I wanted to like this place because of the location and the chairs are nice. Woman who did my nails had a super dirty station and it had hair and dust all over it. Didn't clean it in between clients. My nail chipped right after I got them done and so instead of fixing it she just filed it down and now it's so much shorter than all my other nails. Pedis are super pricy and I was only in the chair for 20 min! Waste. *just to clarify her station was dirty before I sat down, and two, I was very nice to my technician and I would never be rude to her. read more

Tina's Nails - Super short nail that was chipped, and she just filed it shorter instead of repainting it. So now I have an uneven short ass nail. - Nail Salons Near Me - Seattle, Washington

I went to 'Tina's Nails' and, oh boy, they definitely didn't know how to do nails. First off, the place smelled like a chemical factory exploded. I should've run then, but I wanted to give them a chance. That was before it took them over an hour to squeeze me in when they claim they take walk ins, mind you there was 2 other people in the salon. The nail tech claimed she couldn't do acrylic herself and encouraged press ons. PRESS ONS? I can do that myself at home. She filed my nails so aggressively, I'm pretty sure I saw sparks. And the polish? Don't even get me started. It was goopy, uneven, and chipped before I even left the salon. To top it off, they got polish all over my skin and left it that way like nothing was wrong. Save your money and your nails - just paint them yourself with a Sharpie. You'll get better results. UPDATE: Business manager replied to my comment taking absolutely NO accountability for their poor actions, the manager claims I didn't even go to their salon, but why would I take time out of my day to write a review on a place I "didn't even go to", this is such a joke I cannot stress enough DO NOT GO HERE! read more

This place was great. Had the best nail tech unfortunately she moved out of state. When I went back to ask for a fill and to fix my nails. The new nail tech told she could not take me as a customer since I previously worked with another staff member at the salon. I even gave the option to soak off the nails and start fresh and simple said. No she won't do it. I'm Confused because it's the same company and she clearly remembers me. read more

Tina's Nails is truly a hidden gem. I went in this morning (10/4 at 10:30am) and Anna instantly made me feel comfortable in the space. It's gorgeous and clean, with comfortable seating (both for waiting and while you get your services). The ambient noise is the perfect volume, so it doesn't overwhelm the experience. It also smells clean, but not in a chemical smell way. I went in for an acrylic fill and a pedicure. The pedicure was luxurious and intricate. My feet feel incredibly soft and are perfectly polished. The fill was truly stand-out spectacular. First of all, Tina's Nails has TONS of color options to choose from in tons of finishes. But the best part was absolutely Anna's attention to detail. She was meticulous about ensuring that my nails were shaped perfectly, and she made sure to get the acrylic very thin on my nail. They look absolutely incredible and I'm genuinely impressed with how perfect Anna was able to get them. I also would like to point out how kind Anna was. We talked about food the entire time and she very obviously has a gift for making people laugh. Overall, this was an amazing experience. I'm so glad my random inclination to get my nails done turned out so incredible. read more

Welp... 2 manicures (me: dip + guest: gel) lasted 4 days before chipping/peeling! We made an appointment a day in advance, showed up on time for our appointments to an empty salon (@ opening on 8/4/23,) and were still rushed the whole time and barely acknowledged? -My dip manicure had to be redone (I've never asked for my nails to be redone at a salon before - but this was a MUST ) I still wasn't happy w/ the results, but felt too awkward to ask for her to fix them. -I left with little cuts and burns on multiple fingers from the electric nail tool, and my friend had a bloody cuticle as well. One burn is totally understandable, multiple burns and tiny cuts is kind of ridiculous & pretty painful! :( -Icing on the cake: I keep my nails long and natural (no tips) - she cut the first one without asking how short/long I wanted them - had to cut them all short to match. Just a bad experience all around - there are several nail salons with great customer service & good prices in the SEA area that deserve your business! WHEW - with all that said, I'm off to an appointment at my tried & true nail salon to get these fixed ASAP. read more

Me and my coworker came in after a really bad day of work and needed to treat ourself to some personal me time. We ended up at Tina's nails where my friend and I two mani and pedi combo with a gel combo. It took less than 5min for me to get a response an appointment booked for same day. The quality service and reasonable prices were better than expected! To be very honest with you I'd head somewhere else. I came here since I live a couple blocks over and wanted to relax for the afternoon.. I came in had to tell my pedicurist that she had not cleaned any of my cuticles. I have a hard pain on my right side now:/ I also chose the deluxe package but my callus are still insanely bad (they typically are done smoothly when those yellow NEW scrubs are used) overalls it came out to $85..... for a pedicure. Left a great tip but that's the last time I head in. Major rip off especially for the services provided. read more

I live really close to here so I decided to get a pedicure since I was bored and in need of one. The deluxe pedicure with all the add on's is so relaxing and soothing, it's about $45? And you get the scrub, clay mud, massage, paraffin, all of it! I go back every 3 weeks because this option is so great. The chairs are comfy and have the massage options and they offer you a complimentary alcohol/or non alcohol drink while you're here. I'm a very satisfied regular (: read more

