I did a walk in dip manicure this afternoon. My nails turned out so beautiful. Leaving as one happy and satisfied customer. I'll be coming back for a pedicure later this week. I am in loveeee with Tina nails read more

Had about an hour to kill while waiting for my car to be serviced. Saw this place while walking, decided to get a pedicure. RUDE STAFF. Not friendly at all. The lady who helped me went in between another lady and I. I felt as if my pedicure was rushed. Although the massage was relaxing at the end. They do offer water or tea at the beginning, which is nice. This location does serve adult drinks which is nice, too. Nice selection of brand name polishes and a clean salon in general. read more

Tina's Nails - Nail Salons Near Me - Seattle, Washington

Woman owned and operated! I go to this salon as often as I am able - they're delightful, my nails always look great and I've met the owner and her daughter. I always feel welcome and my nails look great! read more

Best $20 pedicure I've found in Seattle. Clean, affordable, quick-but-not-too-quick (i.e. my gal spent plenty of time massaging and caring for my legs). What I loved is that I actually saw my tech unwrap the tools she was about to use on me from a case, so I knew they'd been sanitized ahead of time. All the chairs, equipment, etc., seemed pretty new, so no worries about getting a chair where you won't be able to get a massage. (That's a big pet peeve of mine.) Big thanks to other yelpers who pointed me here. I can't wait to go back! read more

Would give 4.5 star if I could. Only -.5 because i called ahead and they said they could take me at noon and once I got there I was told I had to come back in 1/2 hour and when I did I still had to wait again for 15 minutes. ONLY downside. I LOVE my nails! I came in for an emergency acrylic replacement (one had popped off and I would need a fill soon anyway so I got that too) the staff there were nice and offer complementary drinks. My nails turned out exactly how I wanted them too. I like the color even more than I thought I would and I'll probably go back before I leave Seattle to get a pedicure in the same jell color. The shape is really nice (a lot of places don't get the almond right if you want it short in my experience) and the service was quick once I got seated. Overall I'm really pleased with the results and would definitely come back here or recommend this place if only they could give an exact appointment. Only because I'm not from here and I don't have a car so I had to just stay in the area to wait for them to have a chair open. But like I said the work they do is what really matters to me and I'm very happy with my nails! read more

I go here to get a spa pedicure. Walking around this city lots really puts a beating on your feet. Take those thunderzilla toes in for a soak and cut. I like the $45 tier pedicure personally. The hot rocks and the paraffin wax dip are worth it. Their massage chairs are older technology, but all in all the place is nice and relaxing. I have tried 2-3 of these places in Belltown and Tina's is my fav. read more

My sister and I have been very loyal customers that I have even brought co-workers/friends to frequent there; however, their greed and rush to get to the next customer in is outrageous. You make an appointment to get one nail fixed that shouldn't have been broken in the first place because I recently had them done (been a happening too often) just to wait 2 hours to get one nail done and they charged me $3.00???? It should have been free with an apology for the wait and shouldn't have taken 2 hours to fix. Be very AWARE - their greed has been their priority vs. customer service to their loyal customers. May be going back to Top Nails on Queen Anne or possibly searching for another place. An extremely disappointed customer! read more

Came here last week for a pedicure. I called in the night before to ask if they could take 3 of us at 9:30 AM (that's their posted opening hour) and the gal said no problem. Got there a little later at 9:40 AM and there were 3 ladies there. The floors were a mess. Apparently the staff from the night before don't clean and it was clearly messy. They had to wipe clean the chairs and the foot baths and set up everything from scratch. None of them were very warm or welcoming... The gals weren't the friendliest but they did an OK job. Tina herself came in some time after 10:00 AM and they seemed to bubble up slightly. One of their regulars came in during this time too so it lead to some conversation in the room. I won't be coming in again due to their cleaning practices (they should clean things the night before and let them air dry - who knows what they do with their tools) and the less-than-welcoming attitude. read more

