We ended up staying in Seattle so long I figured I should find a brow person while I was in town. After my first visit I chose not to return as I found the service to be rather awkward. The person I saw had an unprofessional vibe about her that wasn't for me and after I left and could take a closer look, I did not love how my brows turned out. The service was higher priced than I'm used to in the Bay Area, so while I could have potentially seen someone else at the salon, I decided to wait until I got back home and could see someone locally. Very friendly salon with incredible services! Getting an airbrush tan is always a little uncomfortable, but the staff member who applied mine was incredibly kind, fun and chill and made me feel so at ease. Her warm, professional demeanor helped me shake off any self-consciousness I had. The tan itself was beautiful too and looked so natural! My experience here as a whole was just so amazing, and I really appreciated how it's woman-owned and run. Definitely worth the money! read more

Went to them 1 time a few months back and explained my situation. I called while I was on the way because I thought I was going to be 5 mins late, turned out I was right on time. I walked in and was not greeted , but told I needed to wait 35 mins because there was someone who need to get their armpits waxed and they needed to go before me so they could "take their time with me since I'm a first time client"....strike 1. I find out the girl who needs to get her armpits done is not even here yet. She finally shows up and they tell her hair is too short and so she leaves. Strike 2...(also a red flag I have been getting waxed my entire life and actually used to wax professionally, if u know what ur doing the hair is never too short). So that just instantly tells me they r not experienced waxers. It's time to get waxed, the woman , DC, does not smile does not even look at me. WHY?! I unfortunately decide to just go with it and when I'm finally without pants does she begin to talk to me and I share with her how I have had nonstop bad experiences with getting waxed since moving here. She says that's horrible she's the best she knows what she's doing... Cut to the chase , they offer on their website the "Heathrow" which is a Brazilian with a triangle...she had no idea how to wax a triangle , she did not offer shaping, trimming, or plucking , she said "if the wax won't get it the tweezers won't get it" .... that's a joke. That's the exact purpose for tweezers. On every single one of their services they offer "after care" high frequency treatment to breakout prone skin" ...I asked about that since it's listed on the service and says it's included in the price. She said we only do that when needed ....I needed it but that didn't matter to her. Don't offer things on ur website if ur not going to do them when someone asks, don't book appointments immediately back to back so u have a MOMENT in between to make sure things r in order. And maybe , just maybe, don't make a brand new client wait for someone else because u booked poorly. Maybe SMILE before asking someone to take their pants off. I pushed this experience so far from my mind I have been avoiding even googling their website because it was so ridiculous. But I felt it was important to share my experience. read more

Went here to get a brazilian done after moving to Seattle from Texas. My waxer was incredibly nice and our conversation was not awkward at all. I felt cared for as a client and she made me feel welcome in a new city, especially in such an intimate service! She also was very experienced and completed my wax in less than 15 min with amazing results. I was lucky enough to find this hidden gem just a few moments away from where I work - the staff was lovely, helpful, and, frankly, fun to talk with! They helped me to get settled, and Audrey, who did my facial, was kind and very informative. The facial itself was great, and I noticed a difference in my skin's clarity by the next day. I've waited months to write this review so I could try to share my experience without my emotions influencing it as much, but the memory still bothers me and leaves me feeling a bit hurt. I visited Queen Bee for my first ever Brasilian wax in December, before anyone had ever heard of Covid-19. I felt uncomfortable before I even started my treatment. The 'salon' consists of a labyrinth of treatment rooms, like a hive I suppose, with no receptionist to greet and guide you. I should have turned around and left, to save myself the embarrassment. I am visually impaired (legally blind), so I was at a loss of where to go. I inquired at the nearest cubicle and found a stylist working on a customer. When I asked for help she made it clear she was very busy and couldn't help me- made me feel like I was something undesirable dtuck on her shoe. Eventually I wandered around until I stumbled into my aesthetician. The waxing job itself was fine, less painful than I thought it would be. I was asking quite a lot of questions because I was nervous, and talking helped relieve that. Plus, I felt it would be odd to lie there silentky while my intimate bits were being waxed. I was pleased with the smooth results, which is why I gave 2 stars instead of 1. Now comes the part of the experience that makes me mad and sad. The payment is done by filling out your information online. My aesthetician offered to fill it out for me, since it's hard for me to see things up close. How kind and considerate of her, I thought. I gave her my debit card to fill out the payment form- turns out, she used my disability to steal $200 fron me. My bank called me less than an hour later to inform me of fraudulent charges, and fixed things immediately. I wish my trust and my feelings could be fixed as easily. She left me feeling used and vulnerable, and that feeling has stuck with me. I trusted her with my bikini area AND my financial info, only to be let down. The best rhing I can say about my experience at Queen Bee is- At least I didn't get a rash. read more

Interesting setup with a hallway of many different salons all with single person sized rooms for treatments. Forgot the name on the door but it would be good to know that to find this place because it is a bit hidden. My waxer was very nice and obviously skilled. Just need to get used to the higher prices here in Seattle for these services so lost one star for me. read more