A little disappointed if you ask me. Have been a customer for a long time and have loved the place. But don't feel the same with the change in management, the prices have gone up, the service has gone down and to be honest the overall feel of the place seems not as warm/cordial. They still sanitize their equipment/open fresh pack at each service which is critical for me. The chairs are decent, the hot towels are nice. But plenty other places follow same standards now so not a novelty read more

I really hate writing bad reviews but I'm pretty frustrated about Tina's. I live across the street from and have been here 10-15 times since July (every 3 weeks). The service is inconsistent and recently poor. There are 1-2 girls that do a good job but the last 3 of 4 experiences have just been bad. I've asked for round nails and gotten square, asked for rounder and still not gotten round (see picture of pink nails). When asked to change shape or if I don't immediately know the color, I've encountered an attitude. The nails are often not symmetrical & chip after about 7-10 days. I've also had my cuticles cut a few times in the past. Today- they didn't have either of the two colors I selected and I didn't find out about the second one until I already had a base coat of shellac on. This left me scrambling to pick a new color, as it seemed the nail tech was already annoyed with me and I ultimately chose a color I don't like. There is one women who does a good job and didn't charge extra for a half glitter job (also attached after about a week) and seemed to appreciate that I was there often. The next time I went I asked for the same glitter nails I just had and she told me she'd change extra for each nail, even after I mentioned that I wasn't previously charged by the woman I'd seen before. The women asked me a lot of questions trying to figure out who hadn't charged me extra and it made me feel uncomfortable. I probably would've continued to roll the dice because of the location convenience but today after an already frustrating experience I was charged $35.50 for a shellac manicure when I've been charged $31 every other time. I gave two stars because they are clean and some staff are nice & do a good job but I will not be returning. read more

i had a mani pedi here, it's $50 for a basic. All of those other "upscale" amazon techie gentrifying salons charge $80!!! a bit out of my price range but i needed to get it done. all of the ladies were super sweet and the interior is so cute! read more

I walked in to have my acrylics removed only to have them ripped off my nails with the help of another nail tip from her nail box. She broke 3 of my natural nails and caused 2 of those 3 to bleed. I was in so much pain. She then reached to do my left hand after finishing my right and thats when I pulled back and said no. I did not want my nails ripped off. She THEN began the soaking method and when asked why she didn't remove them that way from the beginning, she did not give me an answer and then proceeded with charging me $50 once finished. I left with 2 bloody nails masked by polish. I DON'T RECOMMEND THIS SPOT. If your traveling, just wait until you get back home to your original NAIL PERSON. It's not worth it! Called to make an appointment and they didn't take my name, which made me feel like no "appointment" was actually made. Arrived and had to wait, but just a bit & I'd arrived early, so that was totally fair! I also wanted an eyebrow wax, so that was done first. I'm very happy with how they turned out, and it was less pain than usual, so that was great (but a ton of post-wax "wax-nee," which always happens to me). 3 different women worked on my nails. I really wanted to be annoyed about that, but I left with fantastic looking nails, so I'm not sure that complaints would go over well. The ladies were all super friendly, and my somewhat complicated nail job (full removal of dip and change to acrylic, per my request, and I'd had ColorStreet nail strips on, which seemed to confuse the ladies, but didn't cause an actual problem) turned out FANTASTIC!!! Oh - I also appreciate that I'd said I wanted my nails "short" and didn't have to repeatedly ask "shorter, please.."!!!!! They got the length perfect on the 1st attempt!!! read more

Place is nice! And never busy, no parking. Their pricing is all over the place, I've gone here a few times and every time I feel I am over charged with no real explanation lol for example: $15 add on for coffin shape? I don't even get long nails, no designs, simple acrylic coffin one color nails & a deluxe pedicure ($55) should not be $200(I've added pic of nails and toes that was a grand total of $200). This last time I had her break down the charges & she had to start throwing random things in "coffin shape charge, $30 add on for shellac" (normally 20 add on) just to finally get to the grand total. It's super sad bc I live basically across the street & always tip very well but they must have been having a slow week or something. read more

Worst experience in my life. These ladies had me bawling my eyes out crying. Horrible. Just know that the googled reviews and yelp regarding 1 stars is a fair warning. You will leave disappointment in some way. These ladies are wreckless and will shit on you the moment you walk in with their trash talk. I would know because I am Vietnamese and these ladies were hella disrespectful even to their own people. I couldn't find any other place to do full set acrylic so I knew ahead of time I was walking into trouble. Just never would Of expected to have had my worst experience ever. After this. I will try out black or Hispanic owned nail salons from now on. read more

Disappointed- I've been here many times before and left satisfied each of those visits but not this time. Came in for mani-pedi and what I walked out with I do not consider a manicure. She cut and filed my fingernails down to stubs! This is not attractive at all and it is very frustrating since I walked in with long nails and only asked her to match the length to the shortest one which was not anywhere near this short!!! Toes are good, done by a younger staff member. I will give them another chance, more carefully choosing my manicurist but every staff member in a business should be someone customers can rely on. read more

