It was my first time at this business. I went to the Roosevelt location and found nothing there! I called and realized that the business has moved to a new location. Don't make my mistake! This is a family business with a warm and friendly vibe, quiet and peaceful atmosphere and a convenient location just off I-5 on Northgate Way. The owners are a sweet couple and the communication was so pleasant! Don't worry about being understood; the owner is fluent in English and a very nice man with a friendly smile and some jokes to boot. My peppermint pedicure was so relaxing and he was gentle, careful and very professional. My feet and toes feel and look great! Great place to relax and be pampered! DEFINITELY make an appointment, there are currently only the two lovely owners providing service, and after tonight's pedicure I understand why they are so popular. They have extended hours--open til 8pm, as well as Sundays and many holidays so they have times that work with a myriad of schedules. The vibe is very relaxing and calm. The soft pinks on the wall and the mellow music really put your mind into a good place. Prices are on par, maybe even slightly less than similar salons. I look forward to my next visit! read more

What a NICE surprise to have Nice Nails and Spa here in Northgate! I was pleasantly surprised and happy there is a new nail salon in the neighborhood! It was preciously a different salon and sadly I didn't have the best experience-- so happy to say the new management/owners are soo welcoming and so kind! Husband and wife duo, I was welcomed with open arms. The energy is great here and Kim and Khan were very attentive and provided quality work! And can't forget to mention the reasonable prices!! I'm trying out a new nail salon. I pass here everyday for work and curious how this place is. Came here after work. Thankful I called to make an appointment. Moment I get in, I was greeted. Then sat and soaked my feet. The owners Khan and Lim run this place all by themselves. Very busy for a sunny Sunday afternoon. They even turned down other customers because they were busy. Appointment is highly recommended. Had spa pedicure. It included a paraffin wax, hot stone massage and hot towel rinse. Overall happy with the results. Clean place. Friendly owners. Nice Nails has amazing customer service and so many colors. Seriously any shade you are looking for they have it. I love a great neutral dip manicure and this one that Kim does could last 100 years. I love that she does dipping powder and then gel on top, it means I can do my gardening, typing, cooking etc without worrying about chipping a nail. Went in for the first time to get a gel pedicure .. went with the best VIP pedicure and I liked that they had pedicure kits with different scents .. I asked if they served drinks but they said water and coffee , I asked for coffee but never got it ... the guy did my pedicure and it was ok but he really didn't do a foot massage more like a leg massage and it just didn't feel like the best most expensive pedicure they offered.. the customer service was nice and nail salon is clean .. but the overall service and matching my paint job was average .. I may try them again for my manicure but my review is based solely on my pedicure .. I hope they do better next time if I do decide to try their VIP pedicure again . Decent prices and they were doing a 20% discount at that time For their grand opening .. it was $65 + for the vip pedicure , there are also other options which I probably should've just went with but I wanted to experience their best pedicure and just seemed average and they charge extra for removal of gel .. if your getting a service I would think they factor that in the price so that' wasn't a good factor and was told after I started my service .. I paid about $80 for the whole service. I still had to go home and clean and get my cuticles and he didn't really clean and cut my ingrown toenail so it hurt when I left .. read more

Pedicure. Did a semi decent job with massage, but the nail polish was so thick it was streaked. The tops of my nails are white and the owner/service provider did not trim my cuticles, but painted over them instead. The place is filthy. Look at the bathroom and ceiling. Never going back! read more

Walked in for a pre-vacation pedicure and discovered my new go-to nail place. *Amazingly* friendly and welcoming service, as well as a detail-oriented technician (the husband owner I believe). He worked with me on getting the 'look' I wanted, recommending a duo to get the color and shimmer I wanted, since there wasn't one single polish that quite worked. And that pedicure lasted - at the beach, no less - for 5 weeks (woulda been more but my little toes needed a cut and retouch). Wish I coulda transported back from the East Coast to Nice Nails instead of the average place I ended up. ANd their hours are longer than some other salons, which helped me immensely. The man who did my nails and helped me me, who also owns the business, Khanh, was just the sweetest guy to talk to you could tell he's a perfectionist, which when it comes to me and my nails, I love!!!! Please if you're in the Roosevelt area go to this nail salon they deserve your business and they deserve your tips too!!! The little nail salon was one of the cleanest ones I've seen in Seattle as well. I was telling him too when he finished up I always ask for a very simple nail, but for some reason that seems to be the hardest for nail technicians to make it look even and symmetrical. At the end, they oil up your hands, place them in hot wax and then dry them with a warm towel. Atmosphere is charming with pink walls, little alter at the front and picture of their adorable kids. If you're worried about COVID: you wash your hands right away when you get there. You both are masked up the whole time. There is plexi glass between you and the person doing your nails and when you leave they grab the door for you which is not only a good way to prevent the spreading of germs but feels very courteous. I went to this place for about a year and they seemed nice but now when I call they say they don't do acrylic nails - like a fill or redo or anything. Which is ironic since it's THEIR acrylics I need to redo. I've never worked with a nail place that has had so many fake nails break... I've actually NEVER had a fake nail break before this place. And since they tell me over the phone they don't do what I asked for (which I know is a lie) I went to another nail salon and when they went to remove & replace my acrylic nails we noticed Nice Nails must be been quick & dirty because I had browning under my nails after being this locations customer exclusively for almost a year. Not sure if it's the tools or materials or what but I've had fake nails on/off since I was 14 (I'm 24) and I dont keep fake constantly just during busy social times but I've never had broken nails ever before this place and definitely no browning.
