I really wanted to love Pink Polish, but unfortunately I've consistently been disappointed. I've had five appointments there since late November, and every single time my polish has chipped in less than a week. This week just put me over the edge. I had my nails done five days ago and I noticed chipping on my right hand three days ago and now my left hand today. I've mentioned the issue at each return visit, hoping we could figure out a better solution, but the outcome has been the same. I've never had this problem before -- not at my previous nail salon in Seattle and not in all my years living in LA. So this has been especially frustrating. I'm currently only coming here because my longtime nail salon (Nice Nails) of nine years temporarily closed for remodeling. I'm counting down the days until they reopen in March. I truly wish I had a better experience to share, but consistency and longevity matter -- and that just hasn't been my experience here. read more

The front desk staff, especially Jacqueline, are always so kind, thoughtful, and go out of their way to make sure you have an experience you'll remember. They remember us when we come and always treat us like family. The quality of the nail polish and cost is super reasonable. Pros: I was able to book a classic mani pedi same day, the people were nice and there was no pressure to make small talk, which I appreciate since I just would like to relax. I accidently got nail polish on my sweats and the technician was quick to remove it and very polite and friendly. Cons: I had some issues with cleanliness as I observed nail polish floating in the spa tub when I arrived. The seat arms also felt sorta sticky. It took quite a while for the polish to dry maybe like an hour? And then my nails were chipped on multiple fingers by the next day in strange ways, and I didn't do anything out of the ordinary. I was really disappointed that the quality did not seem very resilient (my nail polish that I do on my own lasts about a week). Perhaps I will give them another shot for just pedi and perhaps a different nail polish brand since they are super close to where I live, but another part of me just feels really sad to spend so much money, wait so long for drying, and not have things last that long! read more

I've had a good experience coming here. Haven't gotten to a point where I have a go to artist yet so have been just gone with whoever's available. One of the very first times I came here, I got colored French tips. The next day I had lifting on one nail and chip on another. I gave them a call and they let me come in same day and repaired my nails for free which was great customer service. Their pedicures are also great- they set a timer for leg massages to make sure everyone gets their full time. Overall my nails and toes have lasted quite a decent amount of time. One thing to note is that they do charge a shellac removal fee even if you're a repeat customer. The only thing I wish could be improved is the spacing between nail stations. There's a lot of 2nd hand filing/dip/gel nail dust floating around because of how close the tables are. read more

It was easy to book and get seated. The nail specialist did a great job buffering my neglected feet (I went on some gnarly hikes last month). My problem was the color of white I picked for my nails came across more as milky, like skim milk. They didn't pop.... and I am getting married next week. I asked if there was a white like another nail specialist nearby. My person got up, asked her and then came back to tell me they don't have that color. Obviously, I would have to be dim not to notice the spectrum of whites in the lobby. She said, "You like?". I shrugged and said it was fine. I don't want to be a B but I will be redoing my nails myself. When I paid my bill, I told the dude at the front my person said there weren't any other colors. He apologized for her and took 15% off my bill. I appreciate the sentiment, but I would rather just have another white than repaint them myself while in a hotel room with two children. I noticed too, the mismatched colors of flip flops she gave me. My person may have pegged me as low maintenance, which I am, but I am not a complete mess. I just don't have the schedule or income to come to a nail salon every two-three weeks, slump over with dead eyes and ignore the two people working on all my cutical surfaces. I am a mom, teacher, animal person. That's all. I will shave my legs closer to the wedding. Don't judge a book by its cover. read more

Didn't ask me to rinse my hands so when it came to the hand massage she rubbed all the stuff she had filed off into the lotion. Dug her nails into my fingers while she was applying nail polish. I've been a loyal customer here for a long time, but my experience today was incredibly disappointing. Despite the 7:30 PM closing time listed online, I was nearly turned away at 6:00 PM. While they eventually agreed to take me, the pedicure was so rushed it became painful and the end result looked terrible. When I pointed this out, I was told nothing could be done because they were now closing at 7:00 PM. It's hard to justify $50 for a painful, 'basic' service that wasn't up to their usual standards. read more

Lena was an amazing nail tech - this was one of the best gel manicures I have ever had! She was super polite, helpful, and friendly. She helped me find the right nail color and brought me multiple options after I showed her a picture on my phone of what I was looking for (a warm brown). She even painted a few nails with different brown shades so I could see the colors on my nails before I chose one - I hadn't had this opportunity before so I was super excited that she did this! She did an amazing job with my nails, and was super meticulous - this might be the best manicure I have ever had! She was politely talkative, and asked me about my holidays, what university I go to, and we chatted about her school experience - she was super nice to chat with and was very attentive to both my nails and the conversation. The establishment felt clean and organized. The front desk was helpful and polite! Had a nice experience here! Definitely make a booking if you know you're going to get your nails done. I came in on a Sunday and every chair was taken. However, they run a smooth ship. Staff was very friendly from start to finish. There are so many colors to choose from, I wish I had more time deciding. I came in for gel mani and regular pedi and I have no complaints. The nail tech asked me every step of the way if everyone was going well, I really appreciated that. Staff are hard working and enjoy each other's presence. It contributed to the friendly environment. I love this place. The nail techs are all so nice and will offer you coffee, tea, etc. It's very clean and cute. Today I was going to do my usual dip manicure but after talking with my tech, Jasmine, I decided to go with the hybrid gel because it can be filled every 2 or 3 weeks. I love how they turned out, Jasmine made sure they were the perfect shape while somehow still being relatively quick. She also made sure I was happy with my color and I am so glad she did because I would have felt my first choice too bright for what I was wanting this time. She was really great and I am very happy with my nails. Since I moved to Seattle 4+ years ago, this has been my go to place. Now and again I'll try somewhere else because I wait till the last minute to schedule so they're booked but I always end up coming back. I almost don't want to share this review because then they will get more busy and I don't want it to be harder to get in but they're great and we can't gate keep so you're welcome! They should add the word "perfect" to their name. I'm in love with this salon. So much so that I drive 40 minutes away to get my nails done. I've tried others salons but I just don't get the same customer service, quality, and overall experience. As soon as I enter the salon, I'm immediately greeted and offered a beverage of choice. These beverages include coffee, water, tea, and even wine. Other salons need to take note that these are the things that people want to experience when they're having a service. I feel like I have to beg for a cup of water going to some nail salons. Walking inside, the salon is beautifully decorated with extravagant chandeliers and pretty pink decor. I usually get the dip polish and this includes a manicure with service. I highly recommend Pink Polish, but heads up that they charge $10 to remove dip regardless if you got it there or somewhere else. The price at Pink Polish is definitely more expensive than other locations but for the quality of service, I receive, I will gladly pay. read more

I've tried several nail salons in Seattle, and Pink Polish stands to be my favorite! Some things to note: 1) I recommend making an appointment or calling prior to check availability, as they're a very popular spot. 2) They do not do acrylic, but do offer dip with nail extensions which are arguably better for your nails and finish much nicer. 3) They offer nail and other spa services, including waxes, tints, and lash extensions. From the moment you call or walk in, the staff are friendly and welcoming. They are also extremely efficient. I made it from the front door to the salon chair within three minutes, and had my extension and dip set done within the hour! The woman who did my nails was wonderful, and did a great job with the picture I had provided her as inspiration. The space was clean, the background music was calm pop, and I was offered a drink add-on as well. I got a coffee, but they also offer wine, mimosas, etc. this was a perfect after-work self care activity, and I am going back to get a fill as soon as I need to!