Let me start by saying I got nails done for my wedding and it was completely ruined. I showed the nail tech how I wanted them done which was simple almond shape, medium length instead I should really short nails that was poorly polished. It was completely overpriced I would have felt better with buying paste on nails. I left the salon in tears. I will never go back nor would refer anyone here. It was a bad case of what I wanted versus what I would. read more

I won't lie, I was scared to come here lol reviews weren't very good but it was close to where we were staying and I was desperate to get a mani. There were a lot of places to eat/go near by and was a close walk to my hotel. Teri did my nails. Product selection isn't huge but not bad. Inside is clean and pretty nice. Teri is a little tiny bit aggressive but also nice/sweet. She blew me away and did an amazing job and I'm picky as shit! read more

Tina's Nails - Nail Salons Near Me - Seattle, Washington

Fantastic pedi! Will definitely be back. A few prior reviews gave me pause but decided to try because recommended by friends. Glad I did.

Came in for a pedicure for the first time. I selected the most "luxurious" offering from the service menu - at a $60 price-point because it included a longer massage and other special add ons. What I got was quite literally an express pedi - completely rushed and offered no sense of relaxation whatsoever. The massage was done so frantically it caused more anxiety than anything. For this premo location I would expect better. Would not revisit. read more

Terrible service. I wasn't asked what type of pedicure I would want. The girl who was doing my nails and feet was helping multiple people at once. They used to be a good nail salon and every time now when I go in it just gets worse and worse. read more

Pamper yourself with a Mani + Pedi for $30! Clean, Relaxing, and a Great Assortment of OPI/Essie colors. I walked in on a Sunday PM - waited 10 min. before I was pampered with my mani/pedi! The staff is friendly, the tools were clean (they opened a new set right in front of me), they did a very thorough job, and the place was very relaxing. I also thought they did a great job massaging/scrubbing my tootsies - and they even gave them a little extra attention since I've clearly neglected them! You can't beat the price at $30 for both!! I'll definitely be back for more!!! read more

The last couple times I've been, the nail polish has changed colors significantly within a day. First it looks hombre-ish then it becomes really dark, then light, and a white "border" starts forming at the edge of my nails. This happened with a light pink and a mint green. Normally, I wouldn't complain much if I liked the color it changed into, but... I don't. The "pink" looks horrid and the "mint green" looks like puke. I wonder if it's their cheap, defective nail polish or the discolored base coat or top coat that changes it. This wasn't what I paid for. They also take an arduous amount of time to do your nails, while switch ladies often. One and done, please! On a separate occasion, they even moved me from the pedi chairs mid getting nails done because they had 5 people that wanted to be massaged. Okaaaay, I am a paying customer, too. Fine, whatever! Respect my time and don't make me sit there for TWO hours while you dilly dally. Come here and you'll pay with not only dollars, but your time as well. Ain't nobody got time for that. There's also a .50 charge (not disclosed anywhere) for using your credit card. I've been here many more times than I've checked in and recently feel irritated after leaving. Aren't mani pedi's supposed to help you relax? I'd describe Tina's as a slide. You're excited to get a manipedi (climbing up the ladder). Get to the top, WHEE YAY you're here. Slide, faced down and eat dirt. Repeatedly. Good luck climbingback to the top of the slide again. #overyou read more

I was not impressed. My friend and I went in for just a clean up. Our cuticles were rough! They did a very minimal clean up for our hands and nails even though that is really what we came for. I told them not to clip my nails and they still pressured me to do it anyway. The girl working on me made me bleed multiple times and then she just gave up and brought someone else from her team to finish up while she went and sat on her phone. On top of the bad experience, the price of a simple manicure is pretty high. It does come with a nice scrub and massage although the massage portion is rather short. For the amount they are charging, you should take that money and go somewhere that won't cut your nail beds. read more

