I got a basic pedicure, so I can't speak to anything else but it was so perfect. My technician was very kind and did an amazing job! They should add the word "perfect" to their name. I'm in love with this salon. So much so that I drive 40 minutes away to get my nails done. I've tried others salons but I just don't get the same customer service, quality, and overall experience. As soon as I enter the salon, I'm immediately greeted and offered a beverage of choice. These beverages include coffee, water, tea, and even wine. Other salons need to take note that these are the things that people want to experience when they're having a service. I feel like I have to beg for a cup of water going to some nail salons. Walking inside, the salon is beautifully decorated with extravagant chandeliers and pretty pink decor. I usually get the dip polish and this includes a manicure with service. I highly recommend Pink Polish, but heads up that they charge $10 to remove dip regardless if you got it there or somewhere else. I was so ready to love Pink Polish. I rarely get my nails done because I usually do them myself, so I was really looking forward to treating myself to a shellac manicure before a big trip. It genuinely pains me to leave this review, but truthfully the experience was so disappointing. I arrived excited to share my ideas and collaborate on my nails, but my nail tech came across as annoyed and dismissive throughout the appointment. Whenever I mentioned something I wanted, she repeatedly insisted there wasn't enough time, even though I booked my appointment in advance and knew exactly how long my appointment had been booked for. I had to ask several times if we could please include chrome - a big reason I had booked the appointment as a special treat - and she eventually agreed. When I got home, several nails chipped and began lifting within hours. To the salon's credit, they fit me in quickly and repaired them at no additional cost, and I haven't had the same issue since. Unfortunately, when I returned for the repair, I experienced the same unfriendly attitude. I left feeling like my appointment wasn't valued, which took away from what was supposed to be a fun experience. I also got the impression that shellac services weren't given the same enthusiasm as some of the other services the salon offers, though that was simply how the experience felt from my perspective. Staff was very friendly from start to finish. There are so many colors to choose from, I wish I had more time deciding. I came in for gel mani and regular pedi and I have no complaints. Lena was an amazing nail tech - this was one of the best gel manicures I have ever had! She was super polite, helpful, and friendly. She helped me find the right nail color and brought me multiple options after I showed her a picture on my phone of what I was looking for (a warm brown). She even painted a few nails with different brown shades so I could see the colors on my nails before I chose one - I hadn't had this opportunity before so I was super excited that she did this! She did an amazing job with my nails, and was super meticulous - this might be the best manicure I have ever had! She was politely talkative, and asked me about my holidays, what university I go to, and we chatted about her school experience - she was super nice to chat with and was very attentive to both my nails and the conversation. I brought an elderly friend to get a mani/pedi, without any notice, on a busy Saturday. I didn't really expect that they would be able to accommodate us. However, they were extremely friendly and helpful, asking appropriate questions about my friend's health. They were able to fit her in within five minutes, and got going on her nails immediately. They were done within an hour, and we were on our way. My friend was exceptionally pleased, and so was I! Both her fingernails and toenails looked wonderful, and the people there were great... Today I was going to do my usual dip manicure but after talking with my tech, Jasmine, I decided to go with the hybrid gel because it can be filled every 2 or 3 weeks. I love how they turned out, Jasmine made sure they were the perfect shape while somehow still being relatively quick. She also made sure I was happy with my color and I am so glad she did because I would have felt my first choice too bright for what I was wanting this time. Some things to note: 1) I recommend making an appointment or calling prior to check availability, as they're a very popular spot. 2) They do not do acrylic, but do offer dip with nail extensions which are arguably better for your nails and finish much nicer. 3) They offer nail and other spa services, including waxes, tints, and lash extensions. From the moment you call or walk in, the staff are friendly and welcoming. They are also extremely efficient. I made it from the front door to the salon chair within three minutes, and had my extension and dip set done within the hour! The woman who did my nails was wonderful, and did a great job with the picture I had provided her as inspiration. The space was clean, the background music was calm pop, and I was offered a drink add-on as well. I got a coffee, but they also offer wine, mimosas, etc. this was a perfect after-work self care activity, and I am going back to get a fill as soon as I need to! I've been a loyal customer here for a long time, but my experience today was incredibly disappointing. Despite the 7:30 PM closing time listed online, I was nearly turned away at 6:00 PM. While they eventually agreed to take me, the pedicure was so rushed it became painful and the end result looked terrible. When I pointed this out, I was told nothing could be done because they were now closing at 7:00 PM. The color selection and design options seemed endless. Jasmine took great care in making sure my dip removal and new dip application was painless, and near perfect. I enjoyed the pedicure with parafin and the heavenly scented scrub. Dip unfortunately never lasts beyond a week due to my thin frail nails, but the experience is worth every penny. The best part of this visit was having a Thai Iced Tea while she worked on my nails. But my 2nd visit was with a different technician, Lena, who was wonderful! I thought I had requested the shellac pedicure which online is an hour and 15 mins but turns out they booked me for a classic pedicure plus gel polish (only 30-45 mins). There was an 8 minute massage but felt more like being pet and my nail tech was pretty distracted by her Apple Watch and texting on it. Was disappointed because I thought it was longer and not the best massage plus no scrubbing of calluses. I like how it's a women owned business and it had a calming atmosphere. BOTTOM LINE: FIND ANOTHER BETTER STUDIO IN SEATTLE. HIGHLY OVERRATED. OVERBOOKED OFTEN - RUSHING THROUGH SERVICES AND LACKING HUMAN CENTERED CUSTOMER SERVICE. I had booked a 12 PM appointment, but two days beforehand it was moved to 3 PM without checking my availability, but they did leave me a voicemail. They said that my nail tech was not available at noon and so therefore, they moved it at 3 PM so that I could be with my preferred nail tech. Prior to the appointment I reached out via multiple calls to confirm if I could get my preferred simple design, no one ever responded. Upon my arrival, Amy at the front desk was dismissive--She said that I should have kept calling, or messaging them via social because they are busy. I proceeded to inquire about my nail design to which she replied that they couldn't do it and could possibly come back the next day... Turning my appointment into two separate appointments. I had already rescheduled time at work to be able to make this appointment so I was upset that they were asking me to come back another day. I kept my appointment and just request requested to have everything removed. Then she sent the wrong technician, until I again requested to have my original technician per the notes from my original appointment. To which they reply that my nail tech wasn't available... she was in the nail salon, but working on another client. So I mentioned that this was not what was said in the voicemail they left (which I still have) --in any case nobody could execute the design and there was no point in me getting my nails filled... If I wasn't able to get the design, I would've loved to know ahead of time to come prepared with another option for my nails. At the end of the day when you get hybrid gel and they do all that buffing/ filing with their machines it ruins the nail bed. So my nails are now VERY THIN and the nail bed is damaged with no color nor design. Honestly, I just wanted to get everything removed so I would never have to come back here again until I'm able to find another nail tech or salon that actually cares about their customers. At checkout, Amy tried to bill me $80 for a removal service that was originally quoted at $22. I then asked for a price adjustment considering my actual service and she took off $20 so I ended up paying $60 -WOW! Amy then refused to provide the owner's contact information saying that I could dig through their website to file a complaint. To be honest, this is my second time returning as a customer, as I've had similar experiences in the past, but thought that maybe over the past years, they've changed...on top of all of this I had worked to grow my nails and had been a consistent returning customer and expected to continue being a ongoing customer, considering I found the nail technicians that I liked. However, due to this and how often they make me feel rushed I will not be coming back. They often make you feel rushed, uncared for, and unprofessional, and I will neither return nor recommend this salon. read more
