Spring time nails

This place is such a gem!!! Jenny takes her time with each of her clients and you can totally tell!!!!!! She's super attentive and meticulous with the quality of her work. I've been coming here for almost a year and have always received amazing customer service, I love this place!!

1st time getting my nails done with jenny love them

Jenny was professional, polite, fun to talk and had great customer service. She knows what she doing, great talent, was done with my express gel mani in less than 30 minutes because she knew I had somewhere else to be. Did exactly what I asked for beautiful royal colors. I was really impressed! Even though I was just a random walk in she treated me like a person that would made an appt weeks ago. I highly recommend Jenny Nails. Also make sure you make an appt because she is usually busy ( I got lucky) and she can do nail art well. My first time in, I have found my new favorite nail place! I will be back! Hard find a reliable nail salon like Jenny's with affordable prices as well.

She insisted on trying Olive Green and I love them!

There is only ONE WOMAN working here and she's the owner. Some of the other reviews is for the other Jenny Nails down the street!!! Besides that, she so sweet and detailed oriented and always takes her time doing my nails. If she doesn't think it looks nice, She'll redo it! I get acrylic and shellac and it can last for weeks without any chips which is amazing because I used to go to Herbal Nails in Lynnwood and it would chip after a week! I would definitely call ahead of time to schedule and appointment because she's the only one there. She makes the experience lovely and always asks what you want to watch on tv or if you want to listen to your own music.

Acrylic on natural nails. Pink Shellac color.

This was a wonderful shop. I don't do my nails often, usually a few times a year when I have a special occasion coming up and prefer to stay natural-ish. Jenny scheduled a time for me to come in the next day, was very attentive and understanding. Explained all my options and even painted 3 fingers different shades of pink so I could chose the one I liked best. I got an acrylic onlay on my real nails, they look so natural and refined, and have the added strength of the acrylic so I don't whack my hand a break a nail every other day. She is the only one in the ship, which yes is small and dated, but she invests her time in her work, and she is good. She isn't the place to go for crazy designs and blingy nails. She has a wide range of colors and specializes in acrylic & shellac. She has a small collection of duo powder but doesn't like to use it unless a client insists. She has been at this location for 14 years I will absolutely go back. Prices were also very reasonable, my onlay with Shellac color was $40

I gave this place a second chance and this time was great. She did a spectacular job on my nails. She works carefully and methodically instead of rushing through like I'm a product in a production line. She's sweet and I hope to encourage support for her businesses and similar local spots in the face of rising property taxes and gentrification that are making Seattle inhospitable to those with modest incomes.

I've been to many nail salons around Seattle and this has been the best one thus far. The owner is incredibly nice and fun to talk to. My acrylics looks very good and she cleaned up my cuticles well. Highly recommend this place. Your appointment may take a long time because she is so detail oriented and wants her clients to be happy. Overall great nail salon to go to! Will be coming back.

Squeezed time for me even though it was after hours. Quality of nail paint could be better, one of it clipped off in less than a week

The lines weren't straight at all. At first I tried to let it go because from a distance it didn't look that bad, and I didn't want to make a big deal about it. But things only got worse after I left. Within a short amount of time my nails started popping off one by one. Then the product started peeling badly, and on some nails it peeled so much that you could literally see my skin underneath. That should NEVER happen with a proper acrylic set. Looking back, I realize the technician kept filing and drilling my nails over and over again, way more than necessary. She kept going back in with the drill and the file again and again like she was trying to take the nail down as thin as possible. At the time I didn't question it because I assumed she knew what she was doing, but now that my nails are lifting and falling off, it makes a lot more sense. My nails felt extremely thin and sensitive afterwards, like they had been drilled down way too far. It honestly felt like my natural nails were overworked and damaged during the process, which probably explains why the acrylic set didn't hold up at all. To make matters worse, when my nails popped off, it came off with part of my actual nail attached, which was painful and honestly shocking. That should never happen with a properly done acrylic set. Instead of just the acrylic lifting, it felt like my real nail had been weakened so much that it came off with it. Overall this was a really upsetting experience. I paid for acrylic French tips expecting professional work and instead left with damaged nails and a set that didn't even last.

Dip powder manicure should last at LEAST 2 weeks, most of mine last for 3. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!!! I came in for a dip powder manicure. The place was pretty much empty since it was the middle of the day on a weekday- I was seen right away. In my past experience with dip the top layer is sanded off then the rest is soaked off with acetone. This technician sanded off all the previous dip, which I suppose is fine. Some areas of sanding got very hot and painful. There were not any swatches in order for me to pick the color of dip powder I wanted. I was just shown a huge basket of dip powder containers. I picked what I thought was a purple, but because there was not any swatches for me to view and dip powder changes so much once applied it actually is more of a brown, which is disappointing. The technician did a fine job applying the dip and shaping/sanding. However, she did not fully dust off all the nail dust before applying the top coat. So now I have dust marks under my top coat. The positive is the technician was nice and did a good job shaping my nails. The place was mostly clean, however, the files and tools used were not single use and we're noticeably dirty from previous use (aga. Unfortunately I won't be returning.
