UPDATE: My dip powder manicure has chipped after 3 days. If I could give this place NO STARS I would! Absolutely terrible that I paid $35 for a service that was complete crap. Dip powder manicure should last at LEAST 2 weeks, most of mine last for 3. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!!! I came in for a dip powder manicure. The place was pretty much empty since it was the middle of the day on a weekday- I was seen right away. In my past experience with dip the top layer is sanded off then the rest is soaked off with acetone. This technician sanded off all the previous dip, which I suppose is fine. Some areas of sanding got very hot and painful. There were not any swatches in order for me to pick the color of dip powder I wanted. I was just shown a huge basket of dip powder containers. I picked what I thought was a purple, but because there was not any swatches for me to view and dip powder changes so much once applied it actually is more of a brown, which is disappointing. The technician did a fine job applying the dip and shaping/sanding. However, she did not fully dust off all the nail dust before applying the top coat. So now I have dust marks under my top coat. The positive is the technician was nice and did a good job shaping my nails. I have been coming here for years, but will not be returning. The service recently has been inconsistent, meaning that sometimes my pedicure is great but other times it is rushed or hurts. I have given them the benefit of the doubt because everyone works very hard. My teenage daughter's most recent experience changed my mind. She got a manicure and was cut three times by the technician's filing. That is not okay, and it is not sanitary. I won't risk her getting an infection. Sorry. This salon has lost me. I'm not one to write a bad review, but I truly can't believe the way I was treated just now. I have been a loyal customer for years. The staff is usually friendly and quick. And the quality has always been great for the reasonable price. I always tip and tip well. But for the past few months, every time I come in, this different male manager(?) is there, and is grumpy and rude. He watches TV the whole time, doesn't help the women who are working so hard at everything, and acts put out if he has to do anything. Today, they filled up a pedicure bowl and motioned for me to sit down. He then marched over and lectured me not to get in the chair that way. "You need to sit first and THEN put your feet in bowl." Well, if that's what you want, perhaps let me know that kindly before you tell me to sit? He was concerned I would break the chair. You guys, it's not like I'm an overweight person, so it was really odd that he made such a big deal. It could have been handled nicely. Then, they offered everyone water except me. A little weird, but ok. They offered to skip massage bc it was busy. I guess I should have asked what price that would be, bc he still tried to charge me almost the full price. I got shellac french tips here today. This was my first visit at this salon and my first time getting tips with shellac instead of a full color. Over the phone I was told it would be $20, however I was changed $25 after they finished. I guess getting tips costs more. If I had known this, I would've gone to my regular salon. I came here because I thought it would be cheaper. Also, they want cash tips. I wasn't prepared for that... My nails look awesome, I'm really happy with how they came out. I was a little surprised by the shoulder massage. I haven't had that done at a nail salon before so it was a little different but, whatever, it felt good. I feel really bad for that giant fish they have in a tank. I didn't see any other fish in the tank, and this guy was so big I just couldn't stop thinking about how I wanted to rehome it into something bigger. Eh, maybe I'm personifying something that doesn't feel loneliness or claustrophobia the way humans do. So that's my review. July 12, 2015: If you're ever getting a pedicure at the location next to QFC, take a look behind the pedicure chairs... exposed wires with a bunch of dust bunnies while you're feet are nice and wet nearby. Try not to get electrocuted! This place used to be my first pick/go-to place to get nails done in the past but unfortunately the service has gone way down. My last two visits have been traumatizing due to getting my skin cut up! Trip 1 occurred at the location behind QFC just a few weeks ago by a new girl and one of those square buffers. I felt like a paper cut feeling across my big toe while she was chatting away to the other girls and sliced my poor toe- it was a bleeder too. It scabbed over nicely at least. Trip 2 was at the other location across the street by Little Caesars just yesterday. I decided to give them a second chance and get a mani.. talk about a huge mistake. Again, my assigned person was too deep in conversation with others to pay attention to what she should be focusing on and sliced my poor pinky finger with a nail filer. I told the owners daughter about my incidences, she apologized but charged me $25 anyway. So beware if you get a mani/pedi from either of these two locations that you're most likely going to get to see some blood too. read more

