I've been going to Phoebe at Pink Polish for over a year, and she's hands down one of the best nail technicians I've ever had. She's incredibly talented, fast, and unbelievably precise. I get a hybrid fill every time, and I've never had a single chip. My nails consistently last over a month and still look amazing. I really wanted to love Pink Polish, but unfortunately I've consistently been disappointed. I've had five appointments there since late November, and every single time my polish has chipped in less than a week. This week just put me over the edge. I had my nails done five days ago and I noticed chipping on my right hand three days ago and now my left hand today. I've mentioned the issue at each return visit, hoping we could figure out a better solution, but the outcome has been the same. I've never had this problem before -- not at my previous nail salon in Seattle and not in all my years living in LA. So this has been especially frustrating. I'm currently only coming here because my longtime nail salon (Nice Nails) of nine years temporarily closed for remodeling. I'm counting down the days until they reopen in March. We have been making the trek to Pink Polish from Lake Stevens for a few years now and initially I was very excited and impressed that the salon didn't have a strong odor (I have asthma/and sensitivities to scents) like many other nail salons. Unfortunately, I would say the last few visits haven't been as consistent as our initial visits. My husband and daughters polish chips off within a couple of days and my gel polish chips off within a week. The pedicures aren't what they used to be and it seems that Pink Polish has lost the edge that set them apart from all the other nail salon:(. There's now a strong odor and we always feel like the process is hurried and we're being rushed out the door. I am not sure if they had a restructuring or something over the past year, but it definitely feels like something is off. Today, the water was cold, the jelly soak was cold, and when my feet and legs were being rinsed I told the technician the water was cold but nothing changed. I always get the Pink Treatment and didn't get to select my jelly but the part that irks me is that the most favorite part of the pedicure for me is the 20 min massage, which did not feel like anything more than someone running their hands over my legs. Also, the new steam service and candles included in the Pink Treatment is so unnecessary because I'd rather have a nice foot and leg massage than steam on my legs and feet with a cold water rinse (it defeats the purpose of the steam lol), and then pouring candle wax over my legs and rubbing it into my skin is just bizarre because the cold air hardens the wax and then there's just chucks of wax mixed in with lotion and it's weird. The tech didn't even clean it all off and I still have bits of candle wax stuck to my skin, lol. The service and experience used to be top notch but no longer is, which is a shame. Sadly, it just isn't worthwhile for us to commute the hour+ each way to get our mani/pedis anymore. So disappointing. read more

Disappointed with the results of my pedicure. First off my nail tech girl was laughing a lot with her co worker and looking up at me, even if they weren't laughing at me it felt like it. Second, my nails weren't dry when she told me they were so they got messed up walking out. Third, there is nail polish all around my toe nail, she didn't clean up around them. HIGHLY recommend! This is the go to spot! My favorite nail tech is Lena because she does such an amazing job every time! She is so sweet and personable. The front desk staff, especially Jacqueline, are always so kind, thoughtful, and go out of their way to make sure you have an experience you'll remember. They remember us when we come and always treat us like family. The quality of the nail polish and cost is super reasonable. My nails usually last about 3+ weeks and cost is $45 and I've been going here for the last couple years. I cannot recommend this place enough!! read more

I've had a good experience coming here. Haven't gotten to a point where I have a go to artist yet so have been just gone with whoever's available. One of the very first times I came here, I got colored French tips. The next day I had lifting on one nail and chip on another. I gave them a call and they let me come in same day and repaired my nails for free which was great customer service. Their pedicures are also great- they set a timer for leg massages to make sure everyone gets their full time. Overall my nails and toes have lasted quite a decent amount of time. One thing to note is that they do charge a shellac removal fee even if you're a repeat customer. The only thing I wish could be improved is the spacing between nail stations. There's a lot of 2nd hand filing/dip/gel nail dust floating around because of how close the tables are. read more

Pros: I was able to book a classic mani pedi same day, the people were nice and there was no pressure to make small talk, which I appreciate since I just would like to relax. I accidently got nail polish on my sweats and the technician was quick to remove it and very polite and friendly. Cons: I had some issues with cleanliness as I observed nail polish floating in the spa tub when I arrived. The seat arms also felt sorta sticky. It took quite a while for the polish to dry maybe like an hour? And then my nails were chipped on multiple fingers by the next day in strange ways, and I didn't do anything out of the ordinary. I was really disappointed that the quality did not seem very resilient (my nail polish that I do on my own lasts about a week). Perhaps I will give them another shot for just pedi and perhaps a different nail polish brand since they are super close to where I live, but another part of me just feels really sad to spend so much money, wait so long for drying, and not have things last that long! read more

It was easy to book and get seated. The nail specialist did a great job buffering my neglected feet (I went on some gnarly hikes last month). My problem was the color of white I picked for my nails came across more as milky, like skim milk. They didn't pop.... and I am getting married next week. I asked if there was a white like another nail specialist nearby. My person got up, asked her and then came back to tell me they don't have that color. Obviously, I would have to be dim not to notice the spectrum of whites in the lobby. She said, "You like?". I shrugged and said it was fine. I don't want to be a B but I will be redoing my nails myself. When I paid my bill, I told the dude at the front my person said there weren't any other colors. He apologized for her and took 15% off my bill. I appreciate the sentiment, but I would rather just have another white than repaint them myself while in a hotel room with two children. I noticed too, the mismatched colors of flip flops she gave me. My person may have pegged me as low maintenance, which I am, but I am not a complete mess. I just don't have the schedule or income to come to a nail salon every two-three weeks, slump over with dead eyes and ignore the two people working on all my cutical surfaces. I am a mom, teacher, animal person. That's all. I will shave my legs closer to the wedding. Don't judge a book by its cover. read more

It's disappointing because the parking is convenient, the management seems great, and the location is excellent. I was so ready to love Pink Polish. I rarely get my nails done because I usually do them myself, so I was really looking forward to treating myself to a shellac manicure before a big trip. It genuinely pains me to leave this review, but truthfully the experience was so disappointing. I arrived excited to share my ideas and collaborate on my nails, but my nail tech came across as annoyed and dismissive throughout the appointment. Whenever I mentioned something I wanted, she repeatedly insisted there wasn't enough time, even though I booked my appointment in advance and knew exactly how long my appointment had been booked for. I had to ask several times if we could please include chrome - a big reason I had booked the appointment as a special treat - and she eventually agreed. When I got home, several nails chipped and began lifting within hours. To the salon's credit, they fit me in quickly and repaired them at no additional cost, and I haven't had the same issue since. Unfortunately, when I returned for the repair, I experienced the same unfriendly attitude. I left feeling like my appointment wasn't valued, which took away from what was supposed to be a fun experience. I also got the impression that shellac services weren't given the same enthusiasm as some of the other services the salon offers, though that was simply how the experience felt from my perspective. I wanted this to become my new salon, but after feeling unwelcome during both visits, I'm honestly hesitant to return--even for the removal. read more

Didn't ask me to rinse my hands so when it came to the hand massage she rubbed all the stuff she had filed off into the lotion. Dug her nails into my fingers while she was applying nail polish.
