Bonjour nails has online booking which is very useful when you're trying to be seen last minute. They have many colors and do all regular polishes, gel, and dip powder services. The staff is very nice and services are done pretty well. Sometimes I feel a bit pressured to upgrade pedicure but if you let them know what you want they'll do a good job. Be very specific about the shape of nails you want as well. There is garage parking. read more

I have been coming here for about two years for pedicures. I've seen a lot of people coming here for acrylic manicures so I used them for my most recent fill. It is always a very clean facility, and a great place to go after work to read a book and get a pedicure. This salon has very transparent pricing and provides really efficient customer service. It even provides online booking, which I greatly appreciate. Happy to recommend this salon to people who haven't tried it before read more

FAVORITE nail spot. Cute, clean space and the technicians are wonderful. 10$ add on for paraffin and a hot stone massage? Yes please! They were able to take me for a gel mani as a walk in on a Friday after work, but booking is also super easy. read more

It started out great. The nail tech checked in with me about the shape, length, and color of my acrylics. She spent a lot of time shaping and cleaning. However, when she started painting them, it went downhill. She didn't cap my nails, and the entire outer edge of each of my nails has no polish. It seemed like she rushed towards the end because some of my nails also aren't painted evenly. For $60, I expected more. Unfortunately, these will be the nails I take grad pics in. read more

Omg this is one of my favorite nail salons in Seattle! I did a walk-in and was quickly accommodated. Vy was my nail technician and her attention to detail is great. She's super nice and friendly, and listened to exactly what I wanted - she understood the assignment sooo well. I did french tip + chrome gel (no extensions) and my total came out to $65 ($45 for gel, $10 for french tip, $10 for chrome) which I think is pretty reasonable. My nails came out so perfect, and I'm obsessed them. The price also included a hand, back, and head massage hehe. I would highly recommend! read more

I've been going to Bonjour Nails for over a year now, and I'm very satisfied with how my nails turn out every time. My first visit, the nail tech recommended me to try dipped nails and I'll never go back to plain polish or gel. I love how my nails seems stronger and I never experience any chipping or breaking off a nail. I also find that I can get away with dipped nails for almost 7 weeks before I need to come back in. I also enjoy their pedicures, they always rub my shins and loosen up knots. And they always have my favorite OPI shade, Alpine Snow, in stock. Sometimes they'll send emails with a 10%, which is a nice gesture. Bonjour Nails can get busy, so I try to come during a weekday morning to miss the rush. read more

Update: and one of the nails has already chipped. For a solid 2 full days with them...Attaching a photo below. Can also see one of the cuts from the buffer as well. Bummed with my experience here. The first time I went I got a pedicure and I truly can't complain. The low stars is for the manicure I received. I had wanted to try dip and went back as I was happy with my pedicure and felt I'd get the same service. I got a dip manicure and it did not go as planned. The buffer tool they use to flatten and smooth your nail ended up shaving off majority of my cuticles. This caused little abrasions and bleeding on 6 of my fingers. The nail tech didn't even notice!! And when she was "done" I noticed I had the pink powder on parts of my hand that she didn't clean off/ lots of gunk underneath my nails. I had to ask for her to come back to clean them up for a final product. She didn't clean off the powder on my hands though. 3 of my fingers are still irritated / have redness from the shaved cuticles and bleeding so I have bandages that basically cover up the manicure. All in all I was bummed with this experience and hoping I don't need harsher antibiotics to clear up the cuts. read more

Unfortunately, I have been loyal to these folks and going to this salon for years and they don't care one bit about their customers. I was going on a trip and of course wanted my nails to look nice and went to have a shellac manicure. My nail polish popped off the very next day. I couldn't believe it. I responded to their survey and messaged them to let them know and I never heard back. I am so incredibly disappointed. They did such a great job when they first opened and now they have raised their prices and do a terrible job. Find another shop. I am looking if anyone knows a good one. read more

I had been wanting to check this place out since before the pandemic started but then it was closed for a long time. I'm so excited it is open now because I had am incredible powder dip manicure here with the owners' daughter. She removed my old powder dips I did on my own (which took the bulk of the time) and then went to town on dipping my nails like a pro. I was in and out of there in exactly an hour. The manicurist was accurate, paid good attention to detail, and shaped each nail to my liking. This was only my second powder dip session where I didn't go home and file my nails for another 20 minutes to get the rough edges down after. In fact I haven't used my own file on these once since leaving the salon. They had a good selection of colors to choose from and offered a beverage of either water or tea to enjoy during the manicure. She even put a nice warm towel over my hands as we were waiting for my old dips to soak off. This was a nice touch. The only challenging thing I faced here was the parking! They are in the heart of Ballard on Market St. And finding a parking spot is like a treasure hunt! Fortunately right now street parking is $0.50/hr. Not too shabby if you can find a spot! read more

