I had such a wonderful experience here--BI is absolutely amazing! From the moment I sat down, he was attentive, detail-oriented, and clearly takes a lot of pride in his work. My nails turned out beautiful, and the whole experience felt relaxing and personalized. You can really tell he cares about his clients and goes above and beyond. That said, finding the place was a bit confusing. The address took me to a residential, gated building, and I initially thought I was in the wrong spot. The salon is actually located in an open plaza behind that building, and it's now called "Funny Bunny Nail and Spa," which made it even harder to recognize. Thankfully, the kind woman who answered the phone was incredibly helpful--she came out to find me at the front door and even called out my name. Once I got there, everything was perfect. I'll definitely be coming back again. Just give yourself a little extra time to find it the first time--it's 100% worth it! read more

I live nearby and quickly became a regular when they first opened. I usually get a gel manicure and spa pedicure twice a month, and always tip 20%. I also always call ahead before visiting or I make appointments. This has always been the one thing I do for 'me', self care if you will. I suffer from anxiety and depression and this is my happy place ... WAS my happy place. The salon is beautiful, the massage chairs are amazing and who doesn't love a complimentary glass of wine? However, two days after my gel manicure, the edges started lifting. This has been happening the last few visits. I decided to call and ask them if they could fix the thumb nail which was so hideous, I peeled off the polish. I went in after work - the lady that fixed it didn't acknowledge me. I was having trouble matching the color, and asked for her help, she completely ignored me and walked away to talk to someone else that was working. She returned and just stood there with her arms crossed, staring at me. At this point I was on the verge of tears and wanted to say 'nevermind' and leave, but I chose the closest color to what I had. I also asked her if she could seal the other few that were peeling and she straight up told me 'no' and shook her head to reiterate 'no'. She did two coats on the thumb nail, panting onto my skin, then filing my skin to 'fix' it. As I was walking out (the girl at the front desk is always very kind) she apologized and could see how upset I was, she even offered me a discount for next time, but I didn't have the heart to tell her that I am never coming back. I walked out into the parking lot and just cried. I will never for the life of me understand why someone would center their business around customer service, yet treat people like absolute garbage. The nail place I used to go to wasn't the cleanest honestly. Half the chairs didn't work, and they didn't have a ton of colors, but they treated people with kindness, and perfected their craft. And that goes a lot further than a crystal chandelier hanging in your salon, when your polish job is subpar and customer service is even worse. I never write reviews like this, but I feel I would be doing others a disservice if I didn't. If you want your money's worth, and to be treated like a human being, do not give this place your business. read more

Just flew into Seattle and had an evening to myself so thought I would walk around the neighborhood and get my nails done. I found Westlake Nails on Yelp, gave them a call and they said they had an availability the same day just in a few hours. Friendly and attentive staff. Very happy with how my pedicure turned out. I was seated right away after checking in at the front desk. Someone brought me green tea as I got settled. They have multiple options for pedicures - all reasonably priced. I'm not from Seattle but from the SF Bay Area. Pedicure prices vary but for a good quality pedicure, it's not unreasonable to pay $50 - $60 if the treatment includes paraffin wax. I chose the pedicure package available for $40, which didn't come with paraffin wax but with a scrub and nice massage. They had a good selection of colors in both gel and regular polish. I went with a very bright pink for summer. I appreciated that they didn't cut off my entire cuticle and removed most of it by pushing it back gently. The polish application was also smooth. I've had the polish on for over a week now and they still look great, no chips. Convenient location, uncovered parking available, friendly staff and high quality service. Come by Westlake Nail Spa for the next time you want to treat yo'self. read more

I'm not used to having my nails done, but I felt very well taken care of. My pedicure was fantastic and incredibly peaceful, however I didn't get the name of the technician who did it. Cuong was the best!!! I rarely get manicures due to concern for chemicals, cuticle damage etc. but he was very receptive to my desire not to get anything done to my cuticles and to do regular nail polish and not gel nail polish. He did such a great job and even though I spent the rest of the day assembling Ikea furniture my nails still look pretty pristine amazingly. The location is really convenient above the whole foods and it is clean and well lit. Lots of colors to choose from and friendly helpful staff, reasonable prices given they must be spending a fortune on rent. Will definitely be back!! read more

Amy is the best nail tech there. She listens to what you want and does it flawlessly. 5 stars for her. As of everyone else, I've had a horrible experience. The girls always look rushed and my nails have come out crooked. There was an instance where the nail tech was trying to put my top coat on but her polish was old and dried up so she took out her cuticle cutter and started picking at the dried coating for a couple of minutes... as I waited. I still came back because the location works amazingly for me, but this last time was really bad. My nail technician was supposed to take off my dip, and so she coated my nails in acetone and applied foil. I waited for over an hour while they all chatted with each other and I had no idea what was going on... I finally asked and I was told she realized she had applied ALCOHOL to my nails for an hour instead of acetone, which is why the dip wasn't coming off. I wasn't offered anything to make up for the horrible experience, they just waived the $10 charge for the removal of the dip. I absolutely do no recommend this place. The location is amazing and Amy is great, unfortunately I can't schedule with her every time and can't come back here after so many bad experiences. read more