This nail salon is amazing. Tina, the owner, is super friendly and welcoming when you first come in to the store. The staffs are all very professional. The lady that did my nails did it with artistry and was very detailed and careful with my nails. They have the OPI Axxium Gel that gets cured with UV lights and it is just georgeous. It can last up to two to three weeks and it looks shiny and pretty without the worry of getting it chipped or being too thick of a layer like acrylics. I will definitely be going back. The price is $25.00 and I don't think it can get any cheaper than this for the quality and service you are getting. read more

I usually go here for Shellac manis & regular pedis. Try going on a weekday morning if you're like me & prefer to walk in rather than set an appointment. Tina is sweet & I've never left disappointed whether she or someone else did my nails. And - it's 10% off on Tuesdays! read more

Had one of the worst mani/pedi experiences of my life here. Went in for a mani/pedi yesterday. It was fairly empty when I got there so two ladies started working on my hands and feet. Both seemed to be in a huge hurry and the experience was far from relaxing. The lady working on my feet cut my toenails painfully short and cut the side of my foot while scrubbing (not sure why she was scrubbing the side of my foot in the first place) and blamed me for having 'thin skin'... I've had dozens of pedicures in my life and not once has my foot bled like that. She dabbed some blue stuff on the cut and it burned. The pedicure was sloppy and toenails looked crooked. The lady working on my manicure also did a sloppy job.. probably could have done a better job myself. I asked a different lady to fix two of my nails because the paint job was so bad. Also, the two ladies that were working on me spoke to eachother a good part of the time in vietnamese and that made me uncomfortable. ALSO, they list their shellac price as $10 extra (over and above a standard manicure) but charged me $15 extra... pretty lame if you ask me. Never going back and wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. read more

Sitting in the salon now...hm not impressed. I think it's really rude to have inside jokes, and talk about your clients while providing a service. At one point my gal had to get up and walk away because she was laughing so hard!!! To top it off my gal was really rough!! We went from Mani pedi to just a mani...leaving disappointed and uncomfortable!! read more

OK, I have gotten my last crappy manicure here, I'm seriously NEVER going back, despite the fact that they are a 30 second walk from my house. I'll start with yesterday: I went in for a mani-pedi and it took TWO HOURS...and trust me, it wasn't because I was being pampered and primped. It was because after I walked in, they got like 4 more customers (not all at once) and so the person who doing my pedi was also doing someone else's mani and someone else's pedi at the same time, running back and forth across the room. They were doing that to everyone in the store. I mean, my foot soak got cold I was left sitting there for so long. Oh, and 24 hours later, my polish is chipped on MOST of my fingers. For real! (And I was just at the gym and doing errands, not gardening or something.) On to the other services: my shellac chipped in a week (it stays on for 3 wks when I get it elsewhere.) The eyelash extensions: I had to go back every 5 days or so cause large chunks would fall out. I tried to ask the girl if I was supposed to be doing something special to take care of them, but I don't think she understood what I was saying, despite asking a few different times. (Turns out you are not supposed to use eye creams around them, or use greasy eye liners or creme shadows.) Brow waxing must have been OK, but I only get that done like twice a year. Anyway, find someplace else. They are cheap (as in poor quality) and have NO customer service skills, let alone making you feel pampered. read more

Don't let the price fool you, even though they are cheap, the treatment you receive is not! I was super impressed by this salon. They were really nice, and the service I received was one of the best pedicures I have ever gotten: great massage, nice nail shaping, and it was super clean. If you are in downtown and you need a pedicure, skip Julip and head here! read more

This has become my regular place for mani/pedis after trying a few in Seattle and Kirkland. Service is affordable, friendly, and Tina always remembers us when we come in. Pros: Affordable rates with nice selection of nail services (and great waxing too from what I hear!), accepts appointments or walk-ins (we usually just walk in), super accommodating, friendly, and I always leave satisfied with the service. Cons: Sometimes can take a while to get taken care of if you don't have an appointment, parking can be tricky at the location. read more

