I am so proud of her and Stephanie for creating such an immaculate and uplifting place of their own. The space is beautiful, and they are truly artists in their own right. So I've been going to Deity around the time Jessica first started lashes there. The place is charming and has very pleasent energy. I have really short, thin, sad natural lashes. Jessica made sure to choose lashes that were suitable for my lash type and recommended a certain lash length. This is great because they look a lot more natural and last longer. I had my first facial and peel here both with Jessica. Both were amazing!! I have extremely sensitive skin; both made my face radiant, smooth, and helped with my acne. Oh and Jessica also waxes my brows, which also come out fabulous! The other women that work here are always super sweet and welcoming. They always offer water or tea while I'm waiting. read more

I have never "Yelped" before but I just couldn't resist this opportunity to rave about the staff and services at Deity. I have been to many 5 star spas around the world and locally and I have to say that the service and results I have gotten from my last four visits to Deity have been remarkable. Far above what I have experienced at bigger named skin studios and spas. Heather is wonderful with skin and her personal presence is delightful. After my first peel she followed up on the phone the next morning to check in because I had never had that particular type of peel before. I was so impressed at her professionalism and her authentic concern for my well being. Stephanie is amazing with my brows and waxing. She makes what is often an uncomfortable experience, fun, warm with total professionalism. I have bought gift certificates for all the women in my family for both Christmas and upcoming Valentines Day! My husband got a GC in his stocking this Christmas (it was almost as a dare) and went in yesterday and had a fabulous experience. So much so he booked another facial for next month. And trust me, he is as far from a "facial guy" as you could imagine! I've been seeing Heather for waxing for several years. I was very excited for her to hear she and Stephanie were opening their own shop. They have done a great job, it is a beautiful space both the waiting area and the treatment area. It is a little further for me, but totally worth it. While I was on vacation in Seattle, a friend of mine suggested a visit to Deity. (My friend lives in Seattle, has been seeing Heather for her skin care for a long time, and followed her to her new place.) With so much to see and do, I hesitated at first, but I am so very glad that I heeded her advice! The 90 minutes I spent getting a facial from Stephanie were some of the best of my entire trip. I came away totally relaxed, in a state of euphoria---just what you want from vacation but with the incredible added bonus of glowing skin. And friends and coworkers have commented on my skin upon my return home a few days later. If I lived in Seattle, Deity would without a doubt become my go-to for skincare. I have been going to Deity for couple years now and love the place. I have chemical and skin allergies so have to be careful where I go and which products I use. I dislike being so picky but the allergies are real and I can't ignore them. Anyway. Deity in general has a philosophy that I appreciate. Their products seem to be geared toward sensitive skin or at least "chemically" as possible generally. The main treatments I receive are body waxing. Every staff member I have worked with has been high skilled and enjoyable to be with. I think it is more than a place about "skin deep" beauty. A more recent hire is Riana. I look forward to my time with her! Her work is quality. Another staff member who is skilled and fun to see! She has been really good at listening to my skin issues and helping select products that work. She is receptive to hearing about what hasn't been working and then finding alternatives. Another thing I appreciate about her is that when I went back to school and had to adjust my budget she really worked with me. She helped me stategize which products were a good "investment" and which I could "skip" or at least do without here and there in light of my budget. She also helped me work a a wax cycle that allowed me to go a little farther in between but still kept me from feeling "shaggy" or unkempt. This has been so good because I don't feel "bad" about spending less when I have to. I also feel like there is a kind of therapeutic effect in talking with her. So really when I go to Deity I leave feeling better inside and out! read more