This was my third visit since last October, every time I am in I am questions because of the different types of polish what options there are, and every single time the man running the salon literally doesn't answer any of the questions, and is so rude you feel stupid for asking anything. I have been coming here for a while until 10 minutes ago. usually my nails last almost 2 weeks but I'm hard on my nails so that's expected. HOWEVER, last week I took in my daughter and hers lasted a less than a day. I took a picture and took it in the next day to see if I can redone. Pedicures are amazing! Hot stone massage, wax treatment! Amazing. The chairs are really nice as well. They have a ton. The only down fall is they will sit somebody right next to you, even if all their chairs are available. Personal preference, I know, but I like to full relax. Used to come here years ago before they changed owners. I must say that it is A LOT better now, and their spa chairs are pretty new. The lady did a really good job on my nails even with fact that my nail had ripped almost in half right before my appointment. She avoided that area. Making the decision to come here was the best decision I made this Sunday. I didn't have an appointment and I had never been there, but I called and they told me to come in. I got shellac and it looks pretty great! The ladies were really nice. Once my nails were in the dryer for the final time I noticed she got up and to my surprise she came around and started to give me a neck and shoulder massage, very unexpected but it felt great! She asked me several times if I liked it while she was doing my nails, I appreciated that she was asking my opinion. I got French tip on my short, hard to grow nails and she made them look awesome and some how longer. The young lady that did my toes did a great job with being gentle, thorough and gave me a great pedi! The gentleman there who might have been the owner offered a "color changing" gel pedi since I was getting a gel pedi, I thought I would try something new! I've been getting shellac manicures and pedicures here for 4 years now. All the employees are incredibly sweet, they take their time, and the prices can't be beat. Every shellac manicure I've had from them has lasted a solid 2 weeks. Their basic pedicures are like most Salon's "deluxe": it includes the wax and hot stone treatment. 2 tips: if you're in a hurry....make an appointment and avoid weekend mornings. I've been to Jenny Nail many times, and I continue to return because of their great service and quality manis & pedis. The staff are very accommodating, and make sure you are comfortable at all times. They offer you something to drink right away, and get your massage chair going if you desire. Most often, no appointment is needed, you can just walk in! However, if you like to chat with your pedicurist, (is that a word?) you might want to try elsewhere. They all speak to each other, but not to you unless they are checking that you are okay. As far as the manicures/pedicures go, very nice are the words I would use to describe them. For a $25 pedicure, you get a quality polish, paraffin wax treatment, hot stones, and a great leg + foot massage. I highly recommend their pedicures! Hope this is to some use to you. Oh! Showed up on a sunny Sunday around 1pm. It was pretty busy inside and I waited with my sister for about 5 minutes. Sat down and waiting a few minutes for the pedi to start. The woman who was working on my toes was nice, didn't talk much, but that's ok. All of the workers there are really chatty, so it's not as relaxing to get your nails done. Made an appointment for me and a girlfriend to get shellac.. When we showed up for our appointment the front door was jam packed with guests and every single staff was busy with a guest. I guess that's a good sign since they're so busy but when I take the time to make an appointment I didn't expect to have to wait more than 10 minutes to be serviced. My friend and I stood around for more than 20 minutes and the ladies that were in front of us haven't even gotten their turn yet. Meanwhile no one from the salon said a word to us. I went here as it is highly rated in comparison to the other salon across the lot from QFC - and i'm new to the neighborhood. When I got there, they were quick to put me in a chair for my pedicure, the parafin and hot stones were nice - especially since i have never had that done at another nail salon for a pedicure before. I don't know if that is routine or not for them to do - but it was nice. The only thing odd about the whole thing was that the woman who did my nails did nothing to them except paint them. She did not trim, clean, or do anything other than make sure the old polish was off and put the new polish on. I know that that is a new one - and am sure that she should have - but was taking in the new scenery and didn't want to be that new customer complaining about things when it may be done differently. Truth be told, I was going to just go to Carkeek Nails to get my first pedicure and manicure ever. But they had closed half an hour early. So I drove across the parking lot (lazy!) to Jenny Nails - which was full of women still being worked on. I poked my head in, and asked if they had time for one more. The woman I asked said they did, and asked me to take a seat on a comfy couch to wait. I only waited about ten minutes, and then sat in a massage chair while my feetsies got pampered. Then I moved over to a table and got my toes painted at the same time I got acryllics done - both look awesome, and I got a free flower painted on my toes since it was my first visit. They were so nice there, and didn't rush me at all even though I was there til almost 8. May I mention, 2 women came in for leg waxings after 7 (the time they close) and they still let them come in! read more

