One of the best massages I've ever had in my life. So needed as well. I highly recommend Sy in particular. He well knows the body in ways that other massage therapists have not tended to in the extents that he did, and he massaged areas I've never had worked on before, which very much needed it. I arranged a deep tissue longer session and I am very glad that I did. My body felt quite broken from a week, driving up the West Coast and a week sleeping on the floor. My soul also felt out of body as it was too painful to be within it. When I left, I felt wholly embodied and healthy again. I had an amazing night sleep and woke up refreshed entirely. I was visiting this past week from the east coast and was able to get an appointment within 24 hours for a massage with Mariana. The receptionist was delightful and friendly. The environment was welcoming and soothing with herbal teas and healthy plants and nice calming music. My experience with Mariana was excellent. She was kind, professional, attentive and provided exactly what I had asked for: deep tissue work. I have been to many massages and often it is simply someone putting oil on me and rubbing it around on my skin. My mother is a professional masseuse and I've yet to experience someone up to par with her work. This was. Mariana worked on the areas that were tight and blocking my body and energy without me even going into detail as she sensed and found the knots by feeling. I highly recommend her for deep tissue work and an excellent energy- she was friendly, comforting and the session was both peaceful and fun. It was so impactful that I booked another two hours with her before I left Seattle. She was also accommodating in regard to my visiting schedule and came in early to make it work. I also experienced cupping for the first time. It's intense! Very effective! And amazing as while the cups pinpoint one area the practitioner can also be working on a different part of your body. 5 stars for Rachel S., who's a fantastic massage therapist, although she no longer works here. 1 star for customer service. Thus, 3 stars average. I cancelled my enthusiast membership on August 25 via email. I was still charged for September, which was fine, as the TOS states you need to cancel in writing 30 days before next month's charges hit. I used my September credit and thought I was done. JK, I was then charged for October. I emailed on October 23, and they said they'd refund it and get it taken care of. Three weeks later, no refund. I emailed AGAIN, and they finally refunded me the charge and said it was all taken care of after a brief phone call. This was on November 15/16. But, surprise! I was charged for November on the 22nd. I am now disputing the charge with my bank. It shouldn't be this difficult to cancel your membership. I did as I was asked to cancel it. I followed the rules without complaint. So why doesn't Dreamclinic follow their own TOS? read more

It was really hard to make a reservation for multiple people at the very last minute so I was happy when dreamclinic was able to take us in. However being able to book it was a little bit difficult as I made reservations on the phone and as I was booking an appointment for three of us at a certain time for 60 minutes, the person on the phone told us that the spots ended up getting booked from underneath us so we had to adjust to a later time and 90 minutes. We were happy to find free parking in their lot. Also there was an good-seized reception area where one of our party members who wasn't getting massage could wait for us. There is water and tea in the reception area which is very nice to have before and after your treatment. We had all female massage therapist and the three of us were in separate rooms with a 90 minute massage is each. My massage was OK, not the best and not the worst I've ever had. I enjoyed components where there was stretching involved because I really did feel like it helps addressed all my major tension area, but not all of the areas that I had written down in my intake form were addressed or even touched. When I asked the others how their massages went, one said his was just fine but he doesn't get massages very often. The other who gets massages often and always asks for deep tissue massage said he wouldn't go back to that place and in fact he thought about walking out of his massage session. When we booked it we made it clear that we wanted deep tissue massage and during the massage session he said multiple times that he would like the pressure to be deeper and his massage therapist didn't accommodate that and at one point shares that she didn't do that. That was very disappointing because a 90 minute session is not cheap. Also as we all debrief about our respective massage therapists we found that all of them were pretty new to their work, so I think that we just got people who were available but we're not the best which was very disappointing because my experiences with the dream clinic at corporate offices were amazing. To put it in perspective, paid for 90 minute massages and the very next morning we ended up getting chair massages at the Bellevue Square mall because we really didn't feel a difference. Highlighting that Larisa (business owner) truly cares about her clients and does every effort to check in with them to ensure they are satisfied (satisfaction guarantee). Larisa and I had a conversation over the phone, where she asked for my feedback and what she is doing to improve. I explained to her my rationale for giving them a rating. She posited that there were management turnover/changes that occurred in August 2020 and the particular therapist I had had was receiving training from her. Satisfaction guaranteed: Larisa was kind enough to provide a complimentary session for me to try them out again. She recommended a handful of therapists who were rated as having the ability to provide deeper pressure to clients. I selected one of them, and he was fantastic! Service: Drew was a fantastic therapist, very thorough in his approach to providing a deep tissue massage. He asked and listened carefully of the focus areas and did just that. He made sure the pressure was at a comfortable level for me and was very personable, making sure to ask where to lighten up. I would highly recommend booking him if you have an area that is full of knots! Checking in: was easy and there was a couple of spots for parking in the lot (on a hill). When I first visited this place 10+ years ago, I discovered it because it had won some "Best of" award for the area. It lived up to the billing. Fast forward to present, it has hits and misses among the therapist roster, but on the whole definitely a 5 star experience. Their monthly pricing is fair, and they often have same-day availability with an easy-to-use online booking system. Among 10 or so therapists I've tried so far, Elise and Sophia have been my favorites, but almost everyone on the roster is above average compared to the Massage Envy therapists I used to visit. Their front desk staff have also been super friendly and competent in my experience. One last weekend helped me gift an appointment to my wife - he was super easy to work with on a complex appointment transfer I was requesting. I'd strongly recommend giving Dreamclinic a try. read more

