've tried most) and the products are amazing.
