Kim and Khan are fantastic! Kim did the dipping powder on my nails and removed the cuticles nicely and finished the experience with a wonderful wax treatment that made my hands feel so soft. Khan did my pedicure and it was one of the best I've had. He was thorough, took out an ingrown and scraped the dead skin from my feet, which not many people do well in my experience. I've been to this place two times to get dip nail manicures and both times were great! The first time I went was my first time getting dip. My nail tech was a guy, I think his name was Kanh, and he was very nice! He paid attention to detail, made sure all my fingernails were the same length, and that I was happy with the thickness of the dip. My service went past the closing time and Kanh patiently continued to help me, not rushing any part. I especially appreciated that. After a month or so, I went back because I loved it so much. I got dip again, and this time I wanted it even thinner and my nails to be a different shape. Kanh helped me again and he was super nice and paid close attention to detail. I love how it turned it out! Nice Nails also offer student discounts on certain services if you present them a student ID as well! I recommend this place. If you're looking to do shellac, it's best to make an appointment as only certain ladies there do it and they fill up quick. read more

My nails were filed unevenly, she didn't paint the nails to the edge, and when I told her, she attempted to fix it but just made it look worse. I called to make an appointment for 4:30, being seattle I was unfortunately stuck in "rain traffic" so I called 20 minutes in advance to let them know I was stuck in traffic and would be a little late. The lady on the phone let me know that wasn't okay and they would be full at that time (4:45) I said okay and said I would call back to reschedule. At 4:30 I received a call from the same lady stating that they now have an opening at 4:45 and she had asked if I would be able to make it at that time. I said yes - proceeded to nail salon. My services included a pedi and a full set of acrylic. The pedi was absolutely amazing, well done and the paint job is great. My full set however. . . Is atrocious. The salon was not busy and it didn't appear that anyone was in a rush. . . Except my tech. On my right hand she was sure to clean up my cuticle area, on the left it's a whole different story. I had requested she shorten the nails a bit more prior to continuing on. . . She didn't, then rushed me on to the pedicure. It has been exactly a week - and I'm still in awe that I paid money for this. Again - Pedicure service is FANTASTIC. Nails - really could use improvement. read more

And where you feel sort of divorced from it all, almost uncomfortable about having hired someone to perform the service - and where you feel like they don't want to be doing it, either? Sometimes it feels so weird I just avoid the whole thing and let my feet become the animal hooves they secretly want to be. Here, they make an earnest effort to chat, and they've taken extra care to create a colorful, warm space. Instead of harsh fluorescent lighting, the light is soft and inviting. They aim for darker and cozier over antiseptic and sterile. In short, the place - and the owners - have personality, which makes the experience richer somehow than what I've come to expect from nail salons. It's more like a friendly visit where my feet come out looking 30% less rhinocerine (trust me, 30% is the best that anyone can do short of virtual reality assistance). Left with raw and bleeding skin. I came in for a gel removal and gel manicure and will not come back. The gentleman who filed the gel off filed so aggressively he broke the skin on several of my fingers. A different young woman finished up my manicure after I said my nails were hurting from the removal. She was okay. Over trimmed and put an excessive amount of alcohol on broken skin which stung. However she did a good job painting. The whole thing was only $30 - cheaper than most places. I won't be back and am bummed out at how much my fingers hurt. read more

Their painting skills are amazing as I'm super picky about if shellac is too thick looking. They are also super sanitary and use clean tools, gloves, film in pedicure baths, and have ppe, plastic guards and much more to protect from covid. The staff are super friendly, nice, and fun to talk to. They are skilled at shaping, painting, and give amazing massages. They never rush- they are meticulous and ask you if you like the shape, if you want another coat of polish, and let nails cure under UV light longer to make it last longer. LOVE!! The prices are super fair, and the quality of work is impeccable. The loveliest couple runs this place and their manicures and pedicures are always top-notch. Highly recommend.

They have decent service but the prices (for acrylic at least) don't match the website whatsoever. Their website says $20 for a fill and $25 for a gel fill, and when I went in they told me it would be $35 since they don't do normal fills anymore and only do gel. It's still a reasonable price for gel nails so I stayed, but it wasn't great quality and the guy who painted my nails took like 2 minutes per nail. He didn't really seem like he knew what he was doing. Also, they mentioned they had a student discount while I was getting my nails done so I could save $5 if I had my ID and that they had a punch card. At the end when I paid, they told me the discount wasn't eligible for acrylics. Then I asked about the punch card, and they said that wasn't eligible either. I kinda just felt scammed because the girl told me it would be $5 less and then just took it back. Overall wouldn't recommend, especially if you're looking to get acrylics. Gave them two stars because they had decent service and offered tea and water which was nice. read more