APPALLING customer service. There's a high attrition or firing of front desk staff, so, most are incompetent and grossly unprofessional. Dreamclinic canceled my appointment within an hour notice without providing same day alternative (I was in pain and in need of a massage). At the same time as a customer you must give them 24 hrs notice or you'll be charged. Double standards. Customer service rep Alexandra is horrid. I had a bad 90 min massage experience (it was not deep tissue and I've been getting deep tissue for a decade, so I know what it supposed to feel like). After the session, I provided my feedback in writing hoping for an apology or at least acknowledgment. She quickly invalidated my feedback and threatened with collection if I cancel the transaction. In addition, she said that she transferred my feedback to the therapist and "he was sad" - how manipulative and unprofessional. I canceled my membership. Stay away! read more

When I first used Dreamclinic, I was very impressed with the customer service and organizational structure. I've had exceptional massage therapists, and I've had appointments with at least 6 different practitioners. In the past couple of years, I've experienced a marked decline in accessibility. As a client using health insurance, I used to have a lot more available slots to book appointments. But now, the time slots are SEVERELY limited. I've had to schedule it on my calendar to check on daily basis for future openings - it's highly inconvenient. The organization tried to increase accessibility by charging insurance clients a $25 insurance fee, in addition to the price of the massage service. Thankfully, that fee was revoked due to complaints. The front desk has been short-staffed as well during peak times. There used to be two staffers to check in and check out clients. Now, there is only one person and a line to wait. Once, I got there 5 minutes before my appointment and ended up waiting overtime which eats into my massage time. And when I checked out, I was waiting for another 5 minutes to pay. Just to be clear, I have zero issues with the practitioners. I think their fantastic. The business model, however, could use some improvement on the customer service and accessibility side. If accessibility continues to be an issue, I will change to another clinic. read more

I think it's clear that this business doesn't care about their clients or therapists. I've been going to them for 11 years and they've been trying to get out of paying their therapists the entire time. This used to be a great place! Then, a year ago they tried to get out of being a healthcare facility. Appointments if you were an insurance customer were not only hard to get but cancelled even an hour prior to the start time. No explanation. They of course ignore that one time I had a morning appointment and food poisoning and they charged me $70 to cancel my appointment. One time over 11 years. I could have come in and thrown up everywhere. They say they offer online scheduling but they really don't. Only if you're lucky enough to be tagged as acceptable can you see the appointments. Most everyone isn't. Check in and check out both take at least ten minutes if you're lucky. Really really annoying. They used to have two people but now they have one who is always incompetent. Don't even think about leaving a tip or it will take you twenty minutes extra. Guaranteed. Now they not only don't require masks but they purposely advocate against masks. I have seen that employees don't wear masks in the facility. Illegal but they don't care. Either you're a healthcare facility or you aren't. One therapist tested positive and they didn't even bother to notify any of her clients or shut the facility for cleaning. They don't want to be a health care facility. And now mid year they've decided they don't want to be healthy care provider. Middle of the year! They took away most insurance appointments so if you're using your benefits you got notified that they've decided mid year to not take insurance anymore. Come on! They don't care about people who don't have out of network benefits or FSA or are in the middle of treatment. Just mid year. They don't care that we can't change insurance plans mid year. They don't care that we can't increase our FSA contributions. 0/10 This is not a place I recommend. Go up the street to massage envy. read more