I saw Nikayla for the "Full Monty" aka Brazilian. It was hands down the fastest and least painful wax I have ever had. The atmosphere is super cute and clean. Parking was a breeze, free 30 minute parking right up front. Nikayla is very friendly and professional and helped me find the products I was looking for for my after care. I've been going to Queen Bee for facials for over year now, and have been seeing Minorka for facials since she started. Let me tell you, my skin has NEVER looked better! Minorka is so sweet and knowledgeable. She listens to my concerns and always makes low-pressure suggestions, which I love! I am so glad that I've trusted her guidance because she's cleared pores that have been chronically clogged, helped me with my combination/aging skin, and addressed some very stubborn blemishes. Plus, the site is so posh! The decor feels like a fab little get away (you MUST see the gorgeous wall paper in the bathroom!), and I love picking up candles or locally-made earrings for my friends (and myself!) while I'm sipping on water before or after services. read more

CROOKS! DISHONEST BUSINESS! Other customers beware- they try to make you pay twice for appointments! Had an appointment on 7/6 that I attended and paid for ($75 charge on my credit card). I was then asked to pay $60 for missing that appointment...which as stated I (1) attended and (2) paid for ALREADY. As another review called out this is not a salon, it's a pretty dinghy room in an old building. The environment is not relaxing and very "grey". I went because it was close to my work, not because of the environment (subpar) or service (average). Seattle does not have a lot of waxing options. If this salon was in NYC they would not be in business. read more

Logan took care of me for my first ever brazilian wax, and I couldn't be happier with the procedure and the results. My time of the month snuck up on me after already scheduling the appointment, but Logan was very accommodating and the procedure itself was quick and virtually painless. They were very easy to converse with and had an excellent playlist, which definitely eased all the nerves i had about the entire thing, it being my first time getting waxed. Logan is so phenomenal! I got my eyebrows waxed by them. I felt super safe and comfortable. Loved that they respected my pronouns and catered to my caterpillars. If you want a safe space to be waxed this is definitely the place to go. The whole crew is super amazing, professional and kind. Usually my skin gets a lil angry and I break out after waxing. Found this place for waxing/facial and couldn't have been happier. This was literally one of the best waxing services of my life. Repeat: BEST EVER. I travel for a living and have been to dozens of places, ranging from the ultra luxurious, to hole in the wall. As far as process and results of waxing, this place is at the top of the list. If you're looking for that spa day experience (locker rooms, pool, sauna etc.), this is not going to be what're wanting. The location is small, but perfectly comfortable. Impeccably clean. Very inviting. The ladies were total pros and great communicators. The technicians (Alexandra and Audrey) where total pros. Alexandra would be my go-to waxing person if I lived in Seattle and the facial from Audrey was Superb. I wish I could take these two with me! Definitely making notes to return here when in town. Went here for a quick nose wax for my boyfriend never been here but they were highly rated. Big mistake lady who did it was EXTREMELY unfriendly and seemed completely uninterested. Didn't introduce herself so wasn't able to catch the name she had brown hair and bangs. I can still see a few hairs showing out of his nose that should have been waxed waste of money. read more

First off this place is in the most strange place that one could imagine! I was late to my appointment for 15 min due to an accident on the road, 20 minutes to my appointment I called and let them know and I was told it was okay and they try to do their best to accommodate! Logan was supposed to do my service, she was a snob and she didn't even care to greet and handed the job to this other lady which is ok but she was really rough and rushing it too much and when I asked her to give me a second her answer was I was late and we didn't have enough time! All and all I do NOT recommend this place and I'm not happy with the service at all. Very disappointing. I would have preferred to be told to cancel rather than rushing and messing up my skin this bad! It was a horrible service and experience . If I could I would leave a 0 star! read more

I live in LA, but have been living in Seattle with my bf in quarantine. I've been going to my waxer in LA for so long, I was nervous to go anywhere else. I searched the area for a place that does honey waxing (best for my skin) and found this spot! After searching on the site more, I saw they had locations in LA, so I felt at home. I came here for the first time and got a Brazilian wax with Alex. I've been getting waxed for YEARS and consider myself to be a great patient with a high tolerance. This was the best wax I've EVER had. Alex was SO fast and it was truly the least painful waxed I've ever received. I was hardly red or sore post treatment like I usually am and I am so happy with the results. We wore our masks the whole time and the facility is very clean! Just moved to the area and needed a new salon since there is now European Wax Center in town. Based on the Yelp reviews I gave this place a try. Alex was fantastic! They responded to my appointment request quickly, I was able to get in quickly, and Alex did a great job on my face and underarms. She was so friendly and gave me restaurant recommendations and other Seattle tips. I was kind of confused when I first walked into the building as you enter the Sola Salon and then there are a bunch of doors with various business signs lining the hallway. I wondered around and if was basically just a one room set up. No real "check in" or waiting area. In any case, the door was open so I just walked right in and introduced myself to get started I plan to go back for my Brazilian in a couple of weeks! read more
