Difficult to replicate designs I like from pinterest, so come with an open mind. I think if I were to come back, I'll ditch the hearts and just go with french manicure with sparkles at the tip. They just don't have the right stick ons or able to paint the hearts the way I want it. To me, the package is pricier than other salons I've been to, so may be tough for me to want to come back anytime soon. Overall, very nice service. The massage is the best part of the experience. read more

As a returning customer I love the consistency in their quality, hospitality and ambiance. Jacey was amazing, the moment i walked in she checked me in (i had an appointment booked thru classpass), offered me a beverage, and carefully listened thru and consulted me in the nail style i wanted. I love the outcome so so much, and the massage and hot stone at the end of my gel manicure service was the perfect way to end the experience. I stopped in to Gnails after making a reservation on ClassPass as I needed to use up some credits. I'm not sure of my technician's name but she was friendly and did a good job with my gel manicure; also the hot stones that accompanied the massage were a nice touch. Although I purchased via ClassPlass, pricing was pretty standard for a gel mani in the Seattle area. During my short time there, it appears this establishment is a local favorite as many of the customers who were there before and after my arrival seemed to be frequent patrons. This is my go to salon. Unfortunately I waited so long to go for a pedicure that the lovely woman who did my pedicure had quite the challenge. She did a great job. Time was not an issue. She took her time and I came out of there with a perfect pedicure. The salon is spotless. The employees friendly and engaging. I highly recommend Gnails. You won't be disappointed. read more

I've been a regular for dip manicure for the past couple years and service is always great. I'm often able to get an appointment on the same day if I call early enough but if not the same day, then within the next couple of days. Friendly, skilled staff. Always happy with my nails and I like the laid back atmosphere of this salon. read more

This was my fifth time ever getting my nails done. I know a tiny bit more than before. This time, I tried powder instead of doing acrylic. I had to do acrylic to make my nails longer. Acrylic is so annoying because you HAVE to come back to get it redone or it will break, it will catch your hair, it'll lift, it'll get way too long but it's hard to file down. Just learned about powder. It thickened my nail cause after four rounds of acrylic, my nails are really too thing. This place is awesome!!! I was happy with the results! Walked in during 4th of July weekend and they were fully booked. The owner was really nice and let me squeeze in between appointments and I only waited for 30 mins! I had some specific wants on how I wanted my nails to be and she was very attentive and made sure to make them just like the picture I brought! She offered me some refreshments while I waited and during the appointment. Highly recommend this place! read more

I've been here a number of times, and they always do a great job. I have both scheduled ahead of time and called to see if they were free and they said come on in. They have three chairs for manicures and something like five for pedicures, there's music playing, but it's not overly loud, and there's also a TV in front of the manicure stations, which is on mute, but has closed captions on. The staff all seems quite skilled in various applications. Prices are reasonable and comparable to other places. Parking, depending on the day, can be a little tricky. It's street parking, but if you don't mind walking a couple of blocks, you'll find a spot no problem. Overall, I highly recommend this place! PS they always have small water bottles available, which they give out complimentary . read more

I have always been curious about this place and after many years in the neighborhood, I tried it out (more by accident because I went to the wrong nail salon). Jacee was in a mad rush, or it seemed like it to me compared to the many places I've had my nails done. I said I wanted gel for both my finger nails and toe nails. For some reason she just went ahead and did regular nail polish. I didn't really think about it until I was done and went to grab my phone and smeared a nail. I just assumed maybe this was a new nail top cost or something to lock it in. They did fix that nail. That was the first time she didn't listen to what I requested. I also selected the basic pedicure and apparently got the higher priced one because that's what I was charged. Anyway, the work was just okay, and that's fine but the price tag was a bit of a shock and I don't expect nails to be cheap. Sadly, I won't be back or recommend this place to anyone. It also took almost two hours to get these things done and she was in a mad rush! Don't get it. read more