I had been going to the U-District location for a while but switched here after my previous masseuse left, so I just had my first appointment with Danica here and I definitely want to become a regular of hers. I like the music she had playing (very natural and relaxing) and I love that she can do cupping, since I usually need it on my lower back because pressing down hard enough to be effective hurts too much. Danica was great about checking in in terms of pressure, and was great about focusing on the areas I needed the most help with. The office itself is also nice and peaceful, and the receptionist was friendly and we chatted a little bit after my session since no one else was in the waiting room while I waited for a bus home. I've been a client here for about three years. However, their late cancellation of my two different appointments, one hour to even ten minutes prior to my appointments will make me look elsewhere. Irony and hypocrisy of all this is that Dream Clinic strictly adheres to their late cancellation policy- they want 24 hour notice or else they will charge $60. In the past when I caught a flu, I've paid my fees because I called them three hours prior to cancel my appointment time; which I gladly did as I knew about their policy. However, these past two incidents clearly demonstrated that they do not care nor value clients time. I also noticed that they have high turnover rate of their therapists. Every time I find one that I like, I can no longer make additional appointments as they are either no longer there or limiting their availability. I've had better. I would agree with other reviewers in the intake meeting reading your chart that kills so much of your time. I understand the reasoning behind it but when I asked to simplify it, as I'm used to sharing my problem spots and don't want to waste time, I got a very forced rigid smile message spoke to I not having choice but to sit down and talk to her. It was very weird. Literally she would not continue until I sat down and talked to her. I think I ended up staring at her for 5 seconds out of shock as I've never felt "forced" to sit and have a conversation. So she waited and watched me while I put my bag down and took off my jacket. Safe to say it turned me off and I Tried my best to get over it but she was a bit awkward throughout my whole massage. Although her touch was firm which is my preference, she never quite found all the pain points. When it came to my neck, I felt like she was just grabbing at random areas cause I didn't feel anything. Their track record has remained high and since finding a permanent massage therapist, I continue to experience relaxing and therapeutic massages. Quick thanks to my RMT for not stocking solely flute-nature-sounds CDs, sometimes a little Depeche Mode fits my mood better than the sound of chirping birds backed by a friggin' pan flute. I like the fact that they are not a spa. If I wanted to go to a spa, I'd go to a SPA. Dreamclinic offers massages in a tranquil environment without the added charges for things I don't want but this doesn't mean that they are low rent. Their massage rooms and lobbies are clean and pleasantly decorated. They remodeled their clinic installing sound dampening windows and also renovating the bottom office space for their purposes. For this reason, I checked the option wheelchair accessible since you can now be seen downstairs. Check out their website for promotions, they usually offer something to entice you to check them out. I went here yesterday on a referral from my primary care doctor, and I am so happy I did. I was seen by Wayne, who took the time to ask questions about my sore spots, did a little exam on my bum knee and felt around the pinched nerve on my back. He was AMAZING. The massage was fantastic, and he really worked out all the big knots I had in my shoulders and validated all the extra pains and tightness I felt I was having. After trying everything else (pressure, stretching, elongating) He introduced me to cupping, which I had heard of before but never gotten. I'm so glad he did. I'm kind of ticklish, but the cupping really worked to get in deep on all my tight shoulder issues. I could not be happier with the experience, and I've gone to super high end spas like Ummelina (which I love too, but more for a pampering day vs a please-help-me-I-have-so-many-pains day) I left so relaxed and being able to sit and stand with better posture. I understand people get sick and this may be a fluke but 3 weeks in a row, i have been called the day of with the therapist notshowing up or sick or whatever. This was for a car accident. Not a great place to go for this type therapy. they will favor the private payers more although they get paid much more for MVAS from insurance companies. I know from statements from insurance. Quality based on providers. best ones are usually booked. Don't expect to see anyone more than once. all have variable techniques so hard to find one you like and go back. They Cancelled my appointment after I had been in the Lobby for 10 minutes. The therapist assigned to me became ill right before my scheduled time. The therapist came to me and apologized and left. I appreciated that. Although there were other therapists who had appointments later on, those appointments were being held even tho the clients were not there. It's been years since my last visit. I decided to give Dreamclinic Massage another try when I was in desperate need of a massage and they had a last minute opening available. I pulled up and took the very last spot in their dedicated lot. My masseuse was friendly and strong - I feel a million times better. I did not know this but they have an early bird special; my 60 minute massage was $80 (before tip). This place is always so busy. They have a small parking lot and you are lucky if you find parking. Otherwise, you have to fight to find a street spot. They are located near the busy street of Roosevelt so street parking is limited. They offer online scheduling which is very convenient. I find the prices to be a bit steep but they do accept insurance as well. They also have a membership which allows you to pay a little less for massages as long as you meet their membership requirements. I see Liz P. She is amazing. She listens to what I need and remembers my preferences. I always feel super relaxed when I leave. I wish I could afford to see her weekly! I have also seen another masseuse when Liz was ill, and she was good as well. The massage rooms are nice and roomy. The walls are not thin and I rarely hear traffic in the hallway or in the other rooms. Overall, super happy with Liz P. She is the best! read more