This 5 star review is specifically for Lee and Linda. Lee worked on my pedicure and I never felt rushed even though I was her very last customer of the night. She took her time to scrub, exfoliate, and massage my legs and feet throughly. Linda worked on my shellac manicure meanwhile. I am very particular to small details but not once did I have to mention anything to her about how my nails were filed or when there was paint on my skin. She was attentive while she worked and my pristine manicure shows. When I go back, I specially will ask for them. read more

My last and final time here I had called ahead. When I arrived they had locked the door on me lol. Another customer let me in on her way out. Poor job and poor experience. High price. I've been there for a pedicure and a shellac manicure. They charge more than other places within a 5 block radius, and the result is poor quality. Also, if you're looking for a relaxing, 'mini' spa like experience, you're not going to get it really. The staff there is very 'business' like. They move your feet into and out of the water, push back your cuticles, cut them off, at lightening speed, and get a little annoyed when you don't move your feet in and out of the water fast enough :/ Overall, I'm not going to go there again. read more

I used to go here and they did an amazing job, but in the last year prices have gone up and their work has gotten worse. If I get acrylics I want to not pay $45 for nails that look like a 10 year old did. My last few visits I've been left with uneven nails or polish on my fingers from a sloppy paint job. This past time I went I get acrylics and was left with uneven nails, box shaped nails when I asked for coffin and they were flat. I do not recommend going here, unless you're willing to spend a ton of money for a bad job. read more

New management is the worst and worthless. After 7 years of faithfully visiting Tina's Nails my spouse and I will NEVER return due to new management, increased pricing, add-on pricing for services that are free at other salons, and charging for a basic non-alcoholic beverage(s). I've been here around 5-6 times because of the convenience (2 minute walk) not quality. Do NOT come here on weekdays around normal after work hours. It's so busy and they will rush through you just to get the next person. I actually prefer a quick acrylic but it shouldn't sacrifice quality. This place is the true "$5 more" kind of place. I paid $45 plus tip for regular length white tip acrylic without gel top coat..... There are so many bubbles and my pinky nail was completely uneven so it looked like someone bent my nail down. I couldn't even ask the nail technician to fix the mistakes because she had already moved to another customer. Will not be returning here again. read more

Fun and fast! I've been coming to Tina's for years!!! At least a decade. First it wasn't call Tina though. It was another nails place. They changed it around 2010ish if I recall. The good~ spacious place. Comfy massage chairs. Competitive prices for this area. You can't find anything as affordable in downtown or belltown area! Nails ~ I've done it all here. Filling (way back when) to current shellac and regular mani and pedi. Service is what I enjoy. You get the rub and scrub, massage, hot towels! The whole nine yard! The not so good part would be the service as well! I've even got nails done by Tina herself before. Now I think they've expanded. She will have good nail technicians here. Some are really rough though. My recent visit few days ago, the lady cut and poke my nails too hard that it bled! And I naturally exclaimed in pain. All she said was "WHAT!!!!" Like why the hell are you screaming! Jeez. Talk about a turn off. She also cut my nails down so much! I'm pretty laid back and tolerant but this wasn't the first either. I may come back if I'm in the area but avoid that particular person! Overall 4 stars but minus for that bad service here and there!! WHAT!!! read more

It's been a rough week for my hands; I broke the nail off both middle fingers a week apart and had to get a fake tip just for the flippers to perpetuate the Malibu-barbie manicured illusion that my man hands are currently upholding. You may ask how it's possible for only the flag on one's obscenity fingers to chip off but honestly I'm not sure... Maybe it has something to do with all that time I spend flipping people the scarlet macaw, brass knuckle thunking snot-nosed brats, knocking over the elderly, flicking lovebirds in their STEWPID nogs, poking reading noses out from their books ***STOP THAT*** and sleep slapping myself awake all with the digitus medius being the far most utilized of my phalanges. Okay so the sleep slap is the only scenario I recounted that has ever actually happened. Surprised? Wull I know I sure was. You're right, occasionally I let a flag fly in the car too but you could argue it's for comedic effect- like hypothetically if you were illegally blabbing on the phone in your over-sized hummer and needed help seeing me over the dashboard- I would capture your attention with my blue crowned parakeet and winsome smile!!! I recently moved to the Belltown area and was seeking a nail salon close to home. This one is literally a five minute walk away from my house. I was very hesitant due to some of the iffy reviews posted here on Yelp. However, I can say that you need to ignore the negative reviews as this place was WONDERFUL. Take this review from a lady who is VERY picky about her nails. They had a pedicure chair open as soon as I walked in and they were able to start on my nails then. The manicurist that did my pedicure was super friendly and so was all of the staff. She did a really great french shellac pedicure for me. I was very satisfied and I will be going back. Loved the coffin acrylic full set I got here before! They didn't last as long as other full sets I've had in terms of needing to get them professionally removed, but I almost preferred them coming off naturally in one piece after they were grown out (after 3+ weeks), like they did, with minimal nail damage. The ladies were really nice, even though it was super packed and almost closing when I arrived. They also offer complimentary champagne mimosas :) The only downside would be that the color selection wasn't quite what I had wanted. Bottom line: would recommend! read more