On Saturday I wanted a gel manicure but my regular shop in Belltown was closed, so I visited Tina's Nails. My service was excellent and they have a great selection of gel nail polish. The polish brand I originally picked (gelish) is apparently harder to remove, so they recommend one that was easier to soak off, but would still be long-lasting. Since removing gel polish is hard and can damage your nails, I was thankful for the advice. The prices here are also very fair ($25 for a gel manicure, compared to $30 at my regular nearby salon). I would definitely recommend this place for a good quality, but cheap manicure. read more

Having gone yesterday I have nothing but nice things to say. They were cheap ($10 for a manicure- $25 for a shellac manicure) and quick. I was in and out in 30 minutes and my nails turned out the shiny deep black that I wanted. She even suggested a better shade of black and did an extra coat to ensure it came perfectly even. So happy to have this gem in my neighborhood. I'll be back. read more

I debated giving this place 3 or 4 stars, but I'm feeling generous, so I'll admit I'm a fan. I came here with my friend since we were in need of a good mani/pedi. Tina was very friendly and I enjoyed the overall atmosphere for the store. I had one lady working on my pedi, who was great and knew what she was doing. However, the lady working on my mani was not the greatest. First, the water was way too hot and she dumped it out and tried to get some from the water where my feet were - uhh? I don't think that's too sanitary. Her co-worker scowled and said she must use clean water. The same lady cut one of my cuticles too deep, so it started bleeding slightly. Not cool. I know she may have been new, but it seemed like she was rushing a little much and didn't know what she was doing. Overall, I will be back and hopefully have some better service! It looks like 10% off Tuesdays may be my next visit ;) read more

I wasn't a fan on my mani/pedi here. They are a bit pricey at $40 and don't offer anything that makes them stand out from the others. Just a higher cost for their base set. The workers were a bit rude to me and the massage chair was broken. I was also questioning if the sanitation was properly done since it looked like they may be reusing supplies. I'm normally not very picky about these things, but I just did not enjoy my time here. I felt rushed and the job was sub-par. There are much better places you can go. read more

Would not recommend. My fingers work cut when they were taking off the nail polish and then suck my hands in nail polish remover and then used an old nail to remove my nails that I had on it also cost almost $30 which seemed very high to me. read more

Super nice people, clean and nice salon. I was very impressed. They have so many of those awesome massaging pedicure chairs that I imagine they probably get a lot of business from groups of people. I got a mani/pedi and was done within an hour. They took special care to make sure my toenails were dry since I was wearing shoes when I came in. (it's cold outside) They offered me tea or water which I thought was a nice touch. The products they used on my feet smelled really good and they really took their time to do it right. I'd definitely go here again. Price was really decent too! Mani/pedi together was about $30. read more

formerly Cedar Spa. This is my new go-to spot for brow waxing and pedicures. I always go on a Sunday, early afternoon, then pop over to the 5 Point for brunchy goodness. $20 for a pedicure is a great price considering what you get: they have nice, newer massage chairs sugar scrub on your legs a nice leg/foot massage with lotion the callous razor! (be sure to ask for it if you want that - I think by default they don't do it) OPI, China Glaze and Orly polishes (and a few other brands too) They take their time so you get a long enough soak and have a chance to relax My $10 brow waxing has been done by 3 different people and every time it was quick and they turned out great. They recognized me after only 2 visits. I love going places where you can feel like "a regular". read more

The pedicure at this place wasn't anything out of this world or special but the service is what stood out! I had a friend in town and we were desperate to get pedi's at 7pm on a Monday night-not likely to happen in this town! That is until I called Tina's! Thanks to fellow yelpers I saw there were good reviews and dialed the number! It was 7:45, they close at 8pm and she told us to come anyway! Two people stayed an hour late so we could get our moment of relaxation after a hard start to the week! Pros: Clean!!!, lots of pedicure chairs, two walls of colors to choose from, friendly staff, thorough attention to nails/feet, only $20 for a spa pedicure that included scrub, cuticle treatment, massage and warm towels Cons: I really can't think of any that stood out! read more