There's definitely good massage therapists here, but it might take a couple tries to find them (and then they're usually booked a month or two out so it's hard to make an appointment). Dreamclinic favors DEEP pressure. For me, it's always painful, and I routinely have bruises after my massages here (NOT necessary for an effective massage). Easy to use your insurance here if that's your goal. Also, once I needed to cancel an appointment and they charged me $65, when my co-pay is only $11. read more

This company's business practices are very harmful. They will deceive patients regarding insurance coverage and not notify patients of bills until several hundreds of dollars are supposedly owed. Very deceptive business practices. Very unethical company. This is not a reflection on their receptionists or therapists but rather their business model and owners who are enriching themselves while harming patients financially. Please consider a different option - especially for medical services as you may be defrauded/deceived about what you're paying. Even with the current crisis - their office takes no responsibility for failing to inform patients for months that their insurance is no longer accepted. Really, a horrible place that runs their business for profits at the expense of patients. Please don't pretend to be a medical facility that cares for patients when your business model cares only for large profits. While I can't speak for the in-clinic experience, their in-home option is poorly run. I've scheduled four in-home, 90-min session, and scheduled two, 90-min massages as a Valentine's gift for my husband. Of the four appointments, only the first one was on time, without a reschedule. Then, the second one was 60 mins late. The third appointment was a reschedule because there was a snow event on Friday, and the therapist couldn't make the Monday evening appointment. Last Friday, my appointment was cancelled by the clinic three hours prior to scheduled appointment time. The clinic staff graciously offered $50 off my next service, rescheduling for the following Friday, today. One hour prior to my appt time, I received a text that my therapist was stuck on traffic, and wouldn't be able to make it from Roosevelt to Edmonds in time my appointment at 4:30. The text read they would offer yet an additional $20 off my service, for an appointment start of 5. At 5:15, I called the clinic wondering where my therapist was. Then the field program manager called me to let me know he was a few minutes away, blaming him for being late. Then the field regional manager, Michelle, called to let me know that therapists are flakey, and that Lauren, the other manager is young and doesn't have professional experience. However, she also informed me that the appointment never should have been scheduled for 4:30, because my therapist was still in an appointment in the clinic. Not sitting in traffic after all, which is what Lauren the field scheduler text. Despite how much I loved this service, and was willing to pay a premium, this place is a disaster. If I was late to three of four appointments or rescheduled day of, I'd be charge the entire amount. Stay far away from this place. You're better off getting monthly massages from Massage Envy. read more

Fantastic Massage therapists! I have been going to the Roosevelt shop for over five years or so, for various issues: neck, shoulder, hip, and lower back. Recently, I have been going for compressed neck and an arthritic hip. Brian E. did a great job with acupuncture and Swedish massage; I felt immediate relief. Erin B. is fantastic, as well! Erin and Brian both carefully charted all my symptoms and laid out a clear plan to address my issues. I am fortunate that Brian and Erin both take insurance plans (some therapists do not take insurance because of the lower remuneration); I have Regence and I am covered for 16 acupuncture sessions a year (60 minutes) and 16 massage therapies per year (60 or 90 minute sessions). I saw Charylie and thought she was excellent. I arrived 15 min early to fill out the first time paperwork, use the bathroom and have some tea. The only minus of that experience was that the liquid soap dispenser shot soap straight across and hit my shirt, making a mess. Anyway, the massage itself was great.