This is the third time the staff have ruined my nail polish and tried to deny it. Every time I've come here, I leave with air bubbles, chips, and tiny hairs visible in my polish. Additionally, they don't use a fast drying top coat so it's easy to smudge your nails hours after the appointment. To make it exponentially worse, the staff tried to accuse me of ruining it myself and when I called to speak to the owner, they lied and said I had the wrong business and hung up on me. This is a very sloppy, mismanaged, and greedy business and I regret all the times I've gone here. Just wished I had learned my lesson sooner. read more

Pre Covid, I used to come here regularly for years! Today was my first nail appointment since Covid (other than once in July for my wedding) and I am sorely disappointed. I came in for a gel manicure and a regular pedicure. I specified I wanted the same color on my nails and toes and picked color 137 - something on the neutral side since I'm flying out of state tomorrow for my baby shower! The appointment was quick - 1 person did my pedicure while another person did my manicure. When I walked outside, I looked at my nails and they were much more pink than the color I thought I chose - but figured it must be the light. On top of that, I noticed that the filing was extremely crooked. Even my husband said "wow that looks weird" when he saw how my thumb had been filed. When I finally sat down at home and saw my toes (I am 8 months pregnant, so I didn't really see them much until I got home) I realized, they were the color I had asked for! Much more of a peach neutral than pink! So, my pedicure was great. My manicure however, was the wrong color and poorly filed. It was $75 and I tip decently so $91 on a non matching mani/pedi I had asked for with poorly filed nails. I will say, Vicky does an amazing job every time she has done my nails, but she was not in today. Will I come back? Maybe, since I've only had a handful of instances similar to this over the years. Maybe I'll only come back if I can book with Vicky. We'll see. read more

There are many characteristics that make a great dip manicure and this is the first nail salon I trust to consistently execute this service flawlessly on a recurring basis. No bump where the acrylic tip is glued on, curved around the bottom to fit my nail, excellent shaping, and most critically, exquisite and gentle technique when removing the previous dip powder set while protecting the integrity of my nail beds. 10/10 recommend if you are looking for a nice dip manicure. read more

Hi there! I really like this spot. During my last visit, my pedicure resulted in a scab and I privately messaged the business hoping to rectify the situation. I haven't heard back so I will include my email here. Good evening, I got a pedicure yesterday evening (6/8) at Bonjour at 5:00 p.m. I wanted to pick a spa pedicure option off the menu but wasn't given that opportunity. I realized the salon was busy so it was best I just got the standard pedicure. During the service, my foot was exfoliated in the wrong spot and actually caused me to bleed and be in pain. I have had my nails done at about 8 different places in Seattle, 2 places in Spokane, and 5 places throughout Montana in the last year or so, and Bonjour Nails & Spa is hands down the best experience I have had. There is a HUGE selection of gel polishes, I am always sat down and my process began within the first five minutes I walk in the door, and the quality of the work they do lasts over three weeks without chipping or cracking - which truly is saying something considering I have an extremely active hands-on lifestyle. The prices are also very reasonable for all of their services. I highly recommend checking this place out if you are in the neighborhood- or even making the trip, this place is well worth it! read more

The tech I had didn't give much attention to shaping. First they did a round, almond shape when I asked for a squared oval shape. I asked them to make the tips flat which they sort of did on 80% of the nails, and all the nails are not quite the same shape or straight. Attention to detail is not there. There's a small black smudge on one of my pinky nails that was put on in the first coat of shellac color and just coated over and wasn't covered. The shellac doesn't go to my cuticle so it already looks a bit grown out. The tech 100% looked away while actively having a drill on my finger several times because they were overbooked. I liked the color I picked and they look ok from far away, but I wouldn't come here again. read more

Nice atmosphere and the service is great my nail kind of broke within the first four days and then I had went back to go get it fixed and they try to charge me seven dollars after I've already spent about $200 there but I feel like it's OK. They did a pretty good job on my French tip and they did my favorite design with no hesitation. How do you like the prices? It's not a issue I just sit in my car. They try to charge me seven dollars for something that shouldn't be broken within the first four days. read more

I am so sad I left my appointment and cried. I had a very specific picture I asked for from the gal and it turned out awful. On top of that wildly unsanitary pedicure and did not use the proper tools then the price increased three times and I paid $125 for a FILL and a pedicure. While the gal next to me got a pedicure and full new set for cheaper. The gal pulled used tools out of a cart to do my pedicure. Then she her finger to apply chrome on my nails and it's so uneven and looks terrible. I have gone to the same place in Bellevue for years and I will never go somewhere else again read more

So happy to see that there is new ownership! Couldn't stand the last place ! Stopped in on a Monday night was able to get right in for a pedicure. Such friendly service and affordable prices for this area and walking distance in central Greenlake. They have quite a huge "menu"' of services but I just got the basic pedicure. 30 minutes a awesome leg massage including hot stones was $30. Perfect pedicure and I am so happy new owners including a remodeled inside look that is so peaceful and relaxing ! The phone rang a lot, even on a Monday night so I suggest calling for a appointment to ensure not a long wait! Sat down with owner to do SNS. She was sullen , distracted and annoyed the entire time. Made it rather uncomfortable . Very poor job. Not even one week out and nails are chipped, cracked and broken. That doesn't typically happen with SNS. I need my nails done and it's been only 5 days. read more

