The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the entire experience enjoyable from the moment you walk in. I usually go for a gel manicure or pedicure, and every time, the results are fantastic. What I love most is how quick they are while still providing top-notch service. It's my go-to spot when I want beautiful nails without having to wait too long. Ha is usually the one who does my nails, and she never disappoints--always attentive to details and making sure everything looks perfect. I just moved to Seattle a few months ago and went to several salons before finding Savvy Nails and Spa. Now that I have found it, I won't go anywhere else. The service is amazing and it is the best manicure and pedicure that I have gotten in a very long time. Everyone is super friendly and helpful. What I especially like are the liners that they use for the pedicure foot baths. These liners make the pedicure process much more sanitary. It's like being the first person to use the foot bath in a brand new chair every time I visit! They also have a great choice of nail colors to choose from. I also like the quiet and calming ambiance. The prices are also great, especially compared to the other salons that I have been to in Seattle. You get impeccable service for a great price. read more

The place was pretty much empty since it was the middle of the day on a weekday- I was seen right away. In my past experience with dip the top layer is sanded off then the rest is soaked off with acetone. This technician sanded off all the previous dip, which I suppose is fine. Some areas of sanding got very hot and painful. There were not any swatches in order for me to pick the color of dip powder I wanted. I was just shown a huge basket of dip powder containers. I picked what I thought was a purple, but because there was not any swatches for me to view and dip powder changes so much once applied it actually is more of a brown, which is disappointing. The technician did a fine job applying the dip and shaping/sanding. However, she did not fully dust off all the nail dust before applying the top coat. So now I have dust marks under my top coat. The positive is the technician was nice and did a good job shaping my nails. The place was mostly clean, however, the files and tools used were not single use and we're noticeably dirty from previous use (aga. Unfortunately I won't be returning.

We have visited this salon a few times with my daughter, and unfortunately, we've had the same…read moreissue with our gel manicures more than once. Within just a few days, the gel polish started peeling off both of our nails. The first time it happened, we didn't complain. When it happened again, however, we returned to the salon and asked them to fix it. Since the polish had peeled so quickly on multiple nails, we were concerned about the quality of the product and asked to have the polish replaced on all of the affected nails with a different polish. We were told that they would only fix the nails for free if we used the exact same polish, and that choosing a different polish would require us to pay for a new polish change. This made very little sense to us, especially since there was no record of the polish number in their system. Gel manicures should not routinely start peeling within a few days, and when the same problem happens repeatedly, I would expect the salon to stand behind its work rather than charge the customer again to correct it. Unfortunately, the way this was handled left us feeling that we were being asked to pay twice because of a quality issue with the original service. I'm sharing our experience so other customers are aware of this policy before getting a gel manicure here.

Pricing is a big deal for me too because I've been charged $100 for crappy work and my go to lady only charged me $30. It's more about the service and how well they take care of you that I care about. When I walked in today, it was a Saturday afternoon, it was empty. There was a cute little dog that greeted me at the door and I'm like "... hello? Anyone there? Looks like the little dog was my nail tech for the day". I had the pleasure of meeting Chin who offered me water, tea, something to drink before getting started! So kind of you, he finished with my full set acrylic, looking extra sharp and am so happy with how it turned out! He constantly asked me to check the shape and style to make sure it was to my liking. I get anxiety asking people to fix something and rather would ignore it because usually they get mean after I say something but Chin just fixed it right away and my mind was at ease. The shaping was just ok and the nail tech got gel on my cuticles. I do gel nails at home and I know the no. 1 rule is to not get gel nails on your cuticles because it will lift. The staff is friendly though but not enough for me to come back. Price is good but not for the quality. I didn't want to say anything when I was there because they were nice but I unfortunately will have to go elsewhere to get my nails done.
