Her pacing is spot on; she flows with what is comfortable to you, but gets you through the service promptly. She is so sweet and personable and I don't know how she remembers all of the little details. Mark is the recptionist. He is sharp and sweet. Her hours are flexible and works with your schedule. Depending on what you're getting sugared will determine the length of your appointment. Getting my girly pampering on. Elizabeth was very professional and did a great job for my waxing. The waxing technique done here is unique and I have never seen or experienced it before, but it definitely cuts back on paper waste that is generated in a lot of places that utilize traditional waxing techniques. At first, I was frustrated because I had a 5:30 appointment but I had to wait a half an hour and so I wasn't seen until 6pm. The guy at the front desk was very kind and felt bad about that happening, so he took 10% off the bill and also didn't charge me for my eyebrow waxing. My regular place didn't have an opening, so I came here. I'm regretting it. First, I'll say the positives. My sugaring technician, Elizabeth, was a kind woman who I enjoyed chatting with during my appt. She made me feel at ease and relaxed. I also loved that I could make an appt via text. Now I'll go into the negative. I've gotten sugared several times, always a staple thru the summer. I have never had irritation or bruising. I did, however, expedite both on this visit. It's truly upsetting. My bikini line on the left side is completely bruised (a spotty, ugly dark red and purple) and my right side is red. Red. Just so you know where I'm coming from: After years of putting up with razor bumps and ingrown hairs if I wanted to do any serious intimate grooming, I decided to give sugaring a try both because the material is less irritating than waxes are and the technique is less aggressive on the skin. Let me tell you: I am a total convert now! I have been to see Elizabeth three times -- once every 4-5 weeks -- for a Brazilian. Sugar Stop is spacious, clean, and relaxing. Elizabeth is an absolute professional and extremely friendly. She works quickly and efficiently, all while making casual conversation (an excellent distraction from both the pain and from the fact that you're naked from the waist down!). The first visit was fairly painful (I'd never had waxing on anything other than my eyebrows, so I can't compare), but it has gotten easier each time. The prices are extremely fair and I am so, so pleased with the results. No lasting irritation, very few ingrown hairs. I've been waxing for the last 3 years but I've always been so curious about sugaring. After coming to Sugar Stop, I can say that I'm officially a concert and will not be returning to the hard wax world. What I love about sugaring as explained to me by my wonderful esthetician: - ALL NATURAL INGREDIENTS: if I'm not mistaken, the goop they use is made up of sugar, lemon juice, and water. No more wondering how many chemicals hard wax is made up of and all the resin. - Exfoliation: As the goop pulls away all the hair, it is also exfoliating your skin which is why the goop turns from a golden yellow color to a gray color. Sounds gross but I have always struggled with waxing because I don't exfoliate throughout the week enough causing so many ingrowns over the years. - Sugaring attaches itself to the hair and not the skin so you don't have to worry about your sensitive skin being ripped away. - Sugaring typically lasts a little longer (4-5 weeks between appts). Waxing breaks the hair a lot of the times instead of pulling the entire root out which is why growth seems "faster." My experience here was great and very informative since it was my first time with sugaring. The Brazilian lasted maybe 5 min. Sugar Stop has changed my life!! read more

Talented and quick and willing to work with me on any schedule changes, etc. She has had other businesses share her spot but when Liz (Elizabeth) with Sugar Stop joined her space, Shelli had nothing but rave reviews of her services, pricing, etc. - as both a client of Liz' and the owner of the space. I have now been to see Liz 3 or 4 times for microneedling and will never go to anyone else. She has a wonderful manner and I felt at home from the first moment I met her. She does her research and takes all the time needed for the procedure, questions, etc. My microneedling results are amazing (I get compliments on my skin continually!) and her prices are more than fair. As far as getting sugared anywhere goes, it is painful to say the least. However, Elizabeth is absolutely fantastic and so professional at what she does. She does it so much faster than other places I have been to, does a great job of distracting you with conversation, and she'll even go in to get little hairs that she wasn't able to pick up with the sugar. My friends and I arrived at the sugar stop this past Friday for a late appointment. Elizabeth was late by 15mins, could not hold a conversation with us, left the room multiple times, AND did not listen to my friend when she said explicitly (many times) that she did not want a brazilian. I repeatedly asked questions about waxing and customer comfort that Elizabeth was unreceptive and incapable of responding too. After 45 minutes, we knew something was really wrong. My friend cried after the appointment because her body was left in a state of distress, mismatched patches of hair in places she hadn't even wanted done, no soothing spray, no clean up of the wax residue, and no privacy to get dressed. My other friend and I confronted the situation, where the man sitting at the front desk seemed unsurprised (which is also extremely wrong). If he already knew that Elizabeth appeared unstable, we should never have been left in the room with her. He waved the fee so easily and we made it clear that we believed Elizabeth had arrived intoxicated (in some way) to the appointment in which my friend was about to experience her first wax. We are SO disappointed and angry with this situation. We will NEVER recommend business to Elizabeth because this industry is one where trust and comfort is so vital when it comes to something physically painful. DO NOT GO HERE. First of all, I just wanna say that this has been by far the best facial/spa experience I've had. To begin with, parking is fairly easy to find and the location was pretty easy to spot. You walk in and are welcomed by Mark who is very friendly and checks you in and makes you feel comfortable. They have coffee/tea/magazines available as you wait. I didn't even have to wait for long and my appointment was on-time. I was greeted by Elizabeth who was very welcoming and friendly! She gets straight to business and her room is very clean and spotless. Very nice area to feel relaxed as you get your services done. I have acne-prone skin so I went in for some extractions and a facial to calm down my skin. Not only was she knowledgeable about the procedure but she also gave me great advice on a skincare routine and even recommended what other services I could have done to have clear skin. Not going to lie, my skin did not clear automatically (let's be real, having clear skin takes time) But let me tell you, after my visit with Elizabeth, my pimples went down drastically and my skin was super baby skin soft days after my facial. I cannot wait to keep going back to have healthy skin. I would definitely recommend! My self confidence has definitely gone up due to how great my skin has been since my visit.