I really like this place. The price is awesome for what you get: $35 for a mani+pedi. They do paraffin and hot stones with your pedicure, and they usually do a little leg massage (and arm if you're getting a manicure, too). Their chairs are comfortable and whenever I go I'm seated immediately (and have never made an appointment beforehand). **To folks with physical challenges, young kids with disabilities or anyone that has physical challeges, ESPECIALLY IN YOUR HANDS. ** I just had the most frustrating experience with a jenny nails on greenwood: my type of Cerebral Palsy does not totally prevent me from getting manicures it just makes it difficult. First: I gave my 30 second elevator speech, I looked for signs of being understood, and then I ASKED TWICE for the toe separators things because I've figured out that while it does not fix the issue it helps A LOT. The lady seemed to get it, but never gave me the separator so I gave in. The results were bad. So I had her redo them, asking once more. No dice. i paid and left. While getting my keys AFTER being told by the sole guy painter there that I was "good to go" it was really bad again, so he fixed it. I have him elevator speech asked for those "toe things" because at this point I was exhausted and hunry and a little mad. No dice. Left (already paid ) but it ended up worse than the last 2 times. I went in mad. I said "fix these two fingers or just take the whole polish off, keep the money, I don't care" he sat me down, and fixed it I THEN AGAIN asked/explained about the separators this time getting them. Setting my right hand down was much easier this time, we calmed down and I said, but I asked that girl -pointing to one wearing the red tank for these things twice. he got huffy and was all "well she may not understand english well" okay, fine but then ask for help or ask me to repeat myself. then he said "I never heard you..." that's because I told you the speach already I did say that my fingers do better in the toe things but also and you werent the one working on me at first. THEN he has the balls to be all "well YOUR FINGERS...YOUR FINGERS and YOUR HAND" - yes, I know my fingers curl, yes, I know my hand does not move normally or it kind of moves on it's own. That is not your fault, nor is it mine and you are NOT ABOUT TO MAKE ME FEEL BAD ABOUT MY BODY" but it is your fault that you did not listen, it is your fault that your employees don't ask for help when they are confused/don't understand (which is not a problem to me, it's the fact she didn't ask for help or ask me to repeat) I am so sad. they are literally 4 minutes away from my house and I've always had GREAT experiences with my toes. I am uncertain if I'll go back. IF YOU HAVE PHYSICAL CHALLEGES THIS IS NOT THE PLACE FOR YOU -- i would very highly reccomend Pro Nails on queen anne. I had such a wonderful job done there. This place is the best, low-cost, nail salons I've been to. The staff are super friendly and there is low turn over so they get to know the customers. Unlike other salons, each pedicure includes paraffin wax dip and a hot stone massage for no extra cost. The place is clean and they take time to do a good job. Jenny Nails just opened a second location across the street called Jenny Nails Too (or should it be spelled "two"....) I've brought several friends here who like it so much they drive from other parts of city to come here. They are OK. I've been here a couple times for their Acrylic nails. For $25, it was lower and better quality then another i had been to. Just don't expect them to understand what Stiletto Nails are. I've tried, gave them benefit of the doubt more then once, but after my last experience, I won't be going back. My last time I even had a picture to show them what Stiletto Nail looked like, It started ok but after a while she started filing them down and it became obvious she just rounding the tips and shortening them to a more "normal" size. Which wasn't what i wanted. I don't know if they understand the word "pointed". I was going to Jenny Nails for about 1.5 years and enjoyed going there. I had brought my sister with me to get shellac manicures & pedicures and it was the WORST experience EVER! First off, the service lasted no longer than 20 min. No massage was given. In fact, we were asked to get up from our chairs because the "regular" clients needed to sit down. I wish I was making this up! After being asked if we had a tip, Jenny's husband rolled his eyes and sighed after I stated I would tip from my debit card. And yes, I still tipped because at the end of the day, a job was "done". Left the salon paying $98 (including tip) for a HORRIBLE experience! We came back 2 days later and asked for a re do of our service because the polish on my big toe was smudged, and the shellac on our finger nails was done poorly. Jenny immediately began yelling at us in front of other customers. She threw a fit that lasted about 10 min before she came to the conclusion to re do the shellac, but we were to never come back and complain. I had asked one of the nail techs to please redo my big toe and rather than removing the polish from the nail, she painted over and made the smudge WORSE. To keep it short, Jenny is extremely unprofessional and rude! My sister felt uncomfortable and not relaxed so we left midway. As we were walking out, we shared that we would NEVER return and would share this experience with everyone we possibly could!!! I will NEVER return to this place EVER AGAIN!! I took my mom here for Mother's Day mani and pedi since compared to other nail shops, they were able to get us in right away, which was fantastic! Pedicures with hot stone massage was great, just as other reviews praised however, manicures were choppy and done terribly. Arguably they were busy, but before coming to this shop I specifically asked for mani and pedi for mom, whom never had visited nail shops in her life, so we shouldn't get dissatisfied looks from technicians for taking up their booth. With the rushing, my mom's cuticles weren't even cared for and the lady just applied nail polish over her otherwise regular untrimmed. I would've made a comment if I wasn't busy trying to get someone's attention to pay. I realized this once we were in the car, which was disappointing. After everything, her cuticles look untrimmed, nail polish had streak marks from brushes, and top coat had bubbles from applying too soon with polish spilling out on edges. My mom didn't know if this was normal thing or what.... Overall pedicure is awesome with a great price of $25. Manicure is below average at best, I do better job painting store bought OPIs at home, which I'll do to fix my mom's nails. read more