Stopped in for a dip service and eyebrow wax today with Amy and the results are fantastic. The first thing I noticed was how clean the salon is; the space very well lit, tidy and organized. I was checked in right away and offered water, soda or a mimosa, which is an incredibly thoughtful touch! If it wasn't noon on a Wednesday, I may have thought twice about that mimosa, but seeing as how I had to get back to work, I responsibly drank water. Everyone I met today was professional, courteous and went above and beyond to make sure I had a great experience. Amy took meticulous care of my nails, ensuring they were perfectly trimmed and shaped to my preference. She took her time to apply the dip evenly and the color came out very consistent and smooth. My eyebrow wax was great as well; fairly painless and again, she took her time to make sure everything was done with precision and care. I feel like a million bucks. I look forward to going back to Amy in the future, as I know I'll be in good hands with her. read more

I went I'm for a pedicure and mentioned at the beginning that I had some ingrown toenails that needed some work. The technician proceeded to file my nails and give me a great foot and leg massage but as she started to polish I mentioned that my ingrown toenails hadn't been worked on. At that point the receptionist said their owner did not let them work on ingrown toenails, unlike every other establishment I have received a pedicure from in the last 20 years. The color is uneven and does not even cover all of my nails.. I was recommended to ask For because she is the best at her job but she wasn't !!! she didn't even cut my toenails even very well. I have been to this nail salon multiple times. Although the work is always just okay and they reuse nail supplies/ don't sanitize equipment, I go back due to the convenience of the location. However, today was terrible. After being bounced between 3 different seats and multiple nails techs, I finally sat down to the final technician a quarter into my manicure after waiting for 17 minutes between technicians. She finished my nails and did a good job. After I asked about Venmo for tip, I tipped 15%. I typically tip 20% but deducted since she did not do the full manicure nor did we have any conversation. While I was paying at the counter, a different technician came up to me and complained about the tip. I found this very rude. read more

Called well ahead to make sure 4 would work, 4 of us showed up and only 3 were done while the 4th was waiting pruning feet. All 4 of us paid for the same massage, all 4 of us got different massages. First of all 2/4 chairs worked. Prepare to have your knees in your sternum for the whole experience. All 4 of our ladies were so preoccupied talking and yelling i can't believe we actually finished. First person had a full leg foot massage, exfoliation, and hot towel. the other three of us no foot massage, not hot towel and done in well under 20 minutes maybe 15 tops. What a horrible horrible place. Been all over the US and had close to 50 pedicures, this is by far the worst. Don't go here, don't call here, don't try it. I thought Ashton Kutcher was about to jump out and tell us we were on punk'd it was so laughably bad. Want a better pedicure? You're better off walking on glass. read more

Found this place on yelp and even tho the reviews were just ok, I booked because it was a 5min walk. Very accommodating when making the appointment (considering it's 2 days before a major holiday). The day of, everything was covered with ice in Seattle so I called to see if I could get in earlier. I was able to and made my way there. This review is for Yen and Qynh specifically; I hope I spelled the names right. Absolutely lovely ladies!! The energy in the salon was very welcoming and inviting. I was amazed at the options of colors, types of pedicures/manicures, space, etc. the ladies were basically waiting on my appointment to close up shop. But they were lovely, diligent, great customer service, great attention to detail to make you feel good, and just wonderful beautiful human beings. They talked to me and made me feel at home and welcome. The job was amazing. I was finally getting ready to leave and messed up 3 of my toes. Qynh stayed to fix it with no extra charge and kept insisting I wait for them to dry. Long story short, it was a lovely experience. I will definitely be coming back to them. I got my pedi and mani done by Hannah. She is very sweet and a good nail technician but her communication needs to be improved. The person at the reception and other ladies in the spa are so rude. I just asked Hannah for help in choosing a color for my mani but there was another woman who was doing some one else 's pedi who popped in and said we are all busy just take whatever we show you and leave . There was hardly any other customer at the spa who wasn't being serviced at that time. The moment she sent me to my mani seat she started talking in Chinese with other ladies which seriously offended me and started giving me weird looks until I left the nail spa. How will I know that they were simply chatting or abusing me for wanting help in choosing colors? If this nail spa is not about addressing customers preferences and putting customer's satisfaction first I don't think it will go a long way. When I spoke to the receptionist about this issue , she hardly responded with an acknowledgment for looking into this and to improve customer service.