This was my first mani/pedi at this salon, and also my first one since the pandemic started. I was not disappointed! I got the deluxe pedicure and a shellac manicure. I was pleasantly surprised that the manicure included a short neck, shoulder, and head massage - it was wonderful. They do use plastic liners in their foot soaking areas so it was hygenic which I also appreciated. I generally feel like my toes aren't painted well at other places but they didn't rush at all, so the quality looks quite good. Overall, very very happy with my experience and would gladly make a trip off capitol hill to go again. read more

I got a mani 4 day ago and tried to show the shellac was painted off my nails on the sides but they sealed it off with top coat & ignored me. I tried to file/cut it away myself but now it has peeled off on 5 nails and I'm on vacation. fail. read more

Updating my review as I've been back a few times since my original experience and it has been much better. I really enjoy the services now and they do actually do a great job so maybe the day I had a bad service it was just the girl doing my nails. The ladies who work here now are all very sweet and I've been pleased with my nails every time. The only thing is that even when you make an appointment, there are times you may still have to sit and wait 15-30 minutes after your apt time before they actually start your service. So be sure to make an apt and try to get it earlier in the day before the get busy/backed up. read more

I got an SNS dip with artificial tips. (I'm a nail biter so they are incredibly short without any extension) The angle of the nail enhancement looks quite unnatural and the length of the nails is not consistent.I thought I might have been overly fussy, but my boyfriend who doesn't usually notice these sorts of things noticed. I really wanted to like this place because it is clean and comfortable and the nail techs were very friendly. Unfortunately, the finished product I ended up with isn't great. read more

Great service! We made an appt for 3 pedicures, and two of us asked for a mani when we got there. They were super accommodating! We picked our colors and they got started right away--mani and pedi at the same time. They gave a great massage (stone for both hands and legs), and did an excellent job on the color. They also were doing fantastic on social distancing. Loved the results! Can't wait to go back. read more

I went to Bonjour for the first time yesterday, a friend recommended them to me. I called ahead and booked an appointment for 3:30, when I showed up they were ready for me and had me choose my color. They were practicing social distancing very well, everyone was wearing the correct PPE and I felt safe the entire time. The woman who did my nails was amazing! She was gentle and made sure to check in with me during my treatment, also the massage was one of the better ones I've received during a pedicure. They look beautiful and I will definitely be back. Terrible experience here. 4 of my nails broke within one week of my dip manicure which was incredibly painful and now my actual nails are ruined. Our visit was rushed and once they found out that we were from out of town they didn't seem to care. I left with polish all over my hands and when I asked to get cleaned up the lady up front just shrugged her shoulders. So disappointed and a waste of money that cost me the health of my nails. read more

Meet the Manager: Vicky V.

After a long career in Finance Victor and Hannah partnered together to become small business owners. They found a rundown nail salon in a perfect location-- Greenlake! The salon opened in February 2017 and has been completely remodeled. Hannah has over 10 years experience in the industry. Not to start, but to actually even be there. Fortunately this go-round was only ~5 minutes, whereas last time I called multiple times to no answer and waited for nearly 20 minutes. I opted to give Swift another go because of proximity to home and she did a good job last time, but the ol' fool me once rule is at play here and I don't think I'll be returning. She's a perfectly lovely individual and the wax is probably a 4 star experience, but not being able to count on her being there on time is a deal breaker for me.

During the service, I observed repeated double-dipping of the applicator stick, which is unsanitary and can increase the risk of spreading infections or disease between clients. The waxing room itself appeared dusty and unclean. Additionally, the curtain was left partially open during the appointment, showing a lack of regard for client privacy. Overall, the experience felt unprofessional, unhygienic, and uncomfortable.

I also asked if they did Gel X. When I came in yesterday right off the bat my red flag was that they said they don't do gel x I'm not sure why that was a lie, after I was told they did. so I just chose to do gel since they said they could do that and I sat on the chair mind you they were rushing me. When I showed them a photo of what I wanted done they said okay and yhen cut my natural nails and when I told them that's not what I wanted they got bothered as well as they did some type of dip powder no color and not at all like the picture and since I pointed out it's not heat I wanted they then got upset again. There was 3 different girls working on my hands and toes so the shape also was not at all what I wanted. Very different on both hands. They then had to add a top to my nails since the lady cut them. Then when I requested square multiple times they kept rounding them and again I'd say something and they were upset. i was the last person to leave because they had to redo my whole nails I told them before they finished but they kept saying they knew what they were doing. And again the second time around bot at all what I asked for they definitely look like gum and thicker than my natural nails I have pretty petite and slim nail beds so the fact that they made them look wider it saddens me. Aside from that the did cut me multiple times and kept ignoring me I'm still bleeding from two spots. So anyways im never coming here again thanks.