Jacey's team is incredible. They are consistent, high quality and a delight to go to for all your mani pedi needs. I am super picky about my nails because I am good at doing them myself but Jacey does such a great job. I can now trust that my nails always look bangin. I like the dip because I am really hard on my nails and they always stay for the full 3 weeks. Occasionally I do break one with my antics but Jacey is 5 minutes from my house and flexible on getting you in to fix a busted nail. I took my grandfather for a manicure and pedicure and he's addicted. He wants to go every week and is so happy with how good of job everyone here does on his nails. He's a gardener so, you already know they had their work cut out for them. The staff is always friendly and smiling. They have built the perfect team for Magnolia. read more

Wow. I almost do not want to be writing this review, part of why I love Gnails is that I can get my nails done literally whenever I want. This review may make that harder when folks start realizing how amazing the team at Gnails is and that they're missing out on a Magnolia gem. I have gone to a few places here in Seattle and for a good shellac manicure, I'm paying base $45 while for an okay manicure I can get away with $25. GNAILS ENTERS THE CHAT. For $35 I have gotten the 3 best manicures of my life, the color selection is superb and the manicure itself is top notch. These things are lasting 3 weeks looking perfect. Now to be fair, one time I did get an early chip on my thumb but that was due to some pretty hardcore bowling. I called Gnails up and by the following afternoon, said chip was fixed and my nails were back to looking perfect. Jacey is incredibly gifted and does a literally perfect job. GO HERE. read more

Awesome Mani-pedi! Highly recommend this spot. Included was a massage, exfoliation, hot boot oil treatment, hot stone massage, hand and shoulder massage. I've never felt so pampered. This is maybe the best mani-pedi I've ever had. The paint/shellac was applied perfectly The color I chose was a pink glitter, and it was a bit light, the nail technician showed me and went to pick a matching base color so my glitter would pop more. Very very happy with this experience, I came with my sister and we felt like queens for a day. read more

I stumbled upon this place hidden behind a coffee shop I normally frequent after having the worst manicure of my life right up the road. It had been less than a week and my gel was peeling and cracking, so I stopped into Gnails to see if they could fit me in sometime soon for a new mani. Instantly I fell in love. Jacey got me in immediately and had my nails looking amazing. The gel lasts, the shaping is perfect, and her color selection is enormous. I've been going here about two months now and she remembers my name and all the details I've given her about my life. She genuinely cares that I'm happy here. I got a pedicure here for the first time today and loved it! The salon is very clean, the staff is super nice, and they have lots of great color choices. For the pedicure, you get a choice of 3 different options. I chose the middle one, and it was great! The massage part was remarkably good. I'm so glad I checked it out. I'll definitely be back! I always recommend this place and come here with family. But today I was disappointed. I had an anxiety attack while I was here and one of the employees continued to laugh at me and had to be told to stop. Disappointing. 3 stars because everyone else was kind and just trying to make me feel better. I came for a walk in pedicure. It was $30 including tax. They were friendly but the pedicure took almost 2 hrs! Also, the nail tech cut my toe and it really hurt. I was really surprised how long it took. The tech took a whole hour filing my nails and trimming my cuticles. I got a pedicure a month ago. They used hot rocks for a calf massage, which was nice but no foot filing and no foot massage at all. Sorry to say but for these reasons, I won't be back. A basic pedicure should not take that long and should not hurt. read more

Unfortunately I need to amend my review. The day following my pedicure I noticed that the skin around both of my big toenails was a bit pink. Maybe she went a bit too hard on my cuticles, no big deal. A couple weeks later it was peeling. I probably should have gotten it checked out because that had never happened before, but it wasn't painful so I wasn't too concerned. However now my right big toenail is ingrown and extremely painful and I'm afraid of what will need to be done to fix it. This has never happened to me before, I've always had nice healthy feet aside from my thick calluses. I am certain this was caused by the last pedicire I had. I'm pretty upset about it, so I won't be returning. read more

The spa itself was calming as soon as I walked in. It was quiet, smelled nice and was well kept. Deborah did a phenomenal massage and I appreciated that she took a few minutes beforehand to understand if I had areas she should focus on, injuries and then she also gave a quick overview so I knew what to anticipate.
