I get great dip manicures and regular pedicures here! They have lots of friendly staff and pay attention to detail.

Very expensive ($70 before tip for a set of acrylics) and honestly did not do a very good job. There's paint all over my hands and the underside of my nails are all really clumpy and uneven. They also failed to paint the sides of my nails at all. Would not recommend. It also took 90 minutes for a very simple set. read more

I've been to this place twice now and had excellent service both times for a mani-pedi. The owner and her Daughter are both so friendly and her daughter remembered me from over a month prior and asked how my house hunt was going!! The mani-pedi was not rushed even though I was a walk in during a very busy time. Very gentle and the massage portion was awesome!! Great color selection too! I've been to many places around the Ballard area and this place is my new favorite. Did I mention they have parking?! P.S. I'll think twice before going back. I have come here many times, and I recently came here with my daughters for our first mani-pedis in almost two years due to Covid. We went in the afternoon purposely to avoid the Saturday morning rush--it was great, because there were only two other customers in the shop, and they were friends seated together on the wall opposite us. The problem occurred when another customer came in, and they sat her right next to me--just inches away! There were literally so many empty chairs that they could have seated her several chairs (or even several yards) away from me for safety, but they didn't. It was really surprising, but I couldn't make the nail techs and manager understand the issue due to the language barrier, so I finally just gave up. I may have to give up on Jenny Nails Too as well; I don't think I'll feel safe going there. read more

My mom and I have been coming here for years to get our nails done, both together and separately! It is our go-to location for nails. I usually get shellac on my fingernails and a regular pedicure (was priced at $55 before/without tip when I went earlier this month, May 2021, note that they ask that tips be in cash!) and will plan to be there for a couple of hours for everything. Customer service is good and it is a nice leisurely experience when I have the time! I'm generally happy with my nails and my experience when I leave the shop. The only thing I would note is that sometimes I've discovered that my regular pedicure hasn't fully dried even hours later, I think due to some thick layering without much dry time in between (I've bumped or rubbed those nails and dented or rolled the polish!). It's nothing I haven't been able to fix, but has happened enough where I triple check to see if my pedicure is still soft hours later. Overall though, I have been happy with my experiences here and will continue to go back! read more

Horrible experience. Do not recommend. They cut my foot in several places and then did a horrible polish job. I asked them to take off the polish since it was chunky, had streaks of other colors and been mixed with my blood...and they still charged me and barely apologized.... I was also going going to get a manicure but not after they butchered my toe. I was really excited to go get a mani pedi after this last year and what a horrible and painful experience. read more

I used to really love going here because the prices are so affordable. But after yesterday, I will NOT be back here. I've never been so upset with my nails and when I expressed this they didn't offer to do anything about it. First of all, I chose to do a white marble and they put the wrong color on my nails. It looks like someone took blue sharpie and scribbled on my nails. On top of that, I didn't even get a hand massage at the end... I was handed the bottle of lotion and told "here take some lotion, you're all done" I definitely feel like I'm treated differently here because I'm young. My nails look like a four year old drew on them. I paid $10 extra for shitty service and a color I didn't even want. Please tell me how THIS looks like marble?? When I was paying, the man who was helping asked if everything was okay. I mentioned that I was very unhappy with my nails, he offered to look at them. He went back and spoke with my nail technician and she yelled at him. He had the audacity to come back and ask me for a tip, shitty ass customer service not worth how affordable it is. I've never felt so uncomfortable. Don't come here. read more

This place is the best, low-cost, nail salons I've been to. The staff are super friendly and there is low turn over so they get to know the customers. Unlike other salons, each pedicure includes paraffin wax dip and a hot stone massage for no extra cost. The place is clean and they take time to do a good job. I've brought several friends here who like it so much they drive from other parts of city to come here. If you call for an appointment it usually doesn't matter - sometimes you still have to wait, but I usually don't mind. You can be in and out in about an hour for a pedi. read more

Do not bother getting a dip manicure here. The first poor one I had last year here I thought was a fluke, well, it's not. The polish is clumpy, you can still see the sanded parts under the varnish and to add injury to insult, the ring finger nail of my left hand was filed to the quick and it hurts. Not to mention she totally destroyed the shape of one of my pinky nails--I made sure they were shaped how I like before going in. I went in for my first time, told to wash my hands, wonder why? Then was assigned to a chair, by pointing. No explanation of pricing or what a pedicure consists of. Also no warm welcome or greeting upon entering. First of all the water was way too hot for the foot soak. Then the massaging, the filing, the clipping of cuticals was rough and not soft and gentle, almost hurt. Thought a foot massage/pedicure was supposed to be relaxing and calming. I felt like I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. Also have a callous extra skin on one of my toes that other nail salons have cut off, that wasn't even addressed. The wax was too hot as well. The conversation was lacking, not sure why nail salons don't converse in English while they have customers there. My pedicure took an hour and a half, I had to ask if I could leave. The gal doing my pedicure never came back to check on me, she was busy doing another pedicure. I had to ask someone else for sandals and to pay my bill. It truly wasn't a nice experience for me. I have to say goodbye to this shop and find a new place to get my pedicures and fills done. They just go too fast anymore and I'm always getting sliced with their emery boards. I even had abrasions from the heel scrubber. The gal was going so fast that it slipped and abraded my heel bone. So the pain from the emery boards slicing the side of my nails and the burn from the drills (for my fills) just isn't worth it anymore. read more

If you want to be dipped in wax, rubbed with hot stones, and massaged within an inch of your life, this is the place for you. If you want a decent manicure, I recommend you go elsewhere. The manicurist wore (2 pairs of) gloves that were clearly too big for her and made it impossible for her to apply polish with precision. Clear coat extends past the edge of my nails and onto my cuticle (that was not removed before applying the polish). I will go back to Bella in Ballard so they can fix this mess. I just paid $60 for a new set of acrylic nails that look like TOE NAILS!! Do not go here!! The young girl next to me got a manicure, the polish (gel) was so lumpy and streaky I felt awful for her! Mia is the absolute worst nail tech I have had the misfortune to work on me!! Hideous, thick, stubby, uneven and lumpy nails! Stay away!!
