GW Relax Station is the value massage I've been looking for! GW is unlike other massage spas in the area that require reservations well ahead of time and end up being fairly costly after price + tip. They have some of the best prices I've seen for massages without sacrificing quality. We walked in on a Saturday evening, picked our service packages, and were brought immediately to our massage tables for full body massages and foot reflexology. I think it's important to know what to expect from this spa, since it is different from many other spas in the area. The full body massage is fully clothed and in a semi-private area. You are able to pick your desired pressure level but there wasn't much discussion leading into the massage. I thought this might lead to a massage that wasn't very personalized, but my masseuse identified and addressed my trouble areas throughout the massage. I chose the combination massage which included full body (30min) and foot reflexology (30min). After the full body massage I was seated in a comfortable recliner, given a fleece blanket that was very clean, and put my feet into a warm water soak. The foot massage was a tranquil experience and included massage up through the calf. Overall, this was a very good experience and I plan to return for future massages whenever I'm feeling muscle tightness. They were running a promotion where the 1hr combination massage was only $38 which is a price that is very hard to beat. read more

I really wanted to love this place, but it fell short. I went for the combo, which is 30 mins full body and 30 mins feet/lower leg. We started with the full body. You remain fully clothed, which is fine. But he also put a large towel over my body and massaged over that. It was excessive and I was sweating the whole time. The massage itself was not good. As they're not using lotion to glide across your muscles, all he was doing was digging his thumbs and elbows into me. I normally get deep tissue massages, so I'm no stranger to a firm touch, but this was just painful and poorly done. If I wanted a lackluster massage with someone jabbing their thumbs in my neck and back, I'd just have my husband do that for free! What made up for it was the reflexology massage for the last half. I moved to a comfy recliner, had a warm foot soak, and then massage. As he was actually able to use lotion this was a much better experience and I was finally able to relax and enjoy the massage. For $38 for 60 minutes, the price really can't be beat. If I come back, I would likely just do the reflexology. read more

We LOVE this place. No lines or waits and we get right in for quick 30 minute messages that literally put us to sleep so fast. So relaxing and the staff is extremely sweet and respectful. Foot massages are always the best with such a soothing technique and perfect amount of pressure. My partner and I decided to come here due to reading the reviews to start off my birthday! We had gotten the half hour massage. During our massage, an employees phone went off multiple times and their ringer was very loud. The two individuals who did our massages were also talking to each other during our massage for a few minutes. We could also hear another massage individual and who they were massaging talking as well a couple of times throughout the massage. These three things kind of killed the vibe of peacefulness, relaxation, and quiet during our massage which is unfortunate. When it comes to the actual massages, my partner felt uncomfortable with their massage and felt as though the person they had, was using the same elbow motion in his shoulder areas repeatedly throughout his massage. He felt it was painful and was in pain for a few hours due to this. As for myself, I enjoyed my massage but had slight left shoulder pain from it; however, a little while after leaving, my left shoulder has been in so much pain from the person massaging me, using the same elbow/arm motion in my shoulder area in a more pressured way than anything else during the massage. It's so painful that it's currently 4:49am and I have not been able to sleep due to the pain. Some positives; I would like to state that the employees were all very nice, and the inside is very clean though. You also cannot beat the prices for massages here, but I do not believe we will be back after this experience. read more

Definitely one of the worst massages I've ever had. Maybe another massage therapist would be more knowledgeable than the one I had. She was nice but clearly had no idea what she was going. There are two competing massage places across the street from each other. GW has been around longer. They are rushed, cut time short, and push people through. But they have a better environment- dark, music, etc. Relaxing station across the street is newer. They try harder. The massages are the actual times they say. The people are way nicer and accommodating. It's just the space is super bright. read more

So excited to have another reflexology spa in the area! Particularly one that doesn't charge 40% higher than competitors while insisting on 20-30% tips... (iykyk). For years, reflexology massages have been my weekly pick-me-ups, so I've certainly been to my fair share of locations and they can differ quite drastically in terms of ambiance and quality of massage. GW Relax Station only opened two days ago and I've already been in twice... (strongly considering going again this evening.) Obviously when getting a massage, the most important factor is quality/ technique. These guys know what they're doing. The technique feels very intentional and they spend extra time on your troubled areas (which I didn't even have to point out to them, but they were right on the money). I've had past experiences where it feels like they're aimlessly massaging, digging elbows in places they don't belong, and occasionally pull some interesting moves. Not here. The space is very clean, and the three people we've met so far have been so kind and accommodating - and in case I didn't make it clear, they're fantastic at what they do. I do want to briefly mention, the set up here is a little different than most. Typically in a reflexology spa, the "combo" massage is done entirely in a large recliner. They start you with a foot soak and begin the massage with you face up, starting with the head. Here they sit you in a recliner for a foot soak first, then they do your foot/ leg massage, then they move you to a massage table for the remainder. I wasn't sure how I felt about it at first, but by doing this they seem to be able to provide a much more efficient massage, so I'm all for it. Can't forget to mention - 60 minutes for $49 is SUCH a deal. Usually you have to go out of the city for that price point, so we're definitely loving that. Really hope to see this place do well. I went for a one hour foot massage with my boyfriend. It was fantastic. We sat next to each other and held hands while we drifted in and out of sleep and sweet massage bliss. 10/10 massage. $45 for a full body massage can't be beat!! Better and significantly cheaper than fancy massage places like Elements, Massage Envy, etc. I really prefer clothed massages to full service massages just due to the fact that I don't like the feeling of lotion/oil on my body, so this is perfect for me. They use a bit of unscented lotion on neck and face (yes they massage your face!!). I appreciate that it is unscented. The woman who was my therapist did a great job targeting my problem areas without me having to even point them out. I felt like I was just melting into the table. She stretched my limbs a bit too which felt really good. I am definitely going to come here regularly! Try to pay in cash as there's a $2 card fee. Horrible customer service I called to let to see if they had availability at nine. They said yes and I told them that I would be there around 8:45 or two and they said fine then I received a call back and from somebody from another number stating oh come at 9:20 because Cindy's not available till then and I said well we're almost there. They're like OK then when we get there, they are busy and another bigger Asian woman rudely comes and tries to, shoot us away and say oh they don't have anybody available and I said well we called and you guys called back and you guys told us to come in so literally wasted my time and gas to come to not even be seen then she calls somebody on the phone saying it's her boss and it was a different number and then the boss tried to say oh you guys called the wrong number. We're not that business and I'm like no I called the right number. I've been here before and now you guys don't want to service and tell us all you guys don't take appointments, but why did you guys tell us to come in anyways don't waste your time Coming to this place. Really enjoyed seeing Cindy but after tonight we will never come back. They don't appreciate your business or your money and the last time I was there I tipped very well so I would've thought that they would've wanted to see me and my friend again and I brought somebody horrible, horrible never again. read more