I went in sceptical based on other reviews I have read on here, but I needed a fill in on my gels so I rolled the dice. I was very pleasantly surprised. I needed a few nails repaired and did a shellac color change as well. The woman who worked on my hands did a fantastic job on the fills and color for a great price. She had great attention to detail and my nails look great! I will definitely be going to Tina's for now on for my fills. read more

Tina's Nails - Favorite OPI color...I'm not really a waitress. - Nail Salons Near Me - Seattle, Washington

I just exited from Tinas with a horrible pedicure service. They did not put any effort in cleaning the feet and I had to ask the lady multiple times to scrub more. She was in too much hurry. To worst it all they asked me to wait for another 15 mins for manicure and no one was to be seen even after 20 mins. And the topping being they charged me $ 68 for $ 30 worth of job. After realizing that did reimburse me remaining. And when I said it was not a good service she asked me ''Why Mam'. I mean Really!!Overall a horrible place. read more

I get my nails and waxing done here regularly. I am skeptical to find another salon with good prices downtown. The interior is great, and the service is wonderful. Although no reservation is needed, they are able to get everything done with good quality in a good amount of time, even during their busiest hours when every chair is full. Their gel manicures last longer than usual and don't chip. They have a great selection of colors and brands. Manicures include an arm massage, and I feel great afterwards! For a small salon, their waxing is done right with only the minimum strips needing to be used. They even have a soothing lotion they apply to my upper lip that prevents breakouts like the oils do. read more

I came in for a fill in and pedicure. This was my first visit, adn I chose this place bc its within walking distance. The service was great. The people who helped me seemed very nice and so did others that worked there. The pedicure was well better than other locations nearby, mostly because they have a larger place and can easily accomodate more poeple, which I think limits the stress. Great polish color selection. The only problem I have, and the reason I am giving only 3 stars, is because my GELL FILL-IN started chipping 3 days later. HOW IS THAT EVEN POSSIBLE? I paid $75 for my nails to start chipping only a few days later... I intentionally get gel on top of acrylic to avoid this. I've literally never heard of this. I'm incredibly disappointed. And since I stay at home with my kids, and my husband is out of town during the week, I have to wait until the weekend to get it fixed. I will probably go back for my pedicure, but will head back over to Top Nails for future fills. read more

Nice salon! Friendly service, clean, lots of shellac colors to choose from, same price I'm used to. Called up hour and half before and they had opening. Close to my work, nice area too. I just moved to Seattle from NYC where nail salons are a dime a dozen so I was interested in seeing how Seattle salons stacked up. In Belltown, it seems like all the nail salons are like, 2 desks and 2 pedicure chairs.. pretty small. Tina's was actually relatively sizeable with 4-5 pedicure chairs, and 5 busy worker bees cranking out polished nails one after the other. I didn't make an appointment so I had to wait about 15 minutes for a manicure. The manicure was done efficiently and the polish looks nice and shiny and it only costs me 10 bucks. I noticed a lot of girls getting the UV gel nails that last longer and it only cost 10 bucks more so maybe I'll give that a whirl next time. I also got a 10 minute chair massage - they used a yummy smelling lotion but no paper towel for the face part so I felt a bit icky putting my face is some unsantized hole (thats what she said). That being said, the women who worked there couldn't be nicer and they had a good selection of OPI and Essie colors. read more

I started coming to Tina's Nails because it's a quick walk from my apartment. They now do Shellac (gel) nails, which allows your manicure/pedicure to last for 3 weeks +. I've been impressed with the Shellac (gel) technique but regular pedicures have just been so-so for me, often not lasting a week before chipping, and I'm not rough on my feet. Tina and her staff are always warm and welcoming, and were very accommodating when I booked an appointment for myself and 2 friends for a friend's bachelorette party, making sure we all got our services done at the same time. It's a very affordable salon, and I've yet to receive bad service. read more

I always walk by this place on my way to QFC and thought I'd stop in for a quick manicure before getting groceries. For only $10 my nails came out great!
